December 21 N. H. Current Moon Phase and Planetary Positions

Current Moon Phase

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2019

Today the Moon will be in a Waning Crescent phase. In this phase the Moon’s illumination is growing smaller each day until the New Moon. During this phase the Moon is getting closer to the Sun as viewed from Earth and the night side of the Moon is facing the Earth with only a small edge of the Moon being illuminated. This phase is best viewed an hour or 2 before the sunrise and can be quite beautiful if you’re willing to get up early. It can also be a great time to see the features of the Moon’s surface. Along the edge where the illuminated portion meets the dark side, the craters and mountains cast long shadows making them easier to observe with a telescope or binoculars.

If You Could Have Anything for Yule From the Entire Universe and the Cost Did Not Matter

What would it be? For me it would be enough money to buy each of my 5 children homes big enough for their families or pay off the mortgage if they have so ready found their dream home. Then to pay off all my husband and my debts. Move to Ohio but 30 acres of pristine wood land to build a Main House and than some bunk bed cabins to have a place to use for Sabbat rituals.

While this song does have the words Merry Christmas in it this could be changed to Beautiful Yule or something similar.

It’s a very cute song I think especially sung by a child for you listening please…

All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth

Weekly Horoscopes December 15 to 21, 2019

All Signs

For the rest of this month and into January, the Sun will be in Capricorn and fiery Mars will be in Scorpio. These are two strong placements in and of themselves; but not only that, these two planets will work together in a mutually beneficial and supportive way that will help everyone. Let’s take a look at what this means for each sign. Incidentally, this shift creates a strong showing right now in Capricorn because this week when the Sun moves into Capricorn, it joins Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto already in Capricorn. Ah yes, a rising tide lifts all boats!

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This week the Sun moves to the very top of your chart where it will stay for four weeks. (This happens only once a year.) This symbolizes that a flattering spotlight is shining on you! And please note that the operative word is flattering. What this means is that in the next four weeks, bosses, parents and VIPs will see you in a favourable terms. You will look good to them even if you don’t do anything special. This will lay the groundwork for what is coming to you in 2020, which is a fabulous boost to your reputation in the eyes of others. Incidentally, your sex drive will be amplified for the next few weeks. Do with that what you will. (Oh my.)

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

All this activity in Capricorn is a wonderful blessing because Capricorn and Taurus are both Earth signs. Yes, kissing cousins. This means this boost of Capricorn energy that’s taking place is especially supportive to you. It will attract all kinds of opportunities to travel in the next four weeks. And if you can’t travel, then you will want to learn something new by taking a course or deciding to go back to school. Many of you will explore new avenues and opportunities related to publishing, the media, medicine and the law. Take advantage of this! One tiny caveat: Be patient with partners and close friends because Mars is opposite your sign, which makes you easily annoyed with others.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Ka-ching! Lots of activity is taking place in one of your Money Houses – namely the Money House that governs the wealth and resources of others. Perhaps your partner is earning more and this indirectly benefits you? You might get an inheritance or money back from the government? Whatever the case – it looks good! Bucks in jeans! Meanwhile, you’re busting your buns to work hard at your job. Keep in mind that for the rest of the month, discussions about shared property, inheritances, taxes, debt and insurance issues will be a stronger than usual focus. Many of you will be hatching travel plans as well. Bon voyage! “I’m outta here!”

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

For the next four weeks, the Sun will be directly opposite your sign, which (symbolically speaking) means that it will be as far away from you as it gets all year. Since the Sun is your source of energy, this means you will need more rest and more sleep. It also means your focus on partners and close friends will be more intense. Fortunately, your relations with partners will improve in the coming year, which is good news because last year, things were a bit challenging, shall we say? Despite your need for more rest, Mars will make you playful this month! Sports will appeal. Social outings and amusing diversions will intrigue and you will be up for fun times and saucy flirtations!

