Discovering The Best of Yourself
We are living at a time in which materialism has almost completely overtaken spiritualism. People have become disconnected from the rest of the world. The world neighbor has been replaced by the phrase the person who lives next door. The homeless are looked upon as an annoying presence that we step over in the street, not as desperate people in need. The old, the sick, and the dying are just a burden on society, so why should we reach out and help them? Unless we change our perception of those less fortunate than ourselves, we are doomed to live in a callous world in which there is no hope for change.
The thing about not being in touch with your spiritual side is that you really don’t know who you are and who you are capable of becoming. There may be aspects of your personality that you have no idea exist, and those aspects maybe important not only to you as an individual, but to the entire world.
We have to understand that the time for change has come. You are the New Age generation that can make a difference in the world. It’s time to step outside the box and inspire those who are not yet stimulated by intellectual curiosity.
