Your Weekly Karma Forecast: August 26 – September 1, 2018

Weekly Forecast: August 26 – September 1, 2018

The Karmic Tools Weekly Forecast covers the current planetary transits which affect people in different ways and to various degrees of intensity. Take notice when it is a Personal planet (Sun / Moon / Mercury / Venus / Mars) interacting with a Social (Jupiter/Saturn) or Collective planet (Uranus / Neptune/Pluto). And pay extremely close attention when it is a Social planet interacting with a Collective planet because that means something *big* is brewing that will move large groups of people along their evolutionary paths. Tuning in to the energy and rhythm of the planets can serve as a useful *guide* as you move along your Individual Path. It also helps to understand your place within the context of the larger Social & Collective Story. Below, you will find out how these energies tend to manifest, as well as guidance and direction.

*NOTE*  There are some days when there are NO CONTACTS (besides the Moon), please note that there are no missing entries, we just list the actual Activations of each week + the day they happen.

Weekly Forecast: August 26 – September 1, 2018

8/26 ~ Pisces Full Moon:

Annual opportunity to Release any/all *Illusions/Delusions* about who you are or how you’re living. Inner Truth must match Outer Reality, we are always encouraged to be congruent. In other words, my latest observations have been: those who are most in-alignment within & without, those who are living authentic lives, are moving through with a relative amount of ease & grace. Please don’t confuse this with not having any challenges, loss or disappointment, just that navigating and decision-making is a lot easier when you KNOW Who You Are and What You Want … while those who are of a particular Nature within, but living a life completely contrary to that Nature, are getting slammed energetically. It can feel like going to a lavish party, having a great time (Illusion) and then *unexpectedly* receiving the bill (Reality). We are all “paying” for our own *Illusions/Delusions*, to the degree that we each have them. Big illusion – big bill. Small delusion – small price. Either way, you’re accountable so use this Full Moon to truly look at that which is being most brightly illuminated for you personally and use your intuition to guide you.

8/26 ~ Venus (your values) ~square~ Pluto (transformation):

This activation brings intensity and it challenges you to grow (out of comfort zone, into new territory) where your relationships & finances are concerned. You’ve probably already felt it coming (the shift in your relationship or financial situation), well, it’s here now, so you can be proactive on your own behalf or you can suffer the consequences of postponing the inevitable. (You may have heard me say: Pay now or pay double later. That applies to this transit too.) The natural reaction may be to try to hold on to the job or relationship, but try not to give in to that temptation. Pluto intensifies everything and the more you resist the necessary purification & change that Pluto brings, the more painful it usually is. It is better to clarify your values & priorities and choose change, rather than have it forced (more Pluto) upon you. Either way, once the dust settles, you should be better off because things either change for the better or go away altogether making room for something new and more in-alignment with your values & priorities of ‘now’.

8/27 ~ Mars Direct at 28* Capricorn:

It’s a good time to review the last couple of months – to last couple of years. What do you no longer want to be responsible for? What no longer supports the foundation you are cultivating in the here & now? How have things organically shifted in your desires, choices & actions? You may have been blocked or delayed from forward movement but now the energy will resume forward motion and start stimulating the rest of your chart, giving you a chance to integrate whatever Mars stirred up for you personally. It is customized for everyone and no one is exempt. I usually encourage folks who are highly driven and have a need to move & accomplish on a regular basis to learn Mars’ rhythm in your own life. If you give your Self permission to honor your desires, as well as the fact that they change & evolve as you do, then you are living a more authentic life automatically. Now is the time to define the terms of what you deeply desire, what you are willing to do to acquire that and what it will take to maintain it. Mars in Capricorn or Aquarius is very driven toward a specific goal of achieving a better future for one & all, which means we can use this extended stay to build strength, fortitude & consciousness about how we use our own energy to create our own lives, and thus affect & contribute to the collective life.

8/28 ~ Mercury (expression) ~square~ Jupiter (truth):    (3 of 3:  7/9 ~ 8/11 ~ 8/28)

This energy challenges you to integrate your smaller vision with the larger vision for your life. On one hand, you can see the big picture in new ways, but on the other hand, you may not be very interested in the details that bring it about. This is another good one for expanding your consciousness and thinking outside the box, but as the insights come into your conscious awareness, be mindful of the steps it will take to make your ideas a reality. This activation is also great for course-corrections where your ideas are concerned and will open you up to learning something new or bring in a crucial piece of information, just keep in mind that you will have to stabilize anything you start and probably have to review some details down the road because of something you overlooked in your enthusiasm for the new Truth revealed from within.

