I stopped posting yesterday rather abruptly which I am truly sorry for. See there I go apologizing, lol! Seriously though, we have had some very strong winds around, tree limbs, phone lines, you name it, it has broken, fell or come undone during this. I was sitting right in the middle of the worse ice storms in decades about two years ago. The ice storm knocked out thousands of homes power, cable, telephones. We sit in darkest for eleven days ourself. You don’t realize how much you take the modern conveniences for granted till you don’t have them. I told my husband, I couldn’t imagine how the pioneer people made it. But then again, they weren’t use to the internet, TV with about 500 channels, lights to read by, switch to adjust the heat, did they? I guess the point is, if you aren’t use to it, then you don’t miss it. But they put up temporary lines and have been going back and installing the new, permanent ones. One of the temporary fell yesterday, fell and I just had the rotten luck of being on that circuit. The power didn’t come back on this around 9 last night. I was beginning to panic a little, I kept having flashbacks to the ice storm. Hopefully they will get the permanent wires up and I won’t have to be with internet.
