The Present
Eihwaz

Eihwaz represents the Yew tree and its everlasting nature. The Yew may bend, but it does not break. You are on the right course and have the strength and ability to meet your goals. Congratulations!

The Future
Hagalaz

Hagalaz is the hail Rune. It denotes chaos, destruction and disruption on a primal level. You may experience delays in moving toward your goals.

bw-ansuz

bw-ansuzYour Rune For Today
Ansuz

Ansuz represents mankind’s spiritual connection to God and the universe. It is often referred to as the “God Rune.” This Rune embodies reason, truth and justice. It denotes the coming of knowledge and true counsel from a higher authority.

Additional information about Today’s Rune, Ansuz

ansuz: Odin

Phonetic equivalent: a (as in ‘fall’)

DIVINATORY MEANINGS: authority figure, leader, mind & body balance, justice, shaman, clairvoyant

MAGICAL USES: for wise decisions, success, leadership; to help in divination and magic

ASSOCIATED MYTHS & DEITIES: Odin

ANALYSIS: This rune represents the instinctive, primal energy of uruz tempered with the discipline and experience of þurisaz. These elements are combined in the personage of Odin, who exhibits the characteristics of both chieftain and shaman – a god of wisdom as well as war. Odin is also a shaman, travelling between the worlds on his eight-legged horse, Sleipnir.

Ansuz is a balanced rune. As with fehu, many people choose to remain at this point in their journey. It represents power, both secular and magical, and this power can be quite seductive. Odin has learned the lessons of the first three runes, thus gaining the wisdom to rule wisely, but this is really only another beginning. He has only gained temporal power, and has only a few of the tools he will need to perfect himself spiritually. There is a certain lack of compassion and perspective in this rune. Odin sits high above his world, looking down and making decisions, but he doesn’t yet have the capacity to really care about or understand his people or himself. He still needs that emotional connection to become a truly great leader.

Your Lucky Tarot Cards for May 8th

Your Lucky Tarot Cards For Today

This reading represent elements that favor you.

The Emperor

The Emperor is gifted with the skills to successfully lead others. He can turn chaos into order, provide structure to that which is unbound. He is quick of mind and confident in his power and right to rule, and does so in a just manner. Although stern by nature, he truly is the ultimate father figure. He will provide as needed, teach those with unanswered questions, protect the vulnerable, set and maintain boundaries. His perfect world runs on schedule and is free of any disturbances. What the Emperor must be wary of is setting boundaries and rules where none are needed. If he isn’t he may well become a tyrant.

When The Hierophant or Justice are among your personal cards, the influence of The Emperor may be increased. Having The Empress in your personal cards may diminish the influence of The Emperor.

The Fool

This card represents the dreamer in you, the idealist, the mystic. The Fool desires to do great things, but is often unaware of just how difficult great things are to do. He must always be very careful of the choices he makes, and remember knowledge is his ally. The Fool often symbolizes a new beginning, unrestrained optimism, and curiosity that hasn’t been dulled by time. While The Fool may well indicate a lack of experience or grasp of the pitfalls along the path he is taking, it is equally true that his lack of experience leads him to believe all things are possible, which brings even impossible goals within his grasp.

When The Hanged Man or The Star are among your personal cards, the influence of The Fool may be increased. Having The Devil in your personal cards may diminish the influence of The Fool.

Your Daily Tarot Card for May 8th is The Hierophant

Your Personal Daily Tarot Card

The Hierophant

The Hierophant represents the protector of a culture’s heritage and traditions. His purpose is to defend and teach the established ways and beliefs a group embraces. He is inherently conventional and a true believer in the power of the group. He loves the structure of the group and its values. It is the task of The Hierophant to bring new members into the group—to prepare the uninitiated to take their rightful place in his culture. In this sense he is very much like a teacher or a priest. He also acts as the repository of his group’s history. The Hierophant is certainly not one to buck proper authority. However, he is a staunch and worthy defender of the tried and true. He represents the positive aspects of tradition and conformity.

General Horoscope

We might believe that more information can bring us closer to the truth today. Mental Mercury’s current visit to noisy Gemini encourages us to gather more data, but unresolved contradictions keep cropping up. Mercury’s contentious square to nebulous Neptune blurs facts while the earthy Capricorn Moon reminds us to favor direct sensation. The Moon’s shift into intelligent Aquarius at 7:21 pm EDT helps us find clarity.

