Moon Alert

After 12:30 PM EDT today (9:30 AM PDT), we have the “all clear” to shop and do business. The Moon is in Sagittarius.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

You will enjoy travel for pleasure today. Because your appreciation of beauty is heightened, you will also enjoy museums, galleries and seeing the art of other cultures. You might develop a crush on someone who is “different.” Good day to buy wardrobe items.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Today you will benefit from the wealth and resources of others. Someone might give you a gift or offer to lend you money or to help you in some way. Perhaps your partner will get a bonus or a financial advantage that indirectly benefits you, as well?

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

This is a lovely day to schmooze with others, especially close friends and partners. You will also enjoy dealing with members of the general public. Choose today to mend broken fences with someone because everyone is friendly and forgiving.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Those of you at work today will find it easy to relate to customers, clients and coworkers. In fact, someone might praise you, and a few of you might even get a raise. (Yes!) Enjoy warm interactions with others. Ask someone to help you if you need it because people are cooperative today.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is a playful, fun-loving day! Romance can blossom. You will enjoy the arts, movies, gallery showings, sports events and fun activities with children. Your bottom line today is that you want to kick back and relax in friendly company.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This is the perfect day to cocoon at home so that you can relax and take it easy among familiar surroundings. You might like to putter and redecorate your digs or do something to make things look more attractive. Perhaps you will tackle your garden or your balcony?

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Conversations with others will be warm and meaningful today because you want to have a genuine connection with someone. You want to move beyond a superficial level of politeness, and instead engage in a conversation that gets down to some personal facts.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is a favourable day financially speaking. If you’re working, you might see ways to boost your income or you might get a good tip. If shopping, you will want to buy beautiful things for yourself and others. It’s a pleasant day!

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Today the Moon is in your sign dancing nicely with Venus. This can promote your interest in the arts and all things beautiful. It will also pave the way for friendly relations with everyone, especially with younger people or those who work in the arts. It’s a great day to party, enjoy sports and socialize with others.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Solitude in beautiful surroundings will please you today because you need to take a little time off for good behaviour. Find a quiet place where you can contemplate your navel. You might also plan your busy social month ahead! (Especially a vacation get-away.)

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Relations with friends will be warm and mutually supportive today. Likewise, you will enjoy the company of people in group situations like clubs, organizations, the church or large conferences. For some, a platonic friendship will turn romantic.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

You are a bit high viz. today but no worries, because you look fabulous in the eyes of others. People see you as cooperative, friendly and attractive, which is a ice boon to your reputation. Listen to the advice of someone older or more experienced because it might help you financially.

  1. So true I wanted to play all day today but opted for a chill zone in my cupboard 😂 *leo*

    1. Sometimes we have to put work before play, unfortunately. Most of the times, we don’t even work on the weekends as I am sure you know. Excuse me, they ain’t working, I am, lol! Oh well, they need a few days off. They will be back cackling their heads off. I didn’t take time to read my horoscopes but it had to say something about enjoying the peace and quiet while it last and boy am I ever, lol! Cleaning out those herbs, huh? What better way could a person spend their Sundays. I need to clean my house up when I find time. Just not enough hours in the day anymore.

      1. oh I agree there seems to be no work eat rest cycle for some of us but hey if I choose to forgo telly time in order to play with my runes then I guess it must be done 😀 I keep trying to grow my own herbs here and they think its for eating.. Oh I love a good cackle myself though the spirits passing by tend to think its a little odd 😂

      2. You are a kindred spirit then, I would rather play with my Runes rather than watch TV any day. They seem to have more to say and provide better conversation than you find on most TV shows these days. I haven’t asked are you from the States? The term “telly” made me think you might not be, just wondering. Try growing your herbs in a window box or some containers on your porch sitting on plant stands. We have a huge problem with deer out here. They think everything we grow they are suppose to eat. We ended up putting a light mesh fence over the herbs and that seemed to keep them out. You might want to give that a try and see if that helps. Can’t have those herbs getting ate, there are more important things for them to do, lol!

