Daylight Saving Time Around the World 2022 – Starts March 13, 2022, at 2:00 AM Local Time

This article is from timeanddate.com. This is also a great website for converting time from one country to another one. This can be done by using this link  world clock time converter  This is the website I use to make sure I have the correct Greenwich Mean Time for the corresponding time on the daily Custom Planetary Position posts. Scroll down the list below to find the country you live in and the date the time may move ahead for one/1 hour. Not all countries move ahead and in some only part of the country does. Please bear with me as try to keep up with the times changes on the correct date for the Daily Custom Planetary Positions as I get a little confused when the time changes occur twice a year.

Daylight Saving Time (DST) is often referred to as “daylight savings” or “summer time.” When DST is not observed, it is called standard time or winter time.

The list below shows an overview of countries and territories with DST in 2022. For more details, see information for the first half of 2022 and the second half of 2022.

Note: This list may not be final. Sometimes countries, states, and territories make changes announced just days or weeks ahead of the time change.

11 March 2022 Daily Correspondence Digest Southern Hemisphere’s Moon Phase

You can use this link to go forward or backward in time for Moon phase information. If you are curious, you can even find out what phase the Moon was in when you or anyone else was born.

From Moongiant.com

Today and tonight the Moon will be in a Waxing Gibbous phase. This phase is when the moon is more than 50% illuminated but not yet a Full Moon. The phase lasts about 7 days with the moon becoming more illuminated each day until the Full Moon. During a Waxing Gibbous the moon rises in the east in mid-afternoon and is high in the eastern sky at sunset. The moon is then visible through most of the night sky setting a few hours before sunrise. The word Gibbous first appeared in the 14th century and has its roots in the Latin word “gibbosus” meaning humpbacked.

Visit the March 2022 Moon Phases Calendar to see all the daily moon phase for this month.

Today’s Waxing Gibbous Phase

The Waxing Gibbous on March 11 has an illumination of 60%. This is the percentage of the Moon illuminated by the Sun. The illumination is constantly changing and can vary up to 10% a day. On March 11 the Moon is 8.32 days old. This refers to how many days it has been since the last New Moon. It takes 29.53 days for the Moon to orbit the Earth and go through the lunar cycle of all 8 Moon phases.

The 8 Lunar Phases

There are 8 lunar phases the Moon goes through in its 29.53 days lunar cycle. The 4 major Moon phases are Full Moon, New Moon, First Quarter and Last Quarter. Between these major phases, there are 4 minor ones: the Waxing Crescent, Waxing Gibbous, Waning Gibbous and Waning Crescent. For more info on the Moon Cycle and on each phase check out Wikipedia Lunar Phase page.

2 March 2022 Daily Correspondence Digest for the Southern Hemisphere’s Moon Phase and Planetary Positions

I am sorry for posting the incorrect moon phase for 2 March 2022. This is now the correct phase for this date.

You can use this link to go forward or backward in time for Moon phase information. If you are curious, you can even find out what phase the Moon was in when you or anyone else was born.

From Moongiant.com

The Moon’s current phase for today and tonight is a New Moon phase. During this phase the Moon is too close to the sun in the sky to be visible. The moon rises and sets with the sun and is not present in the night sky. Because of this the night sky is darker and an excellent time to view other celestial objects. Like the Full Moon, a New Moon happens at a very specific time when the sun and moon have the same ecliptic longitude and it can be measured down to the second it occurs.

Visit the March 2022 Moon Phases Calendar to see all the daily moon phase for this month.

Today’s New Moon Phase

The New Moon on March 2 has an illumination of 0%. This is the percentage of the Moon illuminated by the Sun. The illumination is constantly changing and can vary up to 10% a day. On March 2 the Moon is 29.28 days old. This refers to how many days it has been since the last New Moon. It takes 29.53 days for the Moon to orbit the Earth and go through the lunar cycle of all 8 Moon phases.

