Weekly Horoscope Sunday, January 12 to Saturday, January 18, 2020
All Signs
Did you know that each sign has rulership over different parts of the body? Capricorn rules the knees; and its ruler Saturn rules the teeth, hair and the skeleton. In the last year, more people have had trouble with their joints, especially their knees, plus problems with their teeth. And bad hair days? Don’t even go there! This is because the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto are all in Capricorn! This week Mercury will leave Capricorn and move into Aquarius, which will help lighten things. (Do you think instead of getting your teeth whitened, it’s easier to get a tan?) Personally, since the holidays, my dental plan has been chewing on the other side.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This heavy emphasis of planets in Capricorn is a mixed blessing for your sign. Because it occurs at the top of your chart, it emboldens you to go after what you want and achieve success, in your professional career or in any walk of life where you interact with society or create an impression on others. This influence is absolutely beneficial for you! Having said that, this same heavy influence is technically at odds with your Aries Sun, which will definitely encourage problems with your bones and your teeth. Stiff joints are par for the course for many of you right now. Because this is a great time to travel – I suggest you explore somewhere warm, sunny and dry! Why not?
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Although this strong emphasis in Capricorn can encourage problems with teeth and bones for your sign, nevertheless, because Capricorn is in your fellow Earth sign, it is basically very supportive to you. This means you actually have more vigour, determination and strength to accomplish whatever it is you want to do. One thing you want to do is travel and explore the world! You also want to get further education and training to learn something useful. Many of you can likewise act on opportunities in publishing, the media, medicine and the law. This month is an excellent time to talk to bosses and VIPs. Maybe you need a raise?
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Like other signs, you too, will feel increased stress in your skeletal structure, joints or anything to do with your teeth, especially in the last year. You won’t have to rely on my dental plan (chewing on the other side) because you can count on financial and practical support from others, as well as indirectly from your partner. As Mercury changes signs this week, you will encounter more chances to travel, learn, study and explore opportunities in publishing and the media. This is actually a good time to do this because Venus is at the top of your chart paving the way for relations with bosses, parents and VIPs. They like you! In fact, for some of you – a romance with a boss could begin.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
All this planetary focus in Capricorn has been challenging for you. Not only has it been challenging for your bones, joints and skeletal structure as well as your teeth in the last year, it’s been challenging for marriages and close partnerships. The thing to keep in mind about Saturn is that it tends to make things look worse than they are. Keep things in perspective. Right now, Venus brings you opportunities to travel and explore romance with someone “different.” In addition, you’re gung ho to work hard because Mars is travelling through your House of Employment. “Hi ho, hi ho, off to work I go!” (Or more appropriately – “I owe, I owe, off to work I go!”)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
For Leo, this heavy focus on Capricorn is a mixed bag! It has been a great boon to you because it has made it easier for you to work hard and accomplish a lot in the last year. Nevertheless, like many others, you might have encountered problems with your hair, and problems with your teeth and your joints (especially your knees) because this Capricorn influence is taking place in your House of Health. Oh yes. What the large print giveth, the small print taketh away. Fortunately, money from other sources will benefit you now. Likewise, your sex drive is amped and intimacy is affectionate.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Like Taurus, you have benefited from this strong planetary influence in Capricorn because for the most part, it has been supportive to you. It will continue to support you both in terms of your career as well as recreation and playful diversions, especially in areas related to the hospitality industry, the entertainment world, vacations and anything you do for fun and pleasure. Venus is opposite your sign now, which will sweeten relations with partners and close friends. In fact, expect a surprise this week because you might meet someone “different.” (You will welcome any diversion to escape the increased chaos at home.)