September 2018 Ascension Energies – Polarity Perspective

September 2018 Ascension Energies – Polarity Perspective

The accompanying video to this article can be found here.

August Review

August was a culmination of 3 months (June/July/August) of focus amplifying our connection (family). Ascension is a natural evolution into more conscious connection with the subtle, invisible energetic that has always been working with us (ie our thoughts/emotions), but now we are using/mastering that connection more consciously.

August brought the final of 3 eclipses (those were easy ;o) that stirred up a lot of change. Ultimately it was the continual leveling up the spiral. The energy of 3 is represented by the triangle. August brought a new clarity and empowerment to the Merkaba (our vehicle of progression) which is the static, 2D representation of the spiral.

Mer=Light, Ka=Spirit, Ba=Body. It is the resonance/shape/geometry, form/formless bridge between subtle and physical. Light is the result of that movement/shape. It is the information of that resonance.

Heart Family was the focus of August, and it pointed out the importance of emotions, which connect and move/transform things. This is constant in physical form. Ma’at asks, how Light is your heart? When it is weighed against a feather, is it heavier (you sink) or lighter (you rise)? See how this metaphor has written our history? What writes our future?

September Energies

For the energies of September I was shown 2 paths diverging. Polarization, separation—but not desolation! Some would say this is the timeline shift, where the good go in one direction, and the bad in the other (do you sink or rise, think or surmise?).

Areon, the Lyran Council of Time, has been talking about our polarization for quite awhile, that we would be seeing it increase, even among Lightworkers. Polarization is a natural form of new creation. It gets people off the fence, making decisions, forming opinions and (oh no!) judgments.

Using your discernment (the less judged form of judgment) is important. You are in physical to experience and choose. When you do that with less polarity and more neutrality, you are following the rules of creation that determines form. You’re writing the future.

This is the physical realm. We move through change based on rules of the physical realm. We transcend that by integrating the “higher” resonance (the subtle, unseen) of the heart—love. (Make that heart rise!) But those 2, the physical and non-physical, are connected. It’s your light, your information connects them. Are you light as a feather?

Polarity Perspective

The benefit of polarity in the physical realm, is it clarifies your perspective. What couldn’t be identified when you were too close to it, becomes clear with some perspective through distance. Too often we have been entrained to focus on problems that stimulate polarizing fear [new(s) is really old]. Yet progress is calling you toward neutralizing the polarity.

August showed us the power of the heart to forgive (neutralize) and create the new in Love. September teaches us to neutral-eyes and see a new future. See beyond polarization as separation and embrace the clarification that the spiral always creates.

Allow it to spin off the weak bonds of fear, pain and resentment, enlightening your load. Allow it to strengthen your strong bonds of love, compassion and creative courage, illuminating your road.

Compassion Connects

The energy of Mother Mary, representing unconditional Love and nurturing compassion has been strong recently. You may resonate with a similar energy other than Mother Mary, but that energy of nurturing Love is key to the diverging roads finding new direction.

Why?

Because it is the pull of the positive, compelling Love that the fear/pain/resentment seeks to soothe its spin into flow again. New form. Is the bond written with the light of heart or the plight of density? The 2 aren’t so separate when you see 3 through them. Duality is transcended with Love. Creative courage will say no, it will push/pull into new form—but through the Light of Love instead of the fear of separation.

This is where the linearity, the lines diverging, are swept into resonant spiral. Where deconstruction and reconstruction submit to the forces around them. Love is a passive force, it compels new form. It does that with a deep inner knowing that the rules of nature “right” (write) themselves through Time.

Writing the Future

These months have called us to amplify our creative flow by owning our lives. Be the dominant flow in your own life, it is the creative gift of free will that Life has bestowed upon you by nature, not by nurture. The nurturing is your work. What are you nurturing in your life? Are you feeding your fear or feeding your Love?

September is a time of perceiving a new potential. It follows an amplification of the heart/love so that the brilliant mind is focusing on the linear path and steps that help manifest the heart’s desires. It is a powerful time of being the change you want to see in the world!

