  1. This quote brings me back to when I first dove into witchcraft. Looking back at that time now, I can see just how much my life has changed for the better since then. I was raised under a very strict Catholic household. When I started going to college, I stopped going to church, and a lot of time passed by where I felt sort of hollow. I’m not sure what initially pulled me in, but I am very grateful to have wandered my way to the Path. For me, it was not being told what to believe. Instead, the focus is on experiencing the divine yourself, without the need for someone else to connect with the divine on your behalf. I disliked needing to sit back and hope that a distant God might hear my prayers. Building a relationship with the Divine and the natural world around me has had a profound impact on not only how I see the world, but also how I see myself. I never thought of myself as divine. Witchcraft helped me get in touch with parts of myself that I’ve neglected, and didn’t even know existed. Calling myself a Witch for the first time was truly the most magical moment of my life.
