Daily Cosmic Calendar for October 15

This is definitely not your run-of-the-mill lunation. Instead, the New Moon — energizing 23 degrees of Libra at 5:04AM PDT — begins a void lunar cycle that lasts for 12 hours until 5:07PM PDT when the Moon enters Scorpio.  Normally, a New Moon signals a gung-ho, assertive time-period right as it happens. However, in this situation, the universe is handing you an enormous amount of dynamism and asking you to be extra careful and patient for a 12-hour time-span. Meanwhile, before the void lunar uncertainty zone takes hold, Mars and Uranus form a flowing trine in fire signs (3:35AM PDT), but it is questionable whether you can really tap into this firestorm of positive energy.  The major planetary alignment today is actually a frictional, 135-degree link from Jupiter to Saturn (9:57AM PDT). Anytime the two biggest planets in our solar system are at loggerheads, it is difficult to solve large-scale problems and make headway on the career horizon. Plus — this Jupiter-Saturn tussle happens when the Moon is out of sorts. Venus moving into an inspirational, 72-degree link with Ceres (4:49PM PDT) should increase productivity across the board, but it is probably too little too late.  Once the Moon escapes the void-of-course, up-in-the-air condition by entering watery and passionate Scorpio (5:07PM PDT), a whole new energy dynamic can arrive. Don your Sherlock Holmes or Agatha Christie disguise to play the role of amateur detective. Solve family mysteries and ferret out decades-old secrets. It won’t be easy since the Moon unites with limitation-producer Saturn (7:05PM PDT) while the Sun forms a dicey, 45-degree tie with Juno (7:40PM PDT). If you can tweak these last two aspects into giving you a strong sense of logic and reason, as well as strengthening your emotional nature, then you can come through like gangbusters and really make some forward progress.