Your inner perspective is your first action, how you allow the building/amplification of a resonance to create new form. September may not feel as action-focused as you may like—but go back to that powerful knowing that you are creating from a new foundation of love. Look for the clues of form building and you will find more neutrality as you connect to the new.

In Summary

This equinox brings us to a new balance between 2 worlds, where we see the potential of the connection of equality enhancing life, rather than the separation of inequality dominating the landscape. How is the scene influencing your flow? Or are you influencing it? Perhaps in ways unseen, but sensed by those with eyes to see, and lived by those with the courage to be. The change.

Moon in Pisces

Moon in Pisces

The Moon is traveling through Pisces today. You may feel disconnected. Serve others. Listen to music. Paint a picture. Daydream.

We are not inclined to want to face reality while the Moon is in dreamy, impressionable Pisces. It can be a wistful, sensitive, intuitive, and compassionate time. We are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns under this influence. Boundaries and walls come down, as Pisces energy merges and blends. It’s a time when details are overlooked and feelings defy description.

The Moon in Pisces generally favors the following activities: Imaginative undertakings, mystical or spiritual pursuits, inner development, music and drama, going on a retreat, activities involving water.

Daily Cosmic Calendar for August 28

Just after any full moon the universe encourages human souls to keep reaching out to one another with kindness. Therefore and despite the recent planetary shenanigans and yesterday’s Mars halt and turn direct, do your best to be a goodwill ambassador far and wide. A short void lunar cycle in Pisces begins at 6:56am and concludes with the arrival of fiery Aries moon at 9:36am. During the void zone, tune into the positive nature of your professional objectives as Venus makes an inspirational, 72-degree connection with Saturn (7:08am). Learn more about healing interests, déjà vu, psychic sensitivity, reincarnation, mandalas, sacred dance, pyramid power, ley lines, crop circles, UFOs and ETs as the moon makes its monthly conjunction with Chiron (11:59am). Follow conservative guidelines in business matters later on as Mercury makes a caustic, 135-degree tie to Saturn (5:58pm).

[Note to readers: All times are now calculated for Pacific Daylight Time. Be sure to adjust all times according to your own local time so the alignments noted above will be exact for your location.]

In the Sky This Month

Planets
In the Sky This Month

The Moon rolls past one bright light after another this month, including the brilliant planets Venus, Jupiter, and Mars. At the same time, two of the signature star patterns of summer, Scorpius and Sagittarius, roll low across the south. Scorpius really does look like a scorpion, while the brightest stars of Sagittarius, which represents a centaur holding a bow and arrow, form a wide teapot.

August 28: Bootes

The constellation Bootes, the herdsman, stands high in the west in early evening. Its leading light, yellow-orange Arcturus, is one of the brightest stars in the entire sky.

August 29: Tea Time

The “teapot” of Sagittarius steams low across the southwest on late-summer evenings. The spout of the teapot lines up in front of the center of the galaxy, which is about 27,000 light-years away.

August 30: Shadow Play

Look low in the east shortly after sunset for a blue-gray band atop the horizon with a thin layer of pink above it, fading into the blue of the daytime sky. The dark band is Earth’s own shadow, which extends far into space.

August 31: Sagitta

Sagitta, the third-smallest constellation, lies between Altair and Vega, two of the stars of the Summer Triangle. Many civilizations saw this pattern as an arrow knifing through the heavens. It stands high over in the northeast at nightfall.

The sky this week for August 27 to September 2

Do you like planets? Well, you’re in luck, because planets abound in the sky this week.

By Richard Talcott

Tuesday, August 28

Although Jupiter reached opposition and peak visibility in early May, it remains a conspicuous object from evening twilight until it sets around 10:30 p.m. local daylight time. Jupiter shines at magnitude –1.9 and dominates the southwestern sky after Venus sets. The gas giant resides among the background stars of Libra the Scales; this evening, it lies 1.5° due east of Zubenelgenubi (Alpha [a] Librae). If you view the planet through a telescope, its disk spans 35″ and displays spectacular cloud-top detail.

