Daily Cosmic Calendar for Tuesday, May 20th

This is a good point in the calendar to remind you that solar and planetary cycles on one day don’t completely disappear the day after. Thus, yesterday’s main alignments — including Mars motionless and shifting from reverse to direct — are still rippling through the ethers, although more from beneath the surface of consciousness than wide out in the open. The Sun — almost ready to leave earthy Taurus for airy Gemini (8:00PM) — attempts to provide a large dose of healing across the board via an inspirational, 72-degree liaison with Chiron (3:03AM). The Moon in Aquarius making a supportive, 60-degree tie with Venus in Aries (1:07PM) and a flowing trine of 120-degrees with Mercury in Gemini (3:22PM) try to ameliorate some of Monday’s psychic storms. However, the Moon-Mercury connection also begins a void lunar cycle that lasts until 5:19AM tomorrow. It doesn’t help that the Sun and Pluto form a frictional contra-parallel (6:07PM) and that the Sun makes an abrasive, 45-degree contact with often irascible, unpredictable Uranus (9:07PM). Do everything in your power to make the solar entry into Gemini (8:00PM) happy and cheerful since the overall vibrations coming from two of the three outer planets are far from soothing. [Note to readers: All times are calculated for Pacific Daylight Time. Be sure to adjust all times according to your own local time so the alignments noted above will be exact for your location.]