      3. I am from a small town in England – Farnham in Surrey..
I spent all day yesterday giving free readings on a fb page because I love doing it and will find any reason to consult them – I made my own out of some terracotta clay and have played with them ever since.
I have a few pots with some in however they don’t seem to take as well as I’d like and then the strong ones get pilfered .. I know how that feels like dude save me some to conjure with. I love the netting idea so will definitely try that out 🙂

      4. I thought that “telly” remark gave you away. It is definitely nice to meet you, a friend from across the Pond, how nice! I make my own Runes also. I make my out of Oak. The I cut them into discs, sand them down and then wood-burn the Runes into the disc. I either leave them natural or stain them depending on the mood I am in. I started out as a Tarot card reader. Then I something got me interested in the Runes and I have used them ever since. It seems to me the Runes are more accurate than the Tarot or perhaps it is because I find mine talking to me. Do yours do that? I never thought of making them out of clay pot pieces. How do you stop the edges from being sharp? That would be perfect for us. Everybody around here wants me to make them a set of Runes but I swear that is a lot of sawing going on. Definitely like the idea of clay pots. You really ought to give the netting a try, it worked wonders for us.

      5. ooh what a great way of making them!
I am so pleased to meet you too.

We can buy terracotta in clay form here so that is what I did, I rolled a circle, I chopped the pieces into shapes and used my thumb to give them a little curl.
It is air dry clay too so I left them overnight and I wrote the symbols on.
Being a leo dragon I love the idea of scrorching them.. that seems more authentic then mine 😀
With me I lay them out and its like I enter a semi dream state and I can see within this .. I have a strange set of skills I admit that much, it is like telepathy with images.
I love it. I have a set of tarot which I use along with the runes and can give a description of the runes background meaning in terms of what is being asked.
.. looking up netting now 😀

      6. I don’t believe I have ever seen terracotta in clay form over here. Perhaps they have it at a hobby shop or something like that. I like that idea though, it is simple and seems quick. When you make them, do you do one a night till you are finished or make them all at one time? I always go for the one a night deal starting at the Full Moon. It seems to help me develop a good bond with them and they talk to me while I am making them. That wood-burning is a tricky deal. You have to have a very steady hand and if you make a mistake, well out goes that Rune. I got to the point I draw mine on with a pencil first then burn them into the wood. A few years back, I did some bindrunes for the members here. I guess I am just a Rune freak. The way they communicate with you sound very similar to the way they communicate with me. I go into a fog and then images start appearing and that is how they reveal to me what they want me to know. Never thought about using the Tarot Cards with them. That’s an idea. Oh, as far as the netting goes, make sure it is light-weight and we secure ours down with bricks. It is very windy here and if we didn’t we wouldn’t have any herbs or netting either.

      7. oh good idea, England isn’t well known for beautiful weather so I will be weighing it down.
I haven’t made any for anyone else though I have offered, I made them in honesty because I had the clay and couldn’t afford to buy some.
My awakening came after I was jobless and since then I have done little jobs for money usually online.
I kept having shaman style dreams, like a medicine man was following me or I was visiting him. Long story short I made them because I really had this urge to, I didn’t expect much of it at the time but they worked well when I gave readings.
With tarot I had learned tibetan numerology so I used that to give a vague meaning but I would use colours, expressions and situations on the cards to tell me what each rune was relating to.
I use a 3 runes, 3 cards system that can be for a period after the reading or for past present future.
Source knows what I am but I am very passionate, and excited almost that I live like it.

I love how you say about the fog it is so hard to describe some things as I am a bit on my own over here with a huge family and nobody to speak to about any of it.

      8. I had a good friend who moved from Canada to England and she told me it rained almost every day she was there. She got married in one of the old castles over there and it was even raining on her wedding day. So I can understand the weather over there completely. The weather here hasn’t been that great till the last few days. It has rained and rained here and we have had one storm right after another. We are located close to a major river and also a game reserve. It seems if a tornado or a bad storm is going to hit, it hits here. Last time, we had a tornado about 3 miles away from us and torn the heck out of everything around here. I am hoping that weather is now gone. We haven’t been able to plant anything. We did check the herb garden though, and we have several different herbs coming right on up through the water. Hardly little devils, to say the least.