All The Astrological Events Happening In March 2022

With two long months of 2022 under our belt, the fresh-faced feeling of New Year’s feels like a distant memory. However, the astrology of March 2022 is ripe with new beginnings and the hopeful energy of springtime. February’s planetary happenings plunged us into the depths of feelings-focused Pisces season and brought about the intense peak of the United States’ Pluto return. But between a cleansing full moon, the astrological new year, and a rare retrograde-free chunk of time, the astrological events in March might feel even more magical.

We’re kicking off the astrology of March 2022 under an emotional new moon in Pisces, which rises on March 2. This lunation brings us a beautiful chance to manifest and get spiritual — and that is very much in tune with the themes of Pisces season on the whole, which we’re swimming through until March 20. Once Aries season begins on the day of the spring equinox, it’ll officially be spring, and we’ll be celebrating the astrological new year, too. Think of this as your second chance to set New Year’s intentions! Lover planets Venus and Mars will be traveling alongside each other all month, inspiring us to break out of our usual boxes in love and embrace some passionate and pleasurable new beginnings.

As the cherry on top of a busy astrological period, March is the only full month of 2022 during which no major planets will be retrograde — so we can enjoy a forward-facing energetic flow, without too many cosmic interruptions. This backspin-free spell lasts through Apr. 29, which is when Pluto retrograde begins and launches us back into retrograde season. With the renewed energy of spring on our side and exactly zero retrogrades standing in our way, we can enjoy a sense of ease when it comes to making progress, pushing forward on plans, and looking toward the future.

Read on for all the must-know astrological events in March 2022.

March Will Be A Retrograde-Free Month

If you’re a student of astrology, then you know all about the dreaded retrograde. Although not every planetary retrograde is an inherently difficult experience, some retrogrades — *cough* Mercury *cough* — have a way of getting under your skin. As a planet stations retrograde, it begins to slow down in its usual trajectory through the zodiac before it finally appears to be moving backward, retracing its steps across the degrees it just passed over. When this happens, it can kick up drama from the past and make it harder to focus on the future. And if you’re wondering which planets will retrograde during March 2022, you needn’t worry, because you’ll like the answer.

Drum roll, please? This month is filled with good juju, because there will be no planetary retrogrades to speak of. However, even if there were, it would be no big deal. After all, retrogrades are a part of life, because that’s just how astrology (and astronomy) works. In fact, a lot of the time, a retrograde can actually be a positive experience. If a retrograde takes place in one of the outer planets — aka Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, or Pluto — it’s not usually a noticeable transit, because these planets are already retrograde around half of the time.

However, if a retrograde takes place in one of the inner planets — aka Mercury, Venus, or Mars — it tends to be a more dramatic experience. After all, these planets deal with your day-to-day life and they span anywhere from a brutal few weeks to a strange couple of months, making these retrogrades far more turbulent.

Either way, you have nothing to worry about, because the astrological forecast for the month of March says that you have absolutely no retrograde planets on your radar. And …

23 February 2022 Daily Correspondence Digest for the Southern Hemisphere’s Moon Phase and Planetary Positions

You can use this link to go forward or backward in time for Moon phase information. If you are curious, you can even find out what phase the Moon was in when you or anyone else was born.

From Moongiant.com

Today and tonight the Moon will be in a Third Quarter phase. Sometimes called a Last Quarter Moon, this phase occurs roughly 3 weeks after the New Moon when the Moon is three quarter of the way through it’s orbit around the earth. If you live in the northern hemisphere the Moons left side will be illuminated and the right side will be dark. For those of you in the southern hemisphere it will be the opposite with the right side illuminated. On the day of the Third Quarter phase the Moon will rise around midnight on the eastern horizon and set in the west around noon the next day. In the days following the Third Quarter Phase the Moon’s illumination will decrees each day until the New Moon.

Visit the February 2022 Moon Phases Calendar to see all the daily moon phase for this month.

Today’s Last Quarter Phase

The Last Quarter on February 23 has an illumination of 55%. This is the percentage of the Moon illuminated by the Sun. The illumination is constantly changing and can vary up to 10% a day. On February 23 the Moon is 21.68 days old.
