Healing: Used as an elixir to increase fertility. Also used to produce strong bones.

Workings: Graphite is associated with the element of Water and its energy is receptive. Its astrological sign is Aries and it vibrates to the number 2. Use for channeling and meditation. Gypsum is called the “Good Luck” stone and is used in workings of prosperity.

Chakra Applications: Use Selenite (clear gypsum) to energize the chakras. Helps one to connect with the Heart chakra.

Foot Notes: Gypsum is one of the more common minerals in sedimentary environments. It is a major rock forming mineral that produces massive beds. Selenite is the clear, transparent form of the mineral gypsum. The ancient carving material called alabaster is another variety of gypsum. It is a common mineral and is found in Mexico, Italy, the United States, and throughout the world.
