OPENING SPELL
You will need two candles— one that represents you and one that represents your lover, rose-scented oil, and your lover. Select the two candles based on your birthdays as follows: Aires (red), Taurus (green), Gemini (gold), Cancer (silver), Leo (orange), Virgo (pink), Libra (white), Scorpio (red), Sagittarius (blue), Capricorn (purple), Aquarius (any color), Pisces (blue). Dress the candles with a thin coat of rose oil.
At 11: 11 p.m., anoint each other slowly with the oil, and wipe any remaining oil from your hands. Have your lover light his or her candle, and then light yours from the flame. Put the candles side by side on your altar. Merge with the divine, and say to your lover:
With this flame
I open my heart to you
I open my mind to you
I open my spirit to you
I open my body to you
Our love is boldly awakened
And I bask in your loving light
I feel your hot, passionate love flowing in and out
Flowing through me, around me, above and below me.
From oil to candle, our love does flow
As I will, make it so!
Have your lover repeat the incantation to you, and just let nature take its course. Open up to one another. Allow the candles to safely burn down.
