Daily Cosmic Calendar for January 9th

After three fairly intense days of numerous sky patterns putting their collective stamp on humanity, the universe enters a more quiescent state of affairs. As mentioned in yesterday’s calendar entry, the Moon in Sagittarius — while providing an ebullient emotional backdrop for your typical social activities — is in void mode until 12:55AM PST tomorrow.  You can still be productive in your favorite hobbies as the Moon makes a polarity to Ceres (12:07PM PST). There may be a tendency to overdo a good thing as the Moon forms a contra-parallel with Jupiter (2:06PM PST).  Today’s main event is a supportive, 60-degree rapport between Venus in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces (9:46PM PST). Even though the Moon is void, any favorable Venus-Neptune association like this can be a boost for creative expression in the fine or graphic arts. Plus, Neptune is often considered the higher-octave guardian planet to Venus — enhancing their positive linkage.  Be prepared to be super-active tomorrow as the void lunar cycle final ends and the Moon puts on a show by uniting with Venus, Juno and Pluto.
