This week begins with tough love because on Monday, relationships with parents and bosses are strained. We are forced to deal with balancing what “we want to do” versus what “we should do.” (I hate that.) Self- gratification versus duties and responsibilities. Oy! Things will be depressing and restrictive for many. News in the media will be bleak and we will feel the weight of the world on our shoulders. Fortunately, the rest of the week gets better and better and by Thursday, relationships are hot and sexy! And by Saturday, everyone wants to enjoy the company of old faces! “Natasha!” “Boris!” (“Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine.”)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Your emphasis on money, cash flow and earnings continues to be strong this week. It’s important for you to know that things are better than they actually look. You will attract money and goods to you, so keep the faith. Having said that, during the beginning of the week, you will be disappointed because you might be turned down or you might hear depressing news that impacts your earnings and spending power. Arrrg. Nevertheless, stay strong because as the week unfolds, your financial scene looks better! Therefore, cope as best you can with the chaos and increased activity on the home front. It is what it is. Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You continue to be empowered because it’s your turn to replenish yourself for the rest of the year. You are also attracting favours, gifts and resources to you. Admittedly, this week starts out tough. You might feel discouraged. You might wish you didn’t have to work or deal with certain people. Issues with parents and bosses will be restrictive. But lo! What news from yonder modem breaks? As your week unfolds (not unravels), your mood transforms into feelings of passion and excitement. Romance will be promising! The arts will appeal! By the end of the week, you will be happier enjoying the company of others. Websites must be scoured! Money must be spent!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Your ruler Mercury enters your sign on Monday, which will make you more talkative and able to put a great deal of yourself into whatever you have to say. Your mind will be busy jumping from topic to topic and you will seek new, fresh experiences! Normally, Mercury is in your sign for about two weeks once a year. However, this time, Mercury will be in your sign for 11 weeks! (Whaaat?) Yes! Until Sunday July 11. The reason for this is that Mercury is going to go retrograde in your sign from May 16 to July 8. (The last time this happened was six years ago in 2015.) This is a major deal! Don’t be discouraged at the beginning of the week when life feels tough because this week gets easier and easier as it unfolds.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Your popularity with others and your interaction with groups continues to be strong; nevertheless, someone will oppose you at the beginning of the week. Whatever happens might make you feel discouraged to the point of even changing your future goals. Don’t let this get you down because these difficulties and restrictions will disappear. In fact, someone, perhaps someone creative, artistic or attractive will make things better for you. In some cases, a friend will become a lover. But all of you will feel relieved and happier because of this person. Meanwhile, you are strong and vigourous because fiery Mars is in your sign. “I can do this!”
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You continue to garner the admiration of others because the Sun is still at the top of your chart along with Venus, which is a very favourable influence! Nevertheless, at the beginning of the week, you might be slammed by harsh news or have difficulty dealing with a parent or a boss. This might curtail your plans or create problems. Definitely a bummer. The thing to know is that this is the only tough time this week. Once you deal with this, things will get better and better, and ironically, by the end of the week, your reputation will shine! People will think so highly of you that some of you will begin a romance with your boss or someone “important.”. As for Monday? “Even a hurricane only lasts for a day.”
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You have a take-charge style dealing with others; and you’re eager to study and expand your horizons and share your idea as best you can in these times of Covid restrictions. Nevertheless, as the week begins, rules and regulations or legal matters (possibly something medical) will create difficulties or disappointments. The good news is that once you get over this initial hump, your week gets better and better. Romance with someone different might blossom. You will also have an increasing enjoyment of other cultures and their arts and crafts because you have a stronger appreciation of beauty.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
I recently read that Bruce Lee said, “Don’t speak negatively about yourself even as a joke. Your body doesn’t know the difference. Words are energy and cast spells, that’s why it’s called spelling.” Wise words! Meanwhile, you want to improve yourself; and in your desire to do so, you might be self-critical. Don’t be discouraged about your shortcomings. Cut yourself some slack. Be kind to yourself and remember that you’re doing your best – for today. This week begins with discouraging news about finances, taxes, debt or shared property. But you will handle this! As the week progresses, gifts, goodies and favours will come to you. A fabulous change!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Many of you need more sleep this week and are focused on your closest one-to-one relationships because the Sun is opposite your sign. This happens once a year and when it does, it offers you a chance to gain greater insight into your style of relating to others. However, at the beginning of the week, you might clash with a parent or a boss. You won’t get the approval or permission you want. Your plans might be dashed. You will be discouraged. Fortunately, these feelings lessen to the point that later in the week, relations with others are excellent! This week is a true transformation in that sense. For some of you, a new, passionate romance will begin.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You still want to get better organized, become healthier and work as efficiently as possible. Noble goals! However, this Sunday or Monday, some kind of barrier might hold you back from doing what you want to do. Relations with authority figures will be testy. In addition, your energy will be low and you will feel depressed about the state of the world. More than any other sign, sometimes you need to take a news fast or a break from the media because it’s important for you to maintain your optimism about life. Speaking of which, this week gets better and by the end of the week, everything will fall in place for you.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Although this is a lighthearted time for you, at the beginning of this week, something will discourage you.
