Saturn is in its own sign Capricorn from Dec. 2017 to Dec. 2020. Saturn represents the status quo, the government plus borders and boundaries. Like a sneak preview, Saturn slipped into the next sign Aquarius in March this year, then returned to Capricorn three weeks ago. In mid Dec. Saturn will move into Aquarius again, this time to stay until 2023. This heralds a huge change! Aquarius is revolutionary! The last time Saturn was in Aquarius, the Cold War ended, the Soviet Union broke up, Russia elected its first democratically elected president and South Africa repealed Apartheid. (1991-1993). Change and innovation are coming! (Relax: If you put out fresh flowers you don’t have to dust.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You have lots of energy because your ruler Mars is in your sign, where it will stay for the rest of year. (This is most unusual! The last time this particular phenomenon occurred was in 1988. Yes, I will keep reminding you.) Meanwhile, the placement of the Sun encourages lighthearted relationships, parties, social interactions, active sports, hot romance, entertaining diversions and fun activities with kids. Note: The end of the week is an accident-prone time for your kids as well as sports so pay attention to everything. That also will be the classic time for sudden changes in social situations – surprise invitations or cancellations.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Life is good. You can attract money to you now. In fact, many of you are spending more money than usual on beautiful things for yourself and loved ones. You have a strong focus right now on home, family and your private life. Some of you are involved more than usual with a parent. Be careful towards the end of the week because some kind of upset on the home front or an unexpected surprise might catch you off guard. Be patient with parents and authority figures. Meanwhile, you have a busy pace this week because short trips, conversations with others plus reading, writing and studying will fill your time. Near the end of the week, avoid arguments, which are really just power struggles. Phffft!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Your busy pace continues this week because you have an ambitious To Do list. Not only are you reading and studying more than usual, you are talking to siblings and neighbours plus taking little diversionary trips. You are even more chatty than usual. Many of you will have financial discussions with others. With Venus in your sign now, of course you are charming and diplomatic with everyone; nevertheless, you will make your point! You’re also very goal oriented at this time, which is why you are thinking about your priorities for the future. Toward the end of the week, avoid financial arguments and be extra vigilant to avoid accidents. Forewarned is forearmed!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
It’s still all about the money for you this week: money, possessions and your assets. You’re giving this a lot of thought plus you’re thinking about your values as well. Please be aware that towards the end of the week, some kind of surprise or something unexpected will impact your earnings, your wealth or your possessions. (You might find yourself at odds with a partner or close friend.) Meanwhile, your ambition is aroused and will continue to be strong and forthright until the end of the year! No matter what happens, you will work hard to achieve your goals. Please be mindful and aware and do not ignore or overlook the needs of others, which is certainly not your style – but right now you mean business!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You are blessed this week with the Sun in your sign giving you a chance to re-energize and replenish yourself. Relations with friends and groups are warm and friendly because Venus makes you loving and affectionate with others. In fact, this is a lovely time to socialize with friends and groups in person or online. You continue to want to travel or explore and expand your horizons in some way, which is why you want to get out and do something different. However, be aware that as the weekend approaches something sudden or unexpected might upset your routine. It could be a sudden argument, a car breaking down or something that interrupts your everyday routine. Stay chill. Even in bad times – good things can happen.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
