Weekly Horoscope December 29, 2019 to January 4, 2020

All Signs

Tuesday is New Year’s Eve, which is a tricky night because people have such high expectations. “I must look fantastic and have fun!” This year the Moon is in Pisces lined up with Neptune, which means there will be much weeping and crying. People will be sensitive, empathetic, and they’ll drink too much or overdo drugs. People will pick up on the moods of others or they might drift off into their own private world. It will be hard to express what you want to say. There will self-delusion! You get the picture. “Beam me up, Scotty.” Forewarned is forearmed. Happy New Year!

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This year you make a fabulous impression on others because not only is it your time of harvest, but lucky Jupiter will be at the top of your chart, which gives your reputation a double boost! I kid you not. This is definitely your turn to put your name up in lights! By that, I’m referring to a time window of over a decade. Expect promotions, awards and the adulation of your peers. In addition, for the last six months of 2020, your ruler Mars will be in your sign boosting your energy making you super focused, supercharged and super persevering! Yes, you’re looking at a recipe for success! (Mom always liked you best.)

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Two areas in your life will get a huge boost in 2020. The first is anything to do with travel and dealing with foreign countries. Oh yes, you will have the best opportunities to travel in 2020 that you have had in over a decade! To say that you are going places is putting it mildly. However, some of you will use this influence in a different way because basically, this influence is all about expanding your experience of your world. Another way to do this is to get further learning and training. You might go back to school. You might sign up for courses. You might learn a new language. But you will expand your horizons! This is a given.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

The year 2020 will be a better year for you financially speaking because you will get richer through the wealth and resources of others. You might inherit money or assets. Your partner might earn more, which indirectly benefits you. You might get money back from the government. You might be released from a debt. Whatever the case, you will feel richer in 2020 because of an external influence. You will also feel more passionate in your personal relationships. Oh yeah. In the last six months of the year, expect to be super active with friends and groups, probably in a competitive way. You might be in a club that is vying for a championship? (You love an adoring peanut gallery.)

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Things have been challenging for your closest relationships in the last year. You know it and I know it. The good news is this year there will be a softening of this tension because lucky Jupiter will join Saturn in your House of Partnerships. The squeeze play will still be there, but now there will be something more joyful and more expansive as well. Relations with partners will be more upbeat and fun! In fact, 2020 is the best year for your sign to get married in over a decade! Furthermore, after July 1, your ambition will be aroused as never before. Oh yeah, you’ll be PowerPoint on steroids! You will get what you want.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

The good news for you in the year ahead is twofold: You will have a fantastic chance to improve your health. Perfect! “I want to be the best that I can be!” And secondly, you can improve your job or get a better job. Trust me. If you want to stay in your job, make an effort to get better duties or a better working station or be patient because your evil boss will be transferred to Timbuktu. However, if you want a new job, you couldn’t pick a better year to do this! This is your best chance in over a decade to create the kind of job that is rewarding and decent paying. Yes, it’s the kind of job you really want! Hope for the best!

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You are one of the luckier signs this year because 2020 is going to be all about parties, fun vacations, socializing and schmoozing with others, plus enjoying the arts and the entertainment world. Parents will find their relations with kids will be more rewarding. In fact, your kids will be a source of joy! You can look forward to one of the happiest years you’ve had in a long time. Admittedly, nothing is perfect. Disputes about inheritances, shared property or something that you own jointly with someone else will arise. But you can handle this. Your sex drive will also be pumped for the last six months of the year! (Would I kid you?)

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You have much to look forward to this year because more than any other sign, you are affected by your surroundings. Colours, lighting, smells – all these things affect your mood and your sense of happiness. The good news is that in the year ahead, you will create a more beautiful home for yourself! You will improve your home through renovations or redecorating. Or you might move to something bigger and better? Or perhaps to something smaller and better? Not only that, family relations will improve as well. Nevertheless, you will have to be patient with partners in the last six months of the year. (Nothing is perfect.)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You will be happier in 2020. It’s that simple. Your mind will be more positive and you will think like a winner. You will make better choices. You will expect more for yourself. You will be busier with short trips and schmoozing with daily contacts but it will be fun busy! Because our minds create our world – if you are happier – your world is happier. Capisce? It will be a powerful year for those who write, edit, sell, market, teach and act because your words will be winning! In addition, you will bust your buns at work in the last six months of the year just because you can. You wanted more?