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This strong planetary influence in Capricorn is not easy for you. Almost definitely, most of you have suffered with teeth problems and joint problems in the last year. (Especially the knees.) Even your hair might have been a source of frustration. Aaggh! Nevertheless, the best way to use this energy is to make home improvements and explore real-estate opportunities, especially this year. Likewise, you can do positive things to solidify family bonds and be supportive to family members. Fortunately, Venus will attract the help of coworkers to you. And with Mars in your House of Communications, you can talk your way into and out of anything! Not too shabby.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This continues to be a fast-paced, busy time for you to take short trips, interact with siblings and daily contacts plus enjoy stimulating diversions. It’s also a great time to take courses and learn something new. In fact, many of you are writing and reading more than usual. Despite the demands, you are also working hard to boost your income and yet – in an almost baffling way – you’re spending time partying and enjoying vacations! This means you are living your life with all six burners turned on high. Learn to pace yourself because no one has infinite energy. Protect your health and take time to restore yourself. Meanwhile, romance swoons dizzily along.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Because your ruler is lucky, moneybags Jupiter, by nature, you look for opportunities to make money and expand your world. It’s who you are. Lately, you are keen to boost your income because at a deeper level, you can see that this is possible this year. And it is! Something will increase your wealth whether it is a better salary or money from a sale or an inheritance — but it will be something. You can count on it. Keep hustling because with Mars in your sign now, you have lots of energy to explore many avenues. Meanwhile, Venus encourages entertaining at home as well as redecorating and making your digs more attractive. It’s all good!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Despite this strong influence of planetary activity in your sign, this week you will feel more serious about life. (Remember to smile in your bathroom mirror.) The reason you’re more serious is you will be giving more thought to your duties and responsibilities. Naturally, this serious influence will in turn, tend to make it more difficult to relate to people, in part, because you feel more isolated or alone. Furthermore, you will feel lower energy. Nevertheless, you will do very well at organizing and planning and creating form and order in your life because this week, the Sun is in your sign lined up with your ruler Saturn. It’s a bit like going to the principal’s office or having to account for yourself with the boss. But you can handle this.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This week Mercury moves into your sign, which means the next few weeks are a great time for you to express your point of view to others. This is because you will put a great deal of yourself into whatever it is you have to say. Ironically, at the same time, your ability to examine yourself with greater objectivity and detachment is superb. (A wonderful combo of influences.) Meanwhile, act on your strong urge to get out and travel, probably for short trips. You will enjoy talking to others and sharing your ideas because you feel mentally alert and confident. And why not? You’re the brainiac of the zodiac! (You were the first to realize that the answer to everything in the universe was 42.)
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
For the most part, this strong planetary activity in Capricorn has been a blessing for you but it has kept you busy! Basically, it has magnified your interactions with friends and groups and made you feel indispensable to others. People want your opinions. People want to talk to you. They will seek out your ideas as well as your company. Now with Venus in your sign, you are even more charming and diplomatic than usual, which means everyone loves you even more! (It’s almost pathetic.) As Mercury changes signs this week, it will enable you to do research and discover answers to old questions or solutions to old problems. Fortunately, with Mars at the top of your chart boosting your ambition – you’re up for it. “The game, Mrs. Hudson, is on!”

Telling ALL Gods and Goddesses Thank You and Redoing the Spell to Bring Rain to Australia to Help Douse the Wildfires
Lady Beltane is down with a major fibromyalgia flare and there is no one available to step in to lead this gathering. I ask you all to do the spell casting part as it is a very simple ritual to do. Thank you.
The is a Nondenominational gathering no matter what type of spiritual path you follow you are welcome to join us and pray to the God or Goddess that you believe in. SO invite a few people to join us to show Australia they are not forgotten by people anywhere in the world.
I received this letter from my right-hand witch, Priestess Hypatia,On January 5, 2020. I felt as so many have asked for the rains to come to Australia to help put out the wildfires that this email should be shared with everyone.
“Hello dearest Lady Beltane,
THE RAINS ARRIVED!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
A Beverage to be Shared with the Gods and Goddesses as an offering for their answering our plea
A Small Snack to be Shared with the Gods and Goddesses as an offering for their answering our plea
1 Tall Glass of Water
Small Outline Map of Australia
Container Big Enough to Hold Map with the Water Pour Over It
RITUAL:
Thanking the Gods and Goddesses for the Rain Falling
LADY BELTANE: I walk this circle in the direction the Sunrises three times to keep those inside the circle safe from harm and to keep the rain energy we raise contained until the circle is open and the rain energy goes to where it is needed most to help put out the wildfires in Australia
EVERYONE: Pick up your beverage and in your own words thank the God and/or Goddess you ask for the rain from, hold the cup high as you conclude you thanks take a sip from your beverage and set it back down. Type in So Mote It Be when done
Pick up your snack and in your own words thank the God and/or Goddess you ask for the rain from hold the snack up high when you conclude these thank yous. Now take a small bite and set it back down. Type in So Mote when you are done. Save the rest of your beverage and snack than go outside to make your offering to all the deities approximately half of your beverage and snack, you should drink and eat the rest outside.
