Astrology of Today – June 5, 2015

Summary:

A Mars-Jupiter sextile points to opportunity, enthusiasm (especially about ideas), and enterprise, and a Sun-Pluto quincunx suggests a conundrum or lingering worry. We are also moving towards a Venus-Saturn trine which is influencing the latter part of today, which can bring us down to earth in a pleasant way.

Venus enters Leo today and will transit Leo until July 18th. Venus will return to Leo again from July 31-October 8. This is due to its upcoming retrograde – Venus will enter Virgo on July 18th, not even reach the one degree mark of the sign before it turns retrograde on July 25th, and then will re-enter Leo on July 31st. Venus turns direct at just under the mid-degree of Leo on September 6th, and will complete its transit of Leo on October 8th.

The Moon is in Capricorn all day (until Saturday, June 6th, at 1:01 AM).
The Moon is void from 11:32 AM forward (until tomorrow at 1:01 AM).
The Moon is waning and in its Full Moon phase.
Venus enters Leo today (Venus transits Leo from June 5-July 18, and then from July 31-October 8).
Mercury is retrograde. (Mercury is retrograde from May 18 to June 11 in the sign of Gemini).