Wednesday, August 29

The constellations Ursa Major the Great Bear and Cassiopeia the Queen lie on opposite sides of the North Celestial Pole, so they appear to pivot around the North Star (Polaris) throughout the course of the night and the year. In late August and early September, these two constellations appear equally high as darkness falls. You can find Ursa Major and its prominent asterism, the Big Dipper, about 30° above the northwestern horizon. Cassiopeia’s familiar W shape, which currently lies on its side, appears the same height above the northeastern horizon. As the night progresses, Cassiopeia climbs above Polaris while the Big Dipper swings below.

Thursday, August 30

Saturn reached its peak about two months ago, when it appeared opposite the Sun in the sky, but our view of the ringed planet remains magnificent. It appears against the backdrop of northwestern Sagittarius, a region that climbs highest in the south as darkness falls. Saturn continues to shine brightly, too, at magnitude 0.4. Center the planet in your binoculars and you’ll see the Trifid Nebula (M20) 1.7° to the west and the Lagoon Nebula (M8) 2.2° to the southwest. But the best views come through a telescope. Even the smallest instrument shows Saturn’s 17″-diameter disk surrounded by a dramatic ring system that spans 39″ and tilts 27° to our line of sight.

Friday, August 31

Distant Neptune reaches opposition and peak visibility a week from tonight, but the view now is essentially the same. The ice giant planet rises during evening twilight and climbs halfway to the zenith in the southern sky by 1:30 a.m. local daylight time. The magnitude 7.8 planet lies in Aquarius, 2.1° west-southwest of 4th-magnitude Phi (f) Aquarii. You’ll need binoculars to spy Neptune and a telescope to see its blue-gray disk, which spans 2.4″.

Saturday, September 1

The variable star Algol in Perseus reaches minimum brightness at 4:52 a.m. EDT tomorrow morning. If you start watching this evening (it rises in the northeast shortly after 8 p.m. local daylight time), you can see its brightness diminish by 70 percent over the course of about five hours as its magnitude drops from 2.1 to 3.4. This eclipsing binary star runs through a cycle from minimum to maximum and back every 2.87 days.

Mars’ brief excursion into Sagittarius comes to an end today, as it moves eastward across the border into Capricornus.

Sunday, September 2

Last Quarter Moon occurs at 10:37 p.m. EDT. It rises around midnight local daylight time and climbs high in the southeast by the time twilight starts to paint the sky. Earth’s only natural satellite lies just east of the Hyades star cluster and 1st-magnitude Aldebaran in the constellation Taurus the Bull.

Daily Overview of Your Stars & Planets for August 28

Daily Overview of Your Stars & Planets for August 28

The Moon continues its transit of Pisces until 12:35 PM EDT, at which time it begins its transit of Aries. Aries is a brave and direct sign, and with the Moon here, we can be emotionally impulsive. The Moon aligns with Chiron in Aries and then forms a square to Saturn, and it’s easy to trigger our vulnerabilities today. It’s a good time to confront sensitive areas where we may be in some level of denial. However, talking about things can lead to misunderstandings now with Mercury in minor challenging aspect to Saturn. Watch for hypersensitivity, negative thinking, and criticism. It’s a good influence, though, for doing editing work and for identifying flaws and fixing problems.

The Moon is void from 9:54 AM EDT, with the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs (a sextile to Mars), until the Moon enters Aries at 12:35 PM EDT.

Feeling the Ancestors

They live in the air we breathe,
in the whispers of pine needles
or rain patters on leaves
swaying high in a eucalyptus tree.
Life circles around in
the wail when a tiny head
pushes between bloody legs,
angry at sudden life,
or in the anguished scream
of a man who just lost his wife.
Laughter and celebrations are wrestled
from the talons of hunger and war.
Nurses and nursemaids
coax courage from the wounded
for another try, a last-ditch effort
before another dream dies.

Grief and joy alike must be anointed by tears.
We remember lessons we never acknowledged
as they flow into our present experience.
Everything has been lived before.
Thank you, Ancestors.
Someday,
we may be the wisdom flowing
through another’s veins.

Planet Tracker for Aug. 24: Sun in Virgo(Aug. 22 – Sept. 22)

Sun in Virgo: Discerning, Modest, Detail-Oriented

August 22 – September 22, 2018

Perfection is at an all-time high when the Sun is in meticulous Virgo from August 22 – September 22! This is a time when we’ll say goodbye to the playful days of rambunctious Leo so that we can take life a bit more seriously. Sure, we’ll all still be feeling the carefree summertime vibes, but the Virgo Sun shows us how to focus more on our work, our health, and how to make ourselves useful to society.