Now we will do a spell/prayer asking for the rains to continue as long as needed
For More Rain
( The intent is to keep in your third eye {middle of your forehead] is to see it rain over the wildfires of Australia but causing no flooding, wash out roads, or any other damage to much rain in one location could cause)
We call upon the ancient Aboriginal God of rain and water
To help douse the wildfires and keep them from spreading any further
We ask that rain only affects the wildfires and does not cause any damage to anything on it is own
We ask that all the people, animals, birds, and reptiles not yet affected by these wildfires escape whole and unharmed
Now get as clear a picture in your mind od the rain helping to put out the wildfires. We will all meditate for 3 minutes on this picture in our minds.
After the 3 minutes or however long you want to meditate on the rain coming to all of Australia say,
Set the container is a safe place where the water will not be spilled. Add more water as needed to keep the map submerged until all the wildfires are completely out. Than turn towards the South ans say, “We send all the energy raised here tonight or morning to the rain clouds over Australia making them larger and more effective at helping to put out the wildfires.” “This is our will for Australia, So Mote It Be” or however you end your own spell work.”
I walk this circle the times in the direction of the setting Sun. The circle is open but never broken. Priestess Hypatia, all the residents, and visitors in Australia thank you for participating in casting this spell for them and all the other living things to be safe and the wildfires to stop growing.

The upcoming Full Moon offers immense transformative potential (times below).
May it bring healing to the planet, to those affected by the Australian bushfires, and to climate change policies that fan the flames.
Tomorrow’s Full Moon is a lunar eclipse, meaning that it is an especially highlighted opportunity to see and clear any blocks that are keeping us stuck and wasting our precious time and energy.
We need you to release these deep subconscious blocks so that you can show up as your best and most alive self, focused, and on mission in a world that urgently needs your presence and care.
Add in other karmic cosmic alignments right now, and this becomes an extra potent time to dismantle funky power imbalances and create new stable, healthy foundations.
So call on the support of this Full Moon. There’s a free guided Full Moon release meditation… do to copyrights I can not add the link from her email.

Humans have a strong affinity for the moon. It’s waxing and waning has formed the basis for calendars across continents and cultures. Almanacs charted full moons so farmers could work by its light. The full moon has been affiliated with harvests, festivals, wolves, and insanity. The very word “lunacy” stems from people’s ideas of mental stability and the moon’s phases. Full moons have captured imaginations across cultures and time, and many cultures have named the various full moons. 2020 is notable in that it will not have twelve full moons, but thirteen. The thirteenth full moon is called a blue moon. About every nineteen years, the opposite occurs, in that February will not have a full moon. This is referred to as a black moon. Each moon of the year has its own name and connotations depending on the season.
January’s full moon is often referred to as the Wolf Moon. It can also be called the Moon after Yule, in reference to the pagan holiday of Yule supplanted by Christmas. The early Catholic Church incorporated pagan holidays into their calendar to help conversion, which is why they coincide with holidays like Yule or solstice celebrations. February’s moon is usually called a Snow Moon since it tends to snow a lot in February. Some Native American tribes call it a Hunger Moon due to scarce food supplies.
March’s full moon is called the Worm Moon to signify the return of earthworms in the winter thaw as the season’s transition. Many names are attributed to March’s moon, such Crow Moon, Sap Moon for maple syrup season, and the old Anglo-Saxon term Lenten Moon. As the name implies, the Lenten Moon is the only full moon to occur during Lent. Continuing the Easter theme, an old Anglo-Saxon term for April’s full moon was Paschal Moon, in reference to the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The more common name for April’s moon in modern times is Pink Moon, as pink phlox flowers bloom that month.
Whereas April’s moon is for one flower, May’s full moon is called the Flower Moon to signify the massive bloom following April’s rainfall. The less romantic but more practical Corn Planting Moon is another name. As mentioned earlier, farmers like full moons because they can work under its light if the sky is clear. June is called the Strawberry Moon as that month is the peak of the season. Mead Moon is another name, as fermenting started earlier in the year to produce a proper drink. Continuing the new season’s growth, July is often called Buck Moon because male deer’s antlers start growing around this time. Since July often has many thunderstorms, Thunder Moon is another term for July’s full moon.