Aries Horoscope

(Mar 21 – Apr 19)

You are a quick learner and thinking on your feet enables you to be quite comfortable in situations that would make anyone else uneasy. However, you may get your signals crossed today and make a rash decision based on a misunderstanding. Reality isn’t as black and white as you expect; it’s possible to see a lot of shades of gray. Acknowledging your lack of certainty lessens the pressure you might feel now. Instead of running with one of your spontaneous ideas, it’s wiser to take your cues from others. You don’t always have to be the leader of the pack.

Taurus Horoscope

(Apr 20 – May 20)

You might not be able to make too much sense of recent events and have trouble shaking off a belief that you should know more than you do. You may have suffered during an emotional encounter, yet it’s crucial now to concentrate on the present moment instead of the past. Don’t look back; channel your energy into communicating your current perspective instead. Being practical works best for you, but don’t shut out a good idea just because you can’t back it up with solid facts. Sometimes faith is all you really need.

Gemini Horoscope

(May 21 – Jun 20)

You feel like a pendulum swinging one way and then the other. If you have been too serious these last few months, you might be tempted to overcompensate today and show a more happy-go-lucky side. However, ignoring reality is not a smart strategy, even if you deserve to escape into your imagination. Indulging in a bit of fantasy can be emotionally healing now as long as you also acknowledge the importance of current events. The good news is that walking in two worlds comes naturally to you Twins.

Cancer Horoscope

(Jun 21 – Jul 22)

Someone might be all over your case about your work or a relationship. But you don’t really want reminders from people who don’t know all the facts. You know exactly what you must do; your problem is that you currently lack the concentration you need to finish the job. If your willpower is flagging now, rest assured that you will have more energy in the days to follow. Although denial isn’t a permanent answer, kindly asking others to back off today gives you time to find a solution on your own.

Leo Horoscope

(Jul 23 – Aug 22)

People seem to have a lot to say today, but you may be so enchanted with your own world that you don’t have the energy to connect with everyone else. However, in the spirit of friendship, you might take time to listen to someone’s story, but it only serves to distract you from your inner work. Fortunately, you don’t have to close yourself off completely from those you love in order to be true to yourself. Follow both paths at once; inspiration can be found anywhere you go.

Virgo Horoscope

(Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Your thorough analysis usually enables you to make the best-informed decisions, but your thinking might be a bit too convoluted today for your own good. Rational Mercury flourishes when it has good data as its disposal, but your logic is somewhat confused by dreamy Neptune. You can swiftly turn even the most basic facts into subjective stories and the most accurate perceptions into impressionistic paintings. Once you accept that everything in life is illusory now, you will be able to be spontaneous and enjoy yourself in the present moment.

Libra Horoscope

(Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Unfinished projects at work or home weigh heavily on your mind, especially if you have more obligations than you can meet today. There’s no reason to waste your precious energy fretting about things you can’t change if the demands being made on your time are unrealistic. Your fantasies may send you into a tailspin of doubt, but don’t let them drive you to distraction. Rather than getting caught up in your fears, continue to demonstrate your competence without second-guessing your decisions. A positive attitude produces the best results.

Scorpio Horoscope

(Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Although your perceptions are instinctively on point, you’re likely to take them to a deeper and darker place than needed. Your imagination may run wild now and you could spend too much time lost in fantasies without conscious limits. No matter what, don’t let your nagging worries turn into all-encompassing compulsions. If you find yourself obsessing over too many strange ideas, pull your energy back into the real world through physical activity or direct engagement with others. Flights of fancy are fine as long as you remember when it’s time to return to Earth.

Sagittarius Horoscope

(Nov 22 – Dec 21)

You may continue to experience pressure to take care of lingering financial matters today. Or, perhaps, you might derive considerable benefit from reevaluating what you have to give to others. Either way, be realistic about what you value and what you are worth. You are being offered a very small margin of error now; there’s no room to fool yourself. A mistake in judgment will likely cycle back to haunt you pretty quickly, so take your time and get it right. Finding peace of mind is priceless.

Capricorn Horoscope

(Dec 22 – Jan 19)

There’s no reason to set your sights so high today that you set yourself up for failure. Even if you have time to focus on your goals, you still cannot accomplish everything you want. Part of your current dilemma stems from the wide gap between reality and fantasy, with little ability to distinguish between the two. The fact is you are a human being, possessing irrational emotions that can’t help but affect your thinking. Lighten up and grant yourself temporary permission to daydream — even if it negatively impacts your productivity. Exploring your imagination is the first step to understanding your heart.

