Banish Bad Memories

Banish Bad Memories

You will need

Yellow candles

Kamea of sol

A box of any shape, or size

A solar incense

Optional: Music of a childlike nature (may enhance atmosphere)

This is a rite is used to rid oneself of potentially damaging block, or denied memories- “The premise for this rite is that we all have blocked memories in ourselves, that we either won’t, or can’t face.

They may include everything from being teased at school by our ‘friends’ to emotional, physical, or mental abuse by parents, loved ones, etc.

The purpose of this rite is to draw these hidden memories up into a closed box, open it in a manner similar to the Pandora myth, and meet, greet, and make peace with the memories, as they can be very detrimental to one’s ego growth if kept hidden.

Instead of finding hope in our boxes though, we will find acceptance, and peace with oneself, and one’s past. “

This rite is good for anyone, even those who assume they have had perfect childhoods.

You don’t always realize the past is dragging you down until it is too late, and you would be amazed by what you can find out about yourself!

Preparation

The box should have a lid. Paint the inside glossy black, or line it with an irregular reflective surface, such as aluminium foil.

The outside should be decorated with any drawings, pictures, or whatever one may want to help evoke a childlike state of mind, and to help trigger childhood memories.

Start with an opening of any sort you feel comfortable with. Light candles and incense as desired.

State the intent:

“It is my will to greet my past, and accept it for what it is. “

Recite the invocation:

“I call the past to meet the present,
that the future may be bright.
I bring myself forth from the dark,
and hold me to the light.
Let not the past control my present,
let not my future be dark as night.
I meet and greet me with open arms,
and move back into the light. “

At this point, one person sits in the centre of the group with their box, keeping it closed.

She focuses on the box while the rest of the participants circle around, teasing, insulting, degrading her.

At this point, the teasing should not be too personal.

When she reaches gnosis, she opens the box, and gazes inside, seeing whatever she sees.

At this point, the taunting should reach a more personal, and vicious attitude.

This continues until they close their box again.

The box then is dealt with in whatever manner she sees fit.

It can be destroyed, left open in a spot of sunlight, kept for future uses, as it may be a good idea to do this more than once.

When the first person is finished, another takes her place, until the entire group has a turn.

Banish by laughter and embraces.

A STONE BANISHING SPELL

pent

A STONE BANISHING SPELL

To be rid of diseases, unhealthy habits, hurt feelings and any other disturbing manifestations
of life, hold any stone in your projective hand and visualize the problem in detail.

Visualize the part of you that is to be banished as entering the stone. See the problem and its
causes leaving you and infusing the stone.

When you can send no more energy into it, throw the stone onto a hot fire, throwing with it the causes and manifestations of your problem. Stand back the stone may explode.

If you have no fire or don’t wish to have rocks exploding, throw the stone into the air or into water, thereby releasing the problem causing energy from your body. It is done.

You will need:
–poppet made out of green cloth, leave the head open chamomile for money
–rosemary for luck basil for success needle and thread

Directional elementals (earth, incense for air, fire, water)

Casting the Circle

As you walk around the circle three times, imagine a green, soothing mist trailing from your fingers, enveloping you and enclosing your magic circle.

“I conjure the magic circle I am safe within the Goddess’ womb A sacred place, a world apart Where enchantment births and magic starts With Air and Fire, Water and Earth I circle round the Mother’s girth This circle is sealed”

Drawing Down the Moon: Stand holding your athame, legs slightly apart, arms at your side.
Breathe deeply. Raise the athame to your lips, holding it with both hands, and then point it toward the moon. Feel the energy of the moon move through the athame, down your arms and into your whole being.

Invocation to the Goddess:

“Wondrous Lady of the Moon Mistress of all magic and protectress of all Wicca Life-giving mother I greet you at the waxing of the moon’s power I invite you to attend my Full Moon rite”

Invocation to the God:

“Radiant King of the Heavens Master of beasts wild and free Horned stag I greet you at the waxing of the moon’s power I invite you to attend my Full Moon rite”

Meditation and Chant to the Goddess: Sit with your spine straight, legs crossed, hands in your lap. Close your eyes and visualize the Goddess, however she appears to you. Feel her arms around you in
a protective embrace. When you have the vision firmly planted, begin chanting softly:

“Starry Goddess, Full of Light I honor you this Full Moon Night” Repeat, feeling your energy grow. This energy will be used during the following spellworking.

