How’s my dear friends doing today? I hope fine. I have the sun is shining and your spirit is soaring. And I hope you are excited about our Blessed Sabbat that is coming, Yule. I know this year I am very excited about Yule. Or perhaps, I just forget how excited I was last. So I think I am more excited the next year. But I will be so glad when Yule gets here. I was going to mention this when Samhain was on the way but I didn’t. I think it is time to let the magick flow on this blog.  Now I know you are wondering what I am talking about. I think everyone knows that we have the chatbox down on the right-hand side. I was thinking on the night of Yule, doing a simple ritual or blessing. It wouldn’t be anything complicated nor would it be anything to make you uncomfortable. All you would have to do is answer every now and then with a “So Mote It Be” or a “Blessed Be.”

 

 We had an online ritual in the old group. You could feel the ower moving through the computer screen. It was an unbelievable experience. Since then, I have always wanted to do another one. If there is enough people interested, I will get a regular chatroom somewhere. That chatbox on the box you can harder read, I might do it anyway. Well there something to chew over! Think about it and let me hear from you. I would love to do another online ritual.

 Success in Finding a Job

 When you submit a job application, manuscript for publication, or anything that requires paper there are several things that you can do, using herbs and crystals as well as some techniques based on ancient beliefs. One or all of the parts of the techniques can be used, but first you must make your combined incense and dressing powder base 

You Will Need:

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground lemon balm
  • Few drops of bergamot oil
  • Bowl

The Spell:

  • Mix all the ingredients together in the bowl.
  • For a dressing powder add a carrier such as powdered chalk or talcum powder which should be unscented.
  • To use as incense leave it as it is, and burn it on a charcoal disc in a heatproof burner.
  • FOR THE SPELL PROPER- YOU WILL NEED
  • Your papers (application form etc) Any supporting documents (e.g. your CV, covering letter) METHOD
  • Light your incense
  • Before you begin writing or filling in your forms smoke the paper on which you will write. This consists of wafting the required amount of paper or the application form in the incense smoke and asking a blessing for the process you are about to start.
  • You may wish to place a crystal on your desk to help in the writing or you could place it on or near your printer.
  • You might use tigers eye for clearer thinking or tourmaline to attract goodwill. Be guided by your own intuition.
  • Once you have completed the forms or the writing you can dress each page individually.
  • On the back of each page sprinkle the dressing powder
  • Draw your four fingers through the powder in wavy lines from top to bottom so they leave very clear tracks.
  • Leave for a few moments, then shake off the powder, all the while visualizing the success of your project.
  • Finally, you can leave the papers in front of the image of your chosen deity if you have one, or offer them for a blessing overnight When you have done this, you know that you have done as much as you can to ensure success as is humanly possible. It is literally now in the hands of the gods. Obviously, you will already have done or will be doing any necessary research into your project on a physical level.

Happy Monday, my dear, wonderful, fantastic friends!

And you are going what the heck does she want? Nothing! I just want to thank you for having patience with me while I redo the blog. I am not finished yet but I must get back to the work that brings you here each day. I will take break at night and work on it some. I can give you an idea of what to expect though. The new blog will still have the same look. I looked and looked for a new huge pic for the top and couldn’t find a thing I liked. Unfortunately, I am a perfectionist. Right now I am not happy with the way the info section looks on the front. But it will have to do till I get through with the dailys. Ok, for the new layout, there are going to be two columns down the side, with a wide section in the middle. One section is going to contain a whole lot of new stuff. There is going to be “The Goddess/God of the Month, Herb of the Month, Crystal of the Month & Saint of the Month.” Each will have a pic and info to go with it. Also I searched till four o’clock this morning and I finally found a moonphase for us. Right now it is sitting down at the bottom of the regular items already on here. But I think it is going to be exciting and it is something I have wanted to do for a while. And more than likely we will be having Goddesses, Herbs, Crystals and the such for just a half a month and then I will change them. I don’t want you to get bored. Well got to run and get busy. Rhodonite: Rhodonite promotes the oxygen flow in the lungs and protects the bronchial tubes and is an excellent stone against Parkinson’s disease, eases changes, against depression, stimulates hearing, bones and lungs, against fear and for self respect. The stone eases pains caused by cramps, irritability without a specific reason, enhances the memory. Rhodonite stimulates personal development and personal insight. In magick this stone is used because of its peaceful vibrations and to see things in perspective.
 
Onyx: Onyx is a powerful grounding stone. Against accidents, deafness and ringing ears, promotes hearing, listening and concentration, makes one serious and strengthens ones sense of reality. Against skin disorders, suppurating wounds, heart disease, strengthens the eyes, the hair, skin, gives the skin a positive glow, gives perseverance, against blocked circulation and for heart, stomach, spleen, nerves, kidneys and weather sensitivity, against sadness and negativity, against high blood pressure, weak heart. Promotes a good energy flow in the body, against respiratory illnesses especially tuberculosis. Promotes seriousness, gives meekness and perseverance, controls passion and calms. Onyx is a protection stone, it protects against negative influences, but also against astral attacks and all negativity. This stone suppresses sexual impulses, for most people this is not a good idea, because sex is a natural release and part of life. But for those whose sexual impulses are too strong this stone is suitable. Sexual impulses can be brought on by stones like i.e: Diamond, a small Diamond set in Onyx symbolizes the control over ones sexual nature.

The Colour Yellow: Yellow is the colour that is connected to the Solar Plexus, it is a protective colour, but also the symbol of warmth, joy and wisdom. In colour therapy the colour yellow is used to stimulate the brain, break through mental blockages, yellow is a laxative and diuretic. It is used in case of depression, diabetes, impotence, bladder problems, diseases of the kidneys, gallbladder and liver . This colour gives one courage and self confidence. In magick yellow is used for divination, attraction, astral projection and to enhance spiritual wisdom and power.
