Sorry I didn’t answer sooner but at first I didn’t understand your question. After re-reading it, I now do. The chant can be used right before casting a spell or by itself. Either way is perfectly fine. I hope I have answered your question. If you have any more just holler and next time I will try my best to be more prompt in an answer.
