Specific Gravity: 2.56 – 2.66 Chemistry: NaAISiO4

Class: Feldspathoids

Crystallography: monoclinic

Cleavage: poor

Fracture: conchoidal

Streak: white

Luster: greasy

Healing: Use nepheline for reducing tension and for calming children.

Workings: Place nepheline under your pillow to dispel nightmares. Astrological sign is Scorpio and it vibrates to the number 7.

Chakra Applications: Use nepheline to align the Base chakra, Sacral chakra, Solar Plexus chakra and the Heart chakra.
