Hold onto me, Goddess,
hold me now when I am too weak to hold onto you.
Hold my soul close before I am lost.
Give me eyes to gaze into the eye of those who see me.
Protect me from the angry lips of oppression.
My path and my portion hold me securely.
This inheritance of life and the web woven between us
Are the fullness of my longing;
I honor you, Goddess, for wisdom entrusted,
And I set myself to sinking deep into that ground
So that I am rooted and unshakable.
Keep your beauty always before me
In you I am secure;
Therefore, will joy flow from my heart
And song rise from my soul.
I will dance held in the sacred circle.
For you will never forsake me
Nor will you leave me alone in despair.
You are the source of my life,
The source of my joy,
And the fulfillment of all my desire.
