It would be great to report that everything is coming up roses following last night’s New Moon and many cosmic blessings are manifesting around the world. For example, it is definitely helpful that the Moon approaches Mercury in the early hours — giving a lift for reading, writing and research. Once the clock strikes 4:27AM PDT and the lunar orb and Mercury conjunct in the last degree of Virgo, the Moon begins a short void cycle that lasts until 5:56AM PDT when the Moon enters Libran territory. For the next two days, the lunar impetus is to help humans improve the quality of primary partnerships while also singling out the arts as an area for achievement across the board. However, a monkey wrench is tossed into the proceedings as Mars forms an off-kilter, 150-degree link to giant Jupiter (10:25AM PDT). All of this can create a new wave of goodwill that can neutralize this morning’s Mars-Jupiter downer.