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

More than most signs, you look for get-rich-quick schemes. It’s in your nature. You’re an optimist and you like to think that something better is around the corner. And it generally is! (That’s because our mind creates our world.) The good news for you, dear Sagittarius, is that you are going to get richer in 2020. You will either earn more money or somehow receive money or inherit money. Whatever the source – the money will come! Naturally, you will party more and entertain the idea of an amazing vacation. (Who is surprised? You adore travel.) It’s a strong year as well for those of you in sports, especially competitive sports.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Ta da! Jupiter is in one sign every year. This means it takes 12 years to go through all the signs. In the year 2020, lucky Jupiter will be in your sign! This means all kinds of good things for you. But in a nutshell, it means it will be a fortunate year for you in personal terms. Your confidence will increase, yourself poise will increase. You will be happier – no question. You will dare to dream big, which is a bit unusual for you because you are careful and cautious. You will schmooze with people from all over the world. (Literally.) However, in the last six months of the year, your home scene will be chaotic and super busy. Fortunately, your positive, confident, happy state of mind will cope. Ya think?

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

In the year 2020, you have a strong feeling of having survived something. To be precise – the dark night of the soul. Some of these difficulties might linger into the beginning of the year but ultimately these challenges will be fading, fading, fading away. This is why you will feel internally grateful and quietly happier. It’s like you stopped banging your head against the wall. Many of you will explore inner disciplines related to yoga, meditation and the study of the mind. Your appreciation for life will increase, which means you will also appreciate the loved ones in your life. This is setting the stage for the fact that by the end of the year, lucky Jupiter will enter your sign for the first time in 12 years, ushering in a fantastic year in 2021!

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

You are going to be so popular in the year ahead, it’s almost laughable. But to be truthful, it is not really laughable because although popularity is considered to be a wonderful thing, it’s not good to “lose yourself” to the demands of others. Therefore, your challenge will be to work smoothly with everyone else, and fill their needs and demands, and yet, at the same time, maintain your own independence and integrity. You can do this. Meanwhile, for the last six months of 2020, you will bust your buns to boost your income, which is a good thing because you will be spending money in a big way!

Current Moon Phase

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 26, 2019

Tommorow the Moon will be in a New Moon phase. During this phase the Moon is to close to the sun in the sky to be visible. The moon rises and sets with the sun and is not present in the night sky. Because of this the night sky is darker and an excellent time to view other celestial objects. Like the Full Moon, a New Moon happens at a very specific time when the sun and moon have the same ecliptic longitude and it can be measured down to the second it occurs.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2019

Today the Moon will be in a Waning Crescent phase. In this phase the Moon’s illumination is growing smaller each day until the New Moon. During this phase the Moon is getting closer to the Sun as viewed from Earth and the night side of the Moon is facing the Earth with only a small edge of the Moon being illuminated. This phase is best viewed an hour or 2 before the sunrise and can be quite beautiful if you’re willing to get up early. It can also be a great time to see the features of the Moon’s surface. Along the edge where the illuminated portion meets the dark side, the craters and mountains cast long shadows making them easier to observe with a telescope or binoculars.

December 22 N. H. Current Moon Phase and Planetary Positions

Current Moon Phase

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2019

December 19 N. H. Current Moon Phase and Planetary Positions

Current Moon Phase

 THURSDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2019

Today the Moon will be in a Third Quarter phase. Sometimes called a Last Quarter Moon, this phase occurs roughly 3 weeks after the New Moon when the earth is three quarter of the way through it’s orbit around the earth. If you live in the northern hemisphere the Moons left side will be illuminated and the right side dark. For thoughts of you in the southern hemisphere it will be the opposite with the right side illuminated. On the day of the Third Quarter phase the Moon will rise around midnight on the eastern horizon and set in the west around noon the next day. In the days following the Third Quarter Phase the Moon’s illumination will decrees each day until the New Moon.