Aquarius Horoscope

(Jan 20 – Feb 18)

Although you might be unable to keep your mind from wandering today, your unexpressed thoughts can teach you exactly what you need to know. However, you must be totally honest with others and tell them you are not in the mood for socializing now. Sharing your truth prevents anyone from expecting more from you than you can give. There’s no need to fear the dark corners of your brain, for they hold the keys to the most amazing lights of inspiration.

Pisces Horoscope

(Feb 19 – Mar 20)

You wish you didn’t have so many commitments today because you’re not interested in engaging in lighthearted conversations upon command. Nevertheless, it’s not wise to postpone an event because you’ll probably feel more inclined to participate once you get there. You don’t have to fake a pleasant attitude; if you are in a serious frame of mind now, just be exactly who you are. Others will appreciate your honesty and integrity, making you grateful that you don’t have to hide your true nature when among your friends.

Your Daily Horoscopes for Friday, May 8th

Your Daily Horoscopes for Friday, May 8th

 by Rick Levine

General Horoscope

We need everything to be consistent with our plans today, but conflict still arises if someone’s convictions differ from ours. Although the calculating Capricorn Moon allows us to consider our options before responding, a minor disagreement can morph into a major power struggle as the Moon joins passionate Pluto. Just as things begin to settle down later in the evening, the Moon’s square to rebellious Uranus shakes things up all over again.

Aries Horoscope

(Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Your self-confidence is based on your practical outlook today; you know your strengths and understand what you must do to achieve your goals. However, you still may worry about the possible reaction to your direct approach. Although you might not mislead anyone intentionally, you’re tempted to sidestep a delicate situation because Venus’ shift into receptive Cancer increases your vulnerability. Nevertheless, your self-esteem could suffer unless you follow through with your original intentions and just get the job done.

Taurus Horoscope

(Apr 20 – May 20)

You are motivated to bring a discussion out of the clouds and back down to earth today because you aren’t interested in wasting time on philosophical issues or subtle nuances. For you, it’s quite simple: pay attention to the place where the rubber meets the road. Gaining solid traction nearly guarantees that you will reach your destination in a timely manner. You continue to make progress as long as you return to the basics at the very first hint of trouble. Don’t wait until you spin out of control before taking action.

Gemini Horoscope

(May 21 – Jun 20)

You might be feeling a little insecure today since charming Venus has left the chatty world of your sign and slipped into timid Cancer, where she remains for the next month. You may mistakenly believe that you have lost your edge, but nothing could be further from the truth. Although the pace of life is already starting to slow down, you will have sufficient opportunity to accomplish all you want over the weeks ahead. Remember, sometimes the most intelligent tactic is to say nothing at all and let your actions speak for you.

Cancer Horoscope

(Jun 21 – Jul 22)

Naturally, you’re more comfortable when there is an emotional resonance between you and others. However, you may grow annoyed today when you realize a coworker or friend isn’t open-minded enough to accept your unconventional ideas. Unfortunately, your personal well-being might not be someone else’s top priority now. Nevertheless, it’s still worth your effort to share your true feelings. Even if the reaction isn’t as supportive as you wish, you’ll still gain respect for standing up for yourself.

Leo Horoscope

(Jul 23 – Aug 22)

You’ll have much more success today if you break each job into smaller tasks while the responsive Moon is traveling through your 6th House of Details. Instead of just jumping into a project spontaneously, it makes more sense now to have a methodical frame of mind. Keep one eye on the big scheme of things so you always know what move you are going to make next. Although you may run into unexpected interruptions along the way, doing your homework before you get started minimizes the delays.

Virgo Horoscope

(Aug 23 – Sep 22)

People seem to go beyond the call of duty to reassure you about your long-term dreams today. Their support is refreshing because your coworkers sometimes find fault with you for placing too much significance on the wrong things. Nevertheless, your current attention to details is not up for negotiation. Your confidence is growing now, but it’s not helpful if favorable feedback goes directly to your head. The most reliable course of action is to continue demonstrating your integrity by being as productive as possible. Pride goes before a fall; a touch of humility saves the day.

Libra Horoscope

(Sep 23 – Oct 22)

An intense domestic predicament might require your immediate attention today, but a dramatic show of emotions doesn’t necessarily mean that anything is wrong. It’s just that you could be afraid that personal issues will interfere with your job performance. Establishing firm boundaries empowers you to attend to matters at home and at work while keeping things separate enough so you don’t create additional complications. Drawing a line between your two worlds helps to simplify your life.