Back to the runes, I ran into the Ladies of Wyrd. I believe they are the ones that got me truly hooked on the runes. I studied the mythology behind them, the history, the different processes of making them, everything in the book. Those ladies insisted if you were going to use the runes for divination, you had to know everything in the book about them. Some of the things, I really didn’t want to know especially when they mentioned menstrual blood and the runes all in one sentence. I am sure you know what I am talking about. But they are the ones that taught me how to make them. They said doing one rune a night helped you better connect with them. I know when I first got started I had one rune stuck in my head and I couldn’t figure out why. I ask one of the ladies and she told me, “silly girl, they are talking to you!” Well, heck I didn’t know. That was what I was there with them for to learn. They just sort of forgot to mention that to me, I guess.

By you mentioning you are by yourself over there, I didn’t figure there were many witches in England. I know over here it seems like witches are starting to come more and more out in the open. Which is a good thing, I think and it is high time too. Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention I am from Kentucky. So excuse some of my slang at times. People in the States refer to us as hillbillies. I am not a hillbilly but we do have some that live around us and then we have the hick-a-billies. When you meet one of those, you have definitely met something. I can’t even understand them.

I am getting ready to put them coloring pages on for you. So get that printer to going and I also have a few games the kids might like. And by the way, I guess you have figured out by now, you are no longer alone and all by yourself, huh?

      9. yeah I know I have a few wafters come by – I mean them no disrespect – though being part human a conversation with a like minded soul is always appreciated. I am a seer mostly so since the very moment of my awakening I haven’t connected with my relatives since, my friends online thought I’d gone crazy so I decided to keep myself learning and growing.
It’s a lonely road sometimes so it is a real blessing speaking with you (regardless of your location or accent ;))

English weather is weird it does rain fairly frequently but we get all weathers here. It was scorching all day and now I’m cold lol.

I love how how those Ladies were stern, I was told off once by a lady who I never met but we had been together in past lives – they are certainly a shock to those who have never experienced these things.

I am going to make a new set and encourage my mum to help though some days I don’t see her (me and my sister look after her after my dad got kicked out of the house and left mum to it, he now has his own place but none for mum or my brother).

Anyways before I go on thank you for taking time for me today and extra thank you’s for the colouring pages, I am so excited for them my nephew and nieces will be so chuffed!

      10. You are more than welcome. I was glad to do it. I feel like I have made a new friend across the Pond and it is my honor. I am a Hereditary Witch who happens to be a Solitary also. I also practice the Celtic tradition. It seems everyone thinks the WOTC is a coven but we are not. We are just a bunch of Solitary witches who got together and done something together. I know that is funny because I read a statement that said witches only come around each other when they have too (boy, did they get that wrong!). I have to admit, I have enjoyed the peace & quiet yesterday and today but I will be glad when the ladies return Tuesday. Darn must be nice to get a long vacation.

I know the Solitary Path can be lonely but it also has it advantages as well. I am too bull-headed to be in a coven. I don’t believe I could put up with someone telling me what to do and what not to do. It is funny I say that though, I come from the Hills of Kentucky. There were two covens up there and both of them had dwindling numbers. They wanted to combine the two but they couldn’t find a High Priestess they agreed upon. They all knew me because I grew up there. When I went back up there about 7 or 8 months ago, they asked me if I would be their HP so the covens could join and they would have a HP they could all agree upon and work with. Well, of course, dummy said yes. Heck they are family after all. So I don’t claim to be a HP but I am off the internet and when I go back home. Funny how things work out. I guess it would be so bad if I wasn’t at one end of the state and they are at the other end. Lots of traveling, lots!

I think it is cool to meet you. I am glad you made your first comment. See no one jumped you. I told you that would never happen or never will. I am glad to finally meet you. I will always take time with our friends and family. I now consider you a friend and I hope you feel the same way. By the way, I don’t believe I told you welcome did I? Welcome to the WOTC! I hope you consider us your home on the internet. You will always be welcomed here. I hope your nephew and nieces enjoy the pages. I have got to run for now I am about to starve to death.
        Have a very blessed day,
        Lady A

      11. oh no I couldn’t live with myself causing that enjoy your food!
I am so honoured and excited to have come across your page and to have met you.

I am so happy to think of you as my friend and I look forward to learning, growing and colouring in plenty along the way.

I admit, I was hasty to think anything negative may occur from my posting, I won’t be thinking that way again.

Feeling grateful and so welcome, I look forward to seeing more from your page soon.

Take care and have no doubt I will comment again soon,
        Your new english friend,
        Kev 🙂
