Astrology of Today – September 14, 2015

Summary:
The 17th will bring a few big astro events: Mercury will turn retrograde, Saturn will re-enter Sagittarius, and a Jupiter-Neptune opposition will perfect. Jupiter in opposition to Neptune has its effects in some ways all month, but particularly this week. We could be going enthusiastically in the direction of Jupiter, only to confront some feelings of not knowing where to begin, face a lack of organization or discipline, or deal with uncertainty inside ourselves or unreliability from others. It’s interesting to note that while Jupiter aspects with outer planets usually perfect three times, this one will come close again in May 2016 but won’t quite make it. It only perfects this once on September 17th. The following are essentially Jupiter opposition Neptune horoscopes for September 2015, and the other events will be explored in coming days.
- The Moon is in Libra all day (until Wednesday, September 16th, at 11:42 AM).
- The Moon is waxing and in its New phase.
- A New Moon/Solar Eclipse occurred yesterday, and a First Quarter Moon will occur on the 21st.
- Venus turned direct on the 6th and is in its post-retrograde shadow until October 9th.
- Mercury is in its pre-retrograde shadow (Mercury will retrograde from September 17-October 9 in Libra).
- Saturn is traveling through the last degree of Scorpio and will enter Sagittarius on September 17th.
