Other mystic marriages are of Venus/Adonis, Cybele/Attis, Erzulie or Aida Wedo/Damballah, Ata Bey/ Yoko-Hoo, Inanna/Tammuz, Ishtar/Damuzi, Ashtoreth/Baal, Bel/Marduk. The marriage assures the fertility of all the Earth and the coming harvest.
