The Beginning of Duir (Oak Month)
According to Celtic tradition, this is the beginning of Duir, the month of the oak. The oak is the most scared tree of the Druids and a symbol of life at its peak. This is time of empowerment, as Duir signifies the door of the year that opens to admit all good things. This is a good time to hug a tree in appreciation for the abundance of light and life Mother Earth has provided.
