FOR KEEPING A SPELL FROM BACKFIRING
If a Witch is sick and needs to cast a spell, he/she can bind it. This will keep the spell from backfiring and causing harm to anyone else, most importantly to his/herself. The Witch must procure a thread with a color as dark as the nightly sky.
Light an incense of Sandalwood and Lavender, and as the incense fills the air, he/she must make three knots on the ribbon as he/she intones the words that follow:
“By the Karmic Power of Three
This spell tied and knotted be
To cause no harm nor return to me
As I will it, so must it be.”
The ribbon must be carried when casting the spell as a talisman to keep it from backfiring.

Well, good morning, dear sister! It is wonderful to see you. I saw your replies from the other day and meant to answer them but they got lost. If you don’t jump on something right then, you never find it again. I use to blame it on Mystie, hell I blamed everything on her. But she is on temporary leave of absence. Lord Myst is helping out along with the other ladies. I know he wouldn’t delete them or anything. I think I will see if he can track them down for me today. He always liked you and I am sure he will. But it is truly wonderful to see you, sweetie. You are like a ray of sunshine in my day. So have you become a WordPress fan now? Might not be a bad idea to become one. I just threatened to sue FB this morning. Yeah, you heard right. There is a page over on FB that has our name. I have fought with them since Wednesday about removing it. FB doesn’t seem to give a damn. So I told them both they had to Monday to remove our name or else I was turning it over to the DMCA lawyers. I have asked these people nicely and you know what they had the nerve to say, “I was pity!” Can you imagine that shit? The bitch steals our name and I am pity, HA! HA! HA! I told her pity I might be but she has committed a much worse crime, it is called theft. I don’t have any idea how this is going to play out but I do know one thing. I never liked FB to start with now the deal is sealed I dislike them very much (I would use the word “hate” but that’s not a very nice word, even though I feel that way). Anyway, so much for my bitchin’ it is great to see you sweetie. It is also good to have friends like you around at times like these. Have a great weekend. I will get the Lord to track down the comments and I will reply to them. Till then…

Heya… since you sent me that posting saying that you wanted me to pop in more often.. I’ve been doing my best to pop in every day. Works better now that I remember my danged password.. gggls.. and I really like this Backfire Spell, the only thing I’d change in it’s wording is “By the Karmic power of three,” I’d simply use, “by the power of three” since I don’t believe in karma, this works better for me.. but what a great spell.. you know.. there have been times I’ve wanted/needed to work a spell but I’ve had to take medication.. or I’d already taken it.. so this is good.
I remember Lord Myst.. to be blunt, I didn’t think I had ANY friends on the msn WOTC site. I hope he can look up the other postings that I wrote because one of them you’d asked how I was and I wrote out a pretty long response.. so if he reads this..
