June 8 – Daily Feast

If you need something and you have asked for it, then get ready to receive it. Getting ready to receive is a part of the asking, an act of faith that the answer is on its way. It’s no wonder that so few of our needs are met. We do so little toward preparing for it, and when it happens the first thing we say is, “I can’t believe it!” Well, believe it, because it is assurance of receiving.