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This week ushers in a four-week window of work mode for you. Yes, roll up your sleeves and prepare to get busy because you will be very involved, in a more hands-on way, with many tasks. Fortunately, you will have the energy to work hard and this is a blessing. Venus opposite your sign will pave the way for warm relations with practically everyone, which is a good thing because Mars now indicates that your home scene will be more frenzied, active and chaotic. (Where is good help when you need it?) Be patient with others. In addition, look for ways to improve your health now because you can do this. (That’s always good news,)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Oh joy! This week the Sun changes signs and ushers in a lovely shift for Virgos. You are now entering a four-week window of fun, pleasure, social outings, parties, sports events and playful activities with children. Basically, you are going to give yourself permission to do exactly what you want and have a good time. And why not? Life is short – and fat. Family discussions will take place, perhaps related to home repairs. You will be enthusiastic about whatever you do and this will affect your communications with others, which is actually good news for those of you in sales, marketing, teaching, acting and writing. Tell it like it is! “Sign right here.”

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This week the Sun moves to the very bottom of your chart, which in turn, means your focus will increase on home, family and your private life. Naturally, many of you will be tweaking your digs for the holiday season. Fresh towels? Stemware? You like pleasant surroundings to welcome your guests. And indeed, you will be entertaining because Venus promises fun diversions and good times! You will relate well with children. This is a great month for games and fun. Romance is also favoured because there’s no need to pretend to be what you are not. (Try not to hemorrhage too much money.)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

The pace of your days will accelerate this week because the Sun is moving into a busy part of your chart, urging you to communicate to others as well as take short trips and schedule appointments. Fortunately, with fiery Mars in your sign, you have the increased energy to meet these obligations. Many of you will be redecorating at home and buying beautiful things for your home and family because Venus is travelling through that part of your chart. Meanwhile Mercury will give you moneymaking ideas! Enjoy increased time with siblings and relatives. Please note – the next four weeks are the perfect time to tell others how much you care for them. And why not? People love to hear this!

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

For some, “It’s all about the that base, that base, no treble,” but for you, the rest of this month is all about that money! This means you’re giving thought to how to boost your earnings. You will also wheel and deal in financial matters that will increase your wealth. And obviously, many of you are spending more! Money in – money out! With Mercury in your sign now, you will be articulate and to the point. (Helpful for financial negotiations.) In addition, fair Venus will make your words sweet, in case you have to eat them later. (I find whipped cream helps.) Take some time in the next four weeks to give deeper thought to your values and what really matters in life.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This week the Sun moves into your sign to join Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto. It is definitely all about you, dear Capricorn. This four-week passage of the Sun in your sign happens only once a year, and it gives you your chance to recharge your batteries and replenish yourself! It also has the blessing of attracting favourable situations and important people to you. Meanwhile, Mars indicates you might be in competition with someone? You will certainly be active in groups and organizations; and possibly, at odds with a friend. Meanwhile, Venus will attract money to you in the next few weeks. (We like!) Venus will also encourage shopping for art, jewelry, clothing and pretty things.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This week the Sun moves into a hidden part of your chart, which means you will be more low-key in the next four weeks in some areas of your life. Not all areas. But you will have moments of solitude to contemplate your navel and think about what you want for your new year ahead. You especially want to think about how it will be different from last year, and by different – we mean better! Mars is at the top of your chart arousing your ambition; while fair Venus is in your sign making you oh so charming and diplomatic with everyone. You will be involved with younger people more than usual in the next few weeks. (Does this mean you have to get a tattoo?)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

You are definitely looking at a social month ahead because for the next four weeks, the Sun will travel through the part of your chart related to friendships, clubs, groups and organizations. Yes, this will be one of the best times of the entire year for you to schmooze and enjoy good times with friends. Travel will still appeal because you want to explore your world. You might be more aggressive about chasing down opportunities in publishing, the media, medicine and the law. Discussions with bosses, parents and VIPs will go well because Mercury is at the top of your chart. Yes, people will listen to you! Meanwhile, a secret love affair is bubbling on the back burner for some. (Don’t risk a solid relationship for a mere bonbon.)
