Tarot Card of the Day
The Sun
December 24th, 2015

What has traditionally been known as the Sun card is about the self — who you are and how you cultivate your personality and character. The earth revolves around the sun to make up one year of a person’s life, a fact we celebrate on our birthday. The Sun card could also be titled “Back to Eden.” The Sun’s radiance is where one’s original nature or unconditioned Being can be encountered in health and safety. The limitations of time and space are stripped away; the soul is refreshed and temporarily protected from the chaos outside the garden walls. Under the light of the Sun, Life reclaims its primordial goodness, truth and beauty. If one person is shown on this card, it is usually signifying a human incarnation of the Divine. When two humans are shown, the image is portraying a resolution of the tension between opposites at all levels. It’s as if this card is saying “You can do no wrong — it’s all to the good!”

I’ve been really focused on the moon because of the full moon coming up on Christmas. But it was nice to see this sunny post. Thank you and Happy Holidays!

You are more than welcome, hun. I am glad I could ease your mind. Don’t dwell on the Full Moon on Christmas. It is nothing more than an astrological event that happens about once every 30 years. I will probably drag out the telescope and look at it tomorrow evening. I am a lunar witch for sure. Kick back, relax and enjoy the show. I know our Mother Moon will be beautiful.
Happy Holidays to you,
Lady A

I will definitely be enjoying the moon. Plan to go up on the roof and drink it in!

Thank you! I wish the same for you, just be careful on that roof. Around here, we haven’t seen a Full Moon in so long, I can’t remember this last one we did see. So please keep that thought in mind for us.
Thank you again & Full Moon Blessings to you & yours,
Lady A

I’m in San Francisco. Where are you?

Right in the middle of the Bible Belt, Kentucky. I can see now why you might have to get on the roof to see the moon.

That makes your pagan practice even more important. On the 29th I’m moving to Athens, Georgia. So I’ll be in the belt too!

Moving to Georgia, hum…That might not be so bad. There is a lot of different Traditions down there and I believe they are much more accepting due to that fact. Around here, they have come to accept us. They have figured out we are people too. They don’t bother us, now wait a minute, I will take that back. They get a wild critter in the garage or basement, I am the first one they call. But besides that we haven’t had any trouble with any of them around here. I believe the world is becoming more accepting of us or at least I hope so.
Is it a permanent move to Georgia or just temporary (like job related)?

Glad its working out for you there. I think people are becoming more accepting in general too. We visited there in October and loved it and bought a house. Things just seemed to fall into place. So I’m really excited about it. There’s a pagan group that meets once a week at a bar there, so I wanna go to that.
