How To Practice Automatic Writing

Right Hand / Left Hand Exercise

This divination automatic writing technique bypasses ego and mind chatter and allows us to tap directly into our intuitive capabilities to get answers to our questions. It is also a useful technique for understanding our true feelings or need to make a decision.

Take a sheet of paper and draw a straight line the length of the paper from the top to bottom dividing the page into two columns. Or, if you like, use paper from a steno pad.

With your dominant hand (the one you use most often) write your question in the corresponding column (ex., right hand, right column). Immediately, without thinking about it, switch the pen to your non-dominant hand and write the answer in the other column (ex., left hand/left column).

Automatic writing is a form of channeling to glean answers or information. It is a way of tapping into spirit or inner knowledge. Communicating with guides or angels, or exploring the akashic library can be done via dreamwork. meditation, and other spiritual or divination practices