August, the last full month of summer, has many names related to food and bounty. The Algonquin tribes called it Sturgeon Moon as the lakes filled with fish. The Anglo-Saxons called it the Grain Moon, and some called it the Barley Moon or Green Corn Moon. The importance of the harvest and it’s relation to the moons grows stronger in the autumn. September’s moon is called the Corn Moon, though the Farmer’s Almanac used to refer to it as the Harvest Moon based on the Anglo-Saxon term.
In modern times, the Harvest Moon is in October, and in fact this happens every three years because the Harvest Moon is based on the equinox, not the calendar. Hunter’s Moon is the term for October’s full moon otherwise, since it’s prime hunting season and the time when northern peoples would stock up on meat for the winter. In 2020, the Blue Moon will occur on Halloween, making it even more extraordinary for moon fans.
To end the year, November is often called the Beaver Moon as beavers tend to be the most active in that month. It can also be called the Frost Moon since frost starts to form at night. If November’s full moon is the last before the winter solstice, it is called the Mourning Moon. Winter is often considered a season of death due to the migration of wildlife and trees bereft of leaves. December is aptly called the Cold Moon since winter starts in that month. The Anglo-Saxons once called the full moon the Moon before Yule, in reference to the holiday occurring around the winter solstice as mentioned before. It can also be called the Oak Moon, though this term can also apply to November. Either way, the history of the full moon’s names is long and spans many cultures and traditions.

JANUARY FULL MOON
The very first full moon of the year is known in many cultures as the Full Wolf Moon, which is appropriate given the deep, ancient ties between wolves and January’s full moon. For instance, the Gaelic word for January, Faoilleach, comes from the term for wolves, faol-chù, even though wolves haven’t existed in Scotland for centuries. The Saxon word for January is Wulf-monath, or Wolf Month. Meanwhile, the festival of the Japanese wolf god, Ooguchi Magami, is held in January. The Seneca tribe links the wolf so strongly to the moon, they believe that a wolf gave birth to the moon by singing it into the sky. Just why are wolves so strongly associated with January’s full moon?

The most obvious answer is because wolves are much louder and more noticeable in January, which is when breeding season begins. Wolves begin to howl more frequently and aggressively to establish their territory, threatening neighbors and enemies alike to stay far away from their breeding grounds. A small pack of wolves may even try to make themselves seem like a larger pack by howling together. While a lone wolf can sustain a howl for the duration of a single breath, an entire pack may howl in unison for longer than two minutes during breeding season.
While it makes sense for the haunting howls of wolves to be more memorable during January, how did wolves come to be associated with the full moon itself? Everyone is familiar with the iconic image of a wolf raising its head and howling at the full moon – but do wolves actually sing to the moon? While that might be a romantic idea, there’s no scientific evidence that links wolves to the lunar cycle. Humans may have begun to associate wolves with the moon simpy because they are nocturnal animals that are very active at night. In addition, wolves do raise their heads in the direction of the sky so their howls can travel over far distances to reach their pack mates as they roam. Instead of singing to the moon, they’re actually singing to their friends.
In fact, wolves are so well-known for their tight-knit communities that the Sioux tribe called January’s full moon the Moon Where Wolves Run Together. The wolf is often seen as a symbol of loyalty and protection in many cultures. The Wolf Moon is the perfect time for you to reach out to loved ones and reaffirm your connections, in preparation for deepening your bonds and taking on new challenges together over the upcoming year.
That said, lone wolves are also entirely capable of overcoming hostile conditions on their own with their resourcefulness. According to Celtic mythology, the wolf is infused with lunar power, which refers to its ability to sniff out hidden insights or knowledge, and to detect unexpected sources of danger. In some legends, the wolf even swallows the sun so the wolf can bask in the moon’s overflowing lunar power! The Full Wolf Moon is a great time for you to plan out clever ways to achieve your goals for the upcoming year. Trust your wolfish instincts when it comes to decisions, but also be tenacious in searching for useful knowledge that will help you realize your masterplan.