Scorpio Horoscope

(Oct 23 – Nov 21)

You’re ready to enjoy a busy day, especially if you already have a solid plan in place for reaching your current goals. You’re eager to jump in and work hard now because you’re excited about the potential rewards. However, it’s not wise to bank on a payoff before you even begin. Luckily, you should be able to fulfill your obligations today if you are realistic in your resource assessment and have a purpose that goes beyond material gain. As Einstein wrote, “Not everything that counts can be counted.”

Sagittarius Horoscope

(Nov 22 – Dec 21)

You have a pragmatic attitude toward money today and your incisive thinking all but ensures that you’ll make the smartest choices. Nevertheless, your finances may be in need of some serious attention while the Moon hooks up with powerful Pluto in your 2nd House of Material Possessions. Unfortunately, impulse buying could quickly land you in trouble, so think twice before purchasing something you don’t even need. The wisest approach to spending now is the most conservative one.

Capricorn Horoscope

(Dec 22 – Jan 19)

You may run into more complexity than you bargain for if you assume a leadership role on a current project. Alternatively, you might feel upset because people expect too much from you. Logic tells you that you wouldn’t have to work so hard if others did their fair share, too. Don’t worry; you’ll be able to join in the fun later, even if you are the one who does most of the heavy lifting all day long. Winston Churchill said, “The price of greatness is responsibility.”

Aquarius Horoscope

(Jan 20 – Feb 18)

You have a secret weapon at your disposal today; you can tap the hidden resources within your subconscious mind to make the most out of nearly any situation. The Moon’s current visit to your dreamy 12th House of Fantasy inspires you to trust your intuition. It may not be apparent at first, but the variety of possibilities increases once you give yourself permission to dream big. However, you can’t just ignore the current circumstances; consciously work within the constraints of the real world for the best results.

Pisces Horoscope

(Feb 19 – Mar 20)

You might be very realistic about your goals today, but it’s still complicated to manage whatever is currently on your plate. In fact, you prefer to live in the future rather than in the here-and-now. Keeping your dreams alive is absolutely critical, but you must also be ready to respond to each situation that manifests. Ultimately, it isn’t wise to sever your connection with reality to focus on unfulfilled wishes about tomorrow. The only place you can effect change is in the present moment.

Weekend Love Horoscope

8-10: A Mixed Bag

Friday’s reserved Capricorn Moon might not seem like the most exciting backdrop for a date night, but don’t be so quick to judge this one. She’ll make a brilliant trine to the Sun followed by a radical square to Uranus, suggesting that you and your mate have an opportunity to share positive, yet unpredictable vibes together.

Then on Saturday night, the Moon edges into quirky Aquarius where she’ll remain for the rest of the weekend. Emotional space will be necessary, but if you and your lover have a strong friendship, you should enjoy this time of “keeping it light.” Even so, try not to make any important decisions about your love life — or anything else for that matter. A foggy square between Mercury and Neptune will make it difficult to keep all the facts straight. Instead, share your dreams.

This Weekend’s Romantic Rating*

* Heart ratings are based on the lunar cycle. They range from low to full, with low indicating a rocky weekend for romance and full indicating plenty of passionate potential.

Let’s Talk Witch – Sybil Leek’s Six Tenets of Witchcraft

Witch /// Brujita
Sybil Leek’s Six Tenets of Witchcraft

In some forms of traditional witchcraft, there are six basic tenets. These simple principles are guidelines meant to help practitioners lead positive and spiritually fulfilling lives. Although they vary somewhat from one tradition to the next, they are nearly always similar in spirit and intent. This list, which was created by author Sybil Leek as an outline of tenets of faith, includes balance, harmony, trust, humility, tolerance, and learning.

While not universal to all belief systems, these tenets can be a valuable tool for self-discovery.

Balance
Balance is found in all things. We find it in nature all the time. If balance can exist in the natural world, surely we can find it within ourselves. Our physical selves, our emotional state, and our spiritual plane… by finding the right balance of these three parts of our lives, we can live as better human beings. When our balance is thrown off, that’s when we begin to suffer. Too much of anything sends us off-kilter — for example, someone who takes on too much emotional baggage will begin to feel physically unwell. A person who is not having their spiritual needs met is likely to be emotionally fragile. Without balance, it is nearly impossible for us to be a well-rounded person.