Spellworking: Cleanse and consecrate poppet for workings of magic. Stuff it with the herbs. Sew the opening closed.

“Goddess of Opportunity Bring good things in life to me I’ll be alert to all you send Goddess be my helpful friend” Repeat 3 times, envisioning the opportunities you wish to come to you.

Reverse Lunar Draw: Raise the athame to the moon, then bring it to your lips and back down to your side, releasing the energy you built during the Drawing. Thank the Goddess and God. Release the Circle. Walk back around the circle, pulling the mist back into your hands. Place the poppet in your closet, your car, your handbag or somewhere else close to you. You can re-work this spell at the next full moon if you feel it’s necessary. Good things will soon come.

pent

TO BIND AN ENEMY

Items You Will Need:
A poppet to represent the person you wish to bind
Patchouli leaves
Frankincense
Charcoal block
Black candle
Red ribbon
White cloth
Make a poppet to represent the person you wish to bind. Burn patchouli leaves and frankincense on a charcoal block. Light a black candle and pass the poppet through the incense smoke saying:

“Hecate, great Goddess of life and death,
I ask you to acknowledge that this
Creation of cloth be known as
Flesh and blood of (name).”

Wrap the poppet tightly in red ribbon, paying close attention to the area you wish to bind, i.e.: the genitals of a rapist, the mouth of a slanderer. As you wrap, say:

“Between the worlds in Hecate’s eyes
you (name) are bound powerless.
In the eyes of this world, you are harmless.”

Imagine a heavy net made from a white light. Imagine the net clinging to the poppet. Wrap it in a piece of white cloth and bury it close to the person’s house (or by the ocean and bid the sea to bless it).

Blessing the Boundaries of Your Home Ritual

pent

Blessing the Boundaries of Your Home Ritual

Everyone has land boundaries, whether a house with lands or an apartment. These boundaries need to be respected and protected. By blessing them, you can strengthen your protection against intruders of all kinds; unwanted and unwelcome visitors, stalkers, burglars, noisy neighbors, intruding religious peddlers, and sales people!

If you can, or feel brave enough to walk the boundaries of your property great, if you live in an apartment and you feel your ritual may be noticed, walk through every room of your house.

OUTSIDE:

If you can walk the boundaries outside, take a bowl of white cornmeal. Hold it up to the Sun or Moon and ask the Gods/Goddess to bless it for you. Beginning to the left of your entrance move clockwise, lightly sprinkling the cornmeal as you go. Chant:

Blessings and honor to all who guard my boundaries
Blessings and thanks for your help and protection.
May my property and dwelling be safe under your care.
I offer you friendship and blessings.

When you come to the starting point, sprinkle some across the entrance path to your home, that will act as a double barrier.

It is helpful to build a shrine or home for your guardians by the door. It can be anything from a potted plant, a shrub, a collection of stones it encourages the guardians to stay in full view of your home. Just make sure you attend to their home, never let it get cluttered with leaves and such, for you could offend them by your forgetfulness.

INSIDE:

Bless the cornmeal just the same, and then from the doorway of your apartment, begin with each room to the left if possible, if not, trace each room beginning from the left of each door. Some just do the outer perimeters of the apartment (if yours is that big), Go to each room repeating the chant as above and when you come back to the main entrance, sprinkle some of the cornmeal on the threshold of the door. Inside the door, keep a potted plant or a gathering of rocks on a table or ledge so they will have a place to reside.

Household Protectors Ritual

pent

Household Protectors Ritual

Everyone has a protector, individual and family collective. If you think you don’t get help from yours, perhaps you need to give them a little more attention and praise. Use statues, bowls of stones, or other focal objects as a habitation for the family protectors.

This ritual is best during the waxing moon. Gather the following objects on your altar. Choose incense that reminds you of herbs, forests, and green growing things. Put a green candle in a holder and lay your wand beside it.

Decorate the immediate area around your symbol with pine cones, small statues of deer or other forest animals, ivy, holly, or something similar. Clean the guardian symbol so it hasn’t any dust or dirt on it. If the symbol is small enough set it on the altar or next to it.