When the Sun is in Virgo

The Sun’s move into detail-oriented Virgo gives all of us a leg up on polishing our skills, getting organized, or doing any activities that require us to pay close attention. Reveal what you can do to make the most of the quest for perfection during this transit:

WHAT TO DO:

Get your work done — perfectly. Then go for a run, get a deep tissue massage, and wind down with a good book and a glass of fine wine. Virgo is an Earth sign that values sensation and the best experiences in life.

WHAT TO SAY:

“Let me look at that.” Virgo doesn’t let anything go — a quality that is both invaluable and annoying. It’s great to have an eye for the smallest details, but if you’re double-checking someone else’s work, take it easy on them if you find fault — and you will, because the Sun is in Virgo!

WHERE TO GO:

Camping! Earthy Virgo finds comfort and security when surrounded by nature and wildlife, so get out to the country during the Virgo Sun. Such a serene setting will also calm Virgo’s overly anxious tendencies, and help you loosen up and relax.

WHAT TO WEAR:

A cashmere cardigan and a comfy pair of shoes. Practical Virgo is most at home in luxurious yet comfortable clothing. Virgo can be a fussy sign, so it’s best to keep it clean, cozy, and simple when it comes to getting dressed in Virgo season.

WHAT TO BUY:

A vacuum cleaner! Forget “spring cleaning” — it’s all about “summer cleaning” when the Sun is in Virgo. Pick up a broom, a mop, and a new feather duster, because now is the perfect time to use that meticulous Virgo energy to get your home spotless.

WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR:

Being too critical and judgmental. Virgo can sometimes be too finicky, turning “perfect” into picky, which can be annoying and frustrating for others. Strive to loosen up a little and let a few things go — after all, not everything needs to be flawless.

WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO:

Getting back on track. Sun in Virgo is an organized and practical period in which to get back to business after a few lighthearted months. It may not be all fun and games, but you will feel fantastic about how much you’ve accomplished.

If you were born with the Sun in Virgo

Virgo is considered the perfectionist of the zodiac. As a practical, Mercury-ruled sign, you generally prefer neatness and order to loose ends and chaos. People sometimes see your need for order as excessive, but your focus on the details simply ensures efficiency and high quality work — two things you love!

You are body-aware, and place an importance on your health and nutrition. In fact, you take your well-being so seriously that you may have gotten a reputation for being a hypochondriac. You just like making sure that everything is in perfect working order — even your body.

LOVE:

Because it is called “The Virgin,” people mistakenly think of Virgo as a passionless sign — and that’s simply not true! In reality, you have an appreciation for all aspects of intimacy: mental, emotional, and physical.

You take your time picking a partner, and you’d much rather be single than with someone who doesn’t live up to your standards. You don’t open up right away, but when you do, you are devoted and will do whatever it takes to keep your partner happy in the relationship.

CAREER:

All Virgos have one common problem: none of you can relax! Work is play to you, and you genuinely enjoy organizing projects and checking items off your to-do list. You’re analytical and precise which is why careers in technology, science, or finance usually appeal to you. You have a sense of duty to complete tasks simply because there’s a job to be done and someone has to do it. The phrase “if you want something done right, then do it yourself” must have been coined by a Virgo!

FRIENDSHIP:

While not everyone is invited into your social circle — you hold others to the same high standards you have for yourself — you are an incredibly loyal friend to those who are. The only thing you enjoy more than getting things done perfectly is lending a helping hand to those closest to you. When a friend has a problem, you’re able to get in there with your meticulous mind and examine the nitty-gritty details so you can come up with a solution.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

You have quite an eye for detail, Virgo! You always work hard to dot your i’s and cross your t’s so that everything goes according to plan. Just remember to take a break and not judge yourself or others too harshly. Nobody is perfect!

The 6 appears now to remind you to have faith that you will find and keep true love. It may not be today, unless you are 100 percent comfortable with who you are at this very moment. Yes, it starts with you as an individual in self-love. When Harry met Sally they barely tolerated each other before falling in love. Six says you can skip the drama if you focus on yourself first. You had too many demands in a previous life that left you in a string of unsavory situations. Save time and practice self-love. Then you will meet the one who truly deserves your attention.