Harmony
Harmony is something we must give ourselves. It is not something others can attain for us, nor is it something that we can gain without effort. It is a gift to our soul, from our soul. How do we interact with others?
Do we allow the shortcomings of the people in our life to negatively affect us? Are we forever blaming other people, and making excuses instead of finding reasons? If we are, then we are lacking harmony and must re-evaluate our life, and our perception of what things are. To truly find harmony, we have to stop looking around us and begin looking inside us. To this effect, harmony must work hand in hand with the concept of balance.

Trust
A key part of many NeoWiccan paths today is the concept of perfect love and perfect trust. To someone who is spiritually whole, trust is a many-layered principle. It not only means trust in those around us, but also in our gods and in ourselves. Trust is not blind, but it does involve faith. For example, we may know that the gods walk with us and guide us; we trust them to do so because of past experience, not because someone has told us to believe this. Trust is being willing to close your eyes and fall, knowing that the person waiting to catch you will do so.

Humility
When we stand before the gods, we know that we are imperfect, and they know this too — and yet they still manage to tolerate us and guide us. We are flawed, and yet we often try to be the best person we can. This paradox, then, is an example of humility. It is the knowledge that while we may be mere lowly mortals, we are deserving of love and happiness and opportunity — and the chance to make the world a better place, not only for ourselves but for others. As part of this process, we must love ourselves, because if we don’t, who will?

Tolerance
Tolerance may be one of the least acted-upon principles of many modern belief systems. While many people espouse the virtue of tolerance, many refuse to be so, making blanket statements about people whose religion doesn’t coincide with our own. To tolerate someone else’s belief doesn’t mean to put up with it begrudgingly; instead it means to accept their right to choose differently from us. We are all human beings, and all connected to the Divine; this factor makes us part of the cosmic whole. When in fact we look at the concept of “do no harm” — and this includes with our words as well as our actions — we must refrain from doing harm not because a rule tells us so, but because it’s the right thing to do. After all, what goes around comes around.

Knowledge
Finally, there is the tenet of knowledge. Without knowledge, there is no growth, no chance to evolve. While we may read books and take classes, true learning also comes from life experience. To truly advance on a spiritual plane, we must accept the fact that we don’t know everything there is to know, and that we must always continue to learn, both in this lifetime and in the next. Once we stop learning, we stagnate as a spiritual being.

A final note: It is important to remember that, much like other guidelines found in modern Pagan religions, this list does not apply to every path. Not all witches adhere to these tenets. If you are an eclectic practitioner, you may want to look at this list and see how it can be applied to your own belief system.

Celebrating Other Spirituality 365 Days A Year – Heston Furry Dance

Witch

8 May

Heston Furry Dance

One of the most famous of all traditional British festivals is Floral or Flora Day or more correctly as the “Furry”-from from the Cornish “fer” (Latin feria), a fair, rejoicing holyday. The date of the festival coincides with the feast of the Apparition tion of St. Michael the archangel, Helston’s patron saint. The legend recounts that the first furry was danced to celebrate Michael’s deliverance from a boulder hurled at him during an altercation with Satan. However, it is quite possible that some of the fair’s activities are linked to far older celebrations that honored the Celtic Horned God in the guise of Robin Hood.

From the street dancing that takes place on this day, it is clear that the festival has become inextricably intermingled with May Day. The procession begins at noon with the furry dance. One hundred and fifty couples participate in the dance, which winds through the streets of the town, gardens, and even homes that have left their doors open for the dancers. In the past, it was believed that the dancers would bring good luck and good fortune to the household as they passed through.

Friday & The Perfect Corresponding Spell

For many, Friday is the last work day of the week. It’s considered the fifth day of the work week and, also, the “cut loose” day. By Friday night, people are out having a party. That makes Friday the perfect day for lust, banish, fast-grant, and find spells . This day is so powerful (energy wise). That’s why whatever you do on this day will, usually, have a strong effect. If you want things out of your life, the darkness and power, associated with this day, bring the energy you need for that. If you need strong, immediate results, this is your day, as well.

Eros’s “Passion for Life” Spell

Gather a white feather (symbol for Eros and his mighty wings), a rosy pink candle, and a coordinating candle holder.

Carve a simple figure of a bow and arrow on the side of the candle. Place the feather off to the side, away from the heat of the candle flame. Picture the winged god Eros in your mind, and meditate on this image for a moment. Now, ask Eros in your own words to inspire you with passion and enthusiasm. Then repeat the following spell three times:

Eros, winged Greek god of passion and delight

Aid me in my quest for inspiration tonight

Passion is more than sexual, it conveys ambition too

Help me face my challenges and succeed in all that I do.

