Blessings

The sun is setting
I prepare for my blessing
I have gathered my candles and
they soon will be lit
My altar is dressed and flowers
placed
My words swirl in my mind and
heart
There is a breeze to carry my
prayers to those in need
The energy comes from my Sisters
and the Goddess
It is a good night to do work

So it starts…

I stand in the rays of the moon
I call on the Goddess
I ask for her presence
I ask for her Blessing
She stands before me
I am humbled by her light
My heart swells with her love
I know I am safe

She knows me
She knows my prayers
She knows my heart
She will guide my life

For I am the daughter of the Goddess
