The end of all living is dying.”. True dat. However, we are also blessed with a myriad of possibilities in this window of time that is given to us to do so many things! A wise teacher once said: “Do not take lightly small good deeds, believing they can hardly help, for drops of water one by one, in time can fill a giant pot.”

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Once again, mixed signals from the celestial heavens are coming your way. The Sun and Retrograde Mercury want you to hide and play things low-key and work alone or behind the scenes. Meanwhile your ruler fiery Mars is at the top of your chart arousing your ambition as never before! However: “Now hear this!” “Now hear this!” This week, fair Venus moves into your Money House of earnings, cash flow and movable possessions. Today the Moon will be in a Waning Crescent phase. In this phase the Moon’s illumination is growing smaller each day until the New Moon. During this phase the Moon is getting closer to the Sun as viewed from Earth and the night side of the Moon is facing the Earth with only a small edge of the Moon being illuminated. This phase is best viewed an hour or 2 before the sunrise and can be quite beautiful if you’re willing to get up early. It can also be a great time to see the features of the Moon’s surface. Along the edge where the illuminated portion meets the dark side, the craters and mountains cast long shadows making them easier to observe with a telescope or binoculars.

All Signs

For the rest of this month and into January, the Sun will be in Capricorn and fiery Mars will be in Scorpio. These are two strong placements in and of themselves; but not only that, these two planets will work together in a mutually beneficial and supportive way that will help everyone. Aries (March 21-April 19)

Today the Moon will be in a Waxing Gibbous phase. This phase is when the moon is more than 50% illuminated but not yet a Full Moon. The phase lasts round 7 days with the moon becoming more illuminated each day until the Full Moon. During a Waxing Gibbous the moon will rise in the east in mid-afternoon and will be high in the eastern sky at sunset. The moon is then visible though most of the night sky setting a few hour before sunrise. The word Gibbous first appeared in the 14th century and has its roots in the Latin word “gibbosus” meaning humpbacked.

Today the Moon will be in a Waxing Crescent Phase. A Waxing Crescent is the first Phase after the New Moon and is a great time to see the features of the moon’s surface. During this phase the Moon can be seen in the wester sky after the sun dips below the horizon at sunset. The moon is close to the sun in the sky and mostly dark except for the right edge of the moon which becomes brighter as the days get closer to the next phase which is a First Quarter with a 50% illumination.