Light the incense and candle. Stand before your altar and say:

Guardian spirits, I invite you to join me here at this altar.
You are my friends, ,and I wish to thank you.

Take the incense and circle the guardian symbol three times, moving clockwise.

I thank you for the atmosphere you help to keep clean and pleasant in this home.

Move the candle clockwise around the symbol three times.

I thank you for the light you send to purify and dispel the darkness.

With the wand in your power hand, encircle the symbol three times clockwise.

I ask for your continued help and protection for me, my family, my pets, and my property. I ask that you drive away trouble-makers, thieves, and other, physical and non-physical, who are bent on evil disruptive purposes. I thank you for your friendship and love.

Stand with your arms raised and say:

Lovely Goddess, Lord of the Greenwood, I present to you the guardian of this house, the special spirit I have invited into my home. I honor this guardian in this symbol of its being. Bless this guardian. And to your blessings, I add my thanks for its protection and friendship.

If you have more than one guardian, change all the its to their and so on. Spend a few moments lovingly caressing the symbol, mentally expressing that the guardian is important to you. If you have provided food and drink, invite your guardian friends to party with you. Talk with them, being sensitive to feathery caresses and mental whispers. When you are finished, thank them for their presence at your ritual.

The WItches Magick for Tuesday, August 9th – A Spell for Personal Empowerment

wiccan's inner sanctum(sp)~GP
A Spell for Personal Empowerment

This spell requires no tools except the belief that magick works— and that it can work for you. This spell can be done quickly and can be done anywhere— not just as you’re waking up in the morning. The most important ingredients are the vividness with which you visualize the end result and the intensity of the emotion behind your desire.

As you’re waking up in the morning, before your eyes open, when you’re still in that drowsy state halfway between dreams and full consciousness, visualize whatever it is that you desire. Then say it silently to yourself.

Maybe your desire is to ace an exam. Visualize it as vividly as possible, a big red A at the top of your exam sheet. Pour emotion into it. Imagine how excited you’ll be when you see the A. Then say, “I ace my exam.” Again, put emotion behind the statement.

When you’ve done this with great vividness and backed it with emotion, then get out of bed and forget about it. Release the desire. Assuming that you’ve done your part to get an A on the exam (studied or otherwise prepared yourself), you should get an A.

The Witches Magick for Monday, August 8th – A Simple But Effective Candle Curse

Summer Fantasy Dream's...blue love
A Simple But Effective Candle Curse

You will need:
Two candles
A needle

Take a candle, preferably black or red. With a needle, write the name of the person you’re cursing. Take that same needle and burn the tip of it in the flame of another candle.

Once the tip is black, imagine the person you are cursing and stab the candle with their name in it. How many times you stab the candle is up to you. I usually choose 23, since it’s a number sacred to Eris.

When your candle is sufficiently stabbed, light it and focus on your curse’s intention. For instance, if someone has stolen from you, your intention could be that they would experience an equal theft.

Let the candle fully melt. You don’t want to reuse this one.

Song of the Witch

Will you be of Wicca, tonight?
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
Then come with me to the Circle of Light.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Take up these herbs and brew up a tea.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
And drink it all down; the gods you shall see.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Take up the glass, and look at your face.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
Go into yourself and find a new place.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Go to the Woods, and find an Oak tree.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
And cling to it tight, and strong you shall be.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Go to the Mountains and call to the Wind.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
And fly through the Air with the Thoughts that you send.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Fly to the Sun, and touch its bright Flame.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
Open your Mind; now choose a new Name.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Go to the Sea, and call to the Moon.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
Raise up your arms, then sing out Her tune.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Now join your hands with Those who surround.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
Now share the Power that we send around.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

We shall part, but meet again soon.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
To dance, and sing, and Call Down the Moon.
Bend the Will, the Wish you shall find.

101 Essential Oil Uses – Natural Remedies for Home

Essential oils have been used for thousands of years in various cultures for medicinal and health purposes. Essential oil uses range from aromatherapy, household cleaning products, personal beauty care, and natural medicine treatments.

Essential oil benefits come from their antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. These healing oils are rapidly growing in popularity because they act as natural medicine without any side effects. Ready to harness the power of the world’s most proven therapeutic compounds?