Allow the candle to burn out in a safe place. Close the spell by saying:

For the good of all, with harm to none

By flame and feather, this spell is done.

The Furry Dance – There are several explanations for the derivation of the word Furry, for instance, that it derives from Flora, the Roman Goddess (see Apr 28) or from the word for fire? But most likely it comes from the Latin word for fair (feria). It is the name given to the Beltane-like festival celebrated in Helston Cornwall, and featuring decorating with greenery, dancing and singing. It is one of the oldest communal Spring festivals in Great Britain, celebrated for centuries.

In Cornwall, England, the annual Furry Dance is performed in the streets of Helston on this day in honor of the old Celtic Horned God in the guise of Robin Hood. The festival, which features street dancing and a daylong procession throughout the town for good fortune, is one of the oldest surviving Springtime ceremonies in the world.

Theosophists commemorate the death of Madame Helena Petrovna Blavatsky on this day, which they call White Lotus Day.

The festival on May 8th, has a formal structure. On May 1st, there is a preliminary event, with music in the morning and night, and spontaneous dancing by children. There is an Early Morning Dance at 7 am (getting up early is always a feature of May Day rituals) and like most of these early morning rituals is celebrated by the young people, who all wear lilies-of-the-valley (also the flower of May Day in France). Other young people are out in the woods gathering green branches. There is a procession with young men dressed as St Michael, St George, Robin Hood and his men, who sing an ancient song, welcoming the Summer. At ten o’clock children, dressed in white and wearing lilies of the valley, dance. At noon, there is another dance led by the Mayor in his official regalia, and followed by men and women in couples, the men in top hats and morning coats, the women in summer dresses. They dance through the main streets and in and out of all the gardens, shops and houses. There is another dance at 5 pm, which visitors can join, so that the whole town is dancing. In earlier times, there was also a ball at night.

Like other May Day festivities, there’s also an association with water. The young people took anyone caught working on this holiday to the river where they were ordered to either pay a fine or leap across it (which because of its width meant getting wet). They could also demand a toll of any stranger entering town. Hole, Christina, A Dictionary of British Folk Customs. Paladin 1978

The Year Is Divided Into Four Seasons:

The first season is of a frigid complexion, and this is “Winter”; The second is of the complexion of Air, and this is “Spring”; Then follows the third, which is “Summer”, and is of the complexion of Fire; Lastly, there is the fourth, wherein fruits are matured, which is “Autumn”. ~The Turba Philosophorum, ca. 12 century

Must Do’s For Friday

Fridays are days of loving enchantments and passionate emotions.

See how many ways you could add a little loving enchantment into your life and the lives of your loved ones. If you wish to explore the topic of love and romance witchery even further, then check out my book How to Enchant a Man: Spells to Bewitch, Bedazzle &Beguile. If cat magick has tickled your fancy, then for further study read my book The Enchanted Cat: Feline Fascinations, Spells &Magick.

In the meantime, try sharing red berries with your partner some enchanted evening. Work that meditation, and see what other mysteries Freya has to teach you. Wear a Venus planetary color and call on the Goddess for a little inner sparkle. Burn some floral incense, light up some rosy candles, and set a romantic mood. Try wearing a little copper jewelry, and see how it affects you and your Friday magick. Get those potpourri and philter recipes going, and see what you can conjure up.

Advancing your magickal skills takes drive, ambition, and passion. Work with Eros to discover just how much enthusiasm, inspiration, and drive he can bring into your days, for the imagination is a place where dreams flourish and ideas come to fruition.

Call on these fertile and romantic powers, and create your own unique spells and charms. Just think of all the magickal information that you can now add to your repertoire of witchery. Lastly, remember this: when you combine imagination and a loving heart with magick, you’ll succeed every time.

Friday’s Witchery

Love magick is a perennial popular topic. However, there is more to this topic than meets the eye. There are many enchanting layers here for us to explore on this day of the week. What about creating a loving home, or producing a loving and nurturing family? What about keeping your intimate relationships vital and on track? How about promoting happy, healthy, and eduring friendships? See, there is more to be considered than just the “You shall be mine….” type of fictional love spell.

Don’t forget that many of the deities associated with Fridays are also parents. So, yes, while this is the day to work on romance, sex, and love spells, there is additional magick to be considered here, which makes Fridays a more well-rounded and bigger opportunity for witchery than many folks ever truly realize. The truest, strongest magick always comes from the heart.
