Witches Healing Candle Spell

To help speed a recovery from illness, write the sick person’s name upon a white human-shaped candle of the appropriate gender. As you anoint it with three drops of myrrh or mint oil, visualize healing energy in the form of white light flowing from your hands into the candle and say:
In the divine name of the Goddess
Who breathes life into us all
I consecrate and charge this candle
As a magical tool for healing.
Place the candle on top of a photograph of the sick person and then light the wick.
As the candle burns down, concentrate upon the person in the photograph, willing him
or her to be well again, and chant the following incantation:
Magick mend and candle burn,
Sickness end; good health return

Riding Yourself of Unwanted Energy

Take a black candle which has been ritually cleansed and some anointing oil which has also been ritually blessed. Do not use anything for this which has not been cleansed or blesed already.

Depending on the desired result, you should choose an oil which corresponds to this end.
At the time of the new moon, or when it first begins to wane, cast a circle or use your 9′ cord to create a sacred space.

Place the black candle (preferable a taper) on the altar with the oil.

Have no unblessed/uncleansed tools in this ritual.

Cast the circle.

Call the Goddess and her consort.

Use a burin to engrave the candle with the spell you wish to cast.

Now, anoint the candle using the oil. While you anoint the candle with the oil, speak these words out loud or silently

“Tonight no moon, tomorrow the first one.

Let this be eroded til my will be done.

Candle burn down to remove all ill.

Let this spell be cast by the power of my will.”

And once you have anointed the candle, place it in a safe place to burn down completely.

Let’s Talk Witch – Candle Magick

Candle magick is one of the simplest forms of spell casting used in Wicca and witchcraft .It is a method which doesn’t require a lot of fancy ritual or expensive ceremonial tools, but there are some simple things to know and understand before doing candle spells.

Any type of candle can be used for candle magick as long as it has been cleansed and consecrated prior to use. Beeswax candles are higher in price than store bought candles, but they are more powerful because they are produced from nature. Many experienced Witches will use only candles they have crafted themselves because of a belief it strengthens their energy in the working. However, using a store bought candle can be just as effective. Small taper candles work well.

Consecrate your candles.
This is a very important step and needs to be done to cleanse and remove all the negative energies that the candle has picked up along the way. As with all supplies you want your candles to be as free of psychic debris as possible. Some witches will submerge it in sea salt and ask God and Goddess to cleanse and consecrate it. Most witches will use an oil to dress a candle and ask God and Goddess to cleanse and consecrate it.

Dressing Candles:
Dressing the candle with oil is as important as any other step. Use whatever oil you prefer or what a specific spell calls for. To bring something to you, rub oil on the candle in a downward motion from the top to the middle and then from the bottom to the middle. Then say some enchantment over the candle asking God and Goddess to cleanse and consecrate it and bless it with your intent or purpose of the candle.

To send something away from you, you rub the oil from the middle of the candle out to the ends. Never make a back and forth motion as this defeats the purpose. Dab the remaining oil from your fingers onto your third eye and on your breast bone. Then say some enchantment over the candle that ask God and Goddess to cleanse and consecrate it and bless it with your intent or purpose of the candle.

Inscribing your candles:
If you inscribe a candle you should use your athame. The same principle as dressing the candle is used. To draw something to you, write from the top to the middle, and then from the bottom to the middle.

To repel things, write from middle to the ends.

*Note: Time your candle-burning to correspond to the cycles of the moon if you need can wait. With moon magick, to bring something into your life, do your rituals when the moon is waxing(or growing). To rid yourself of something, do it when the moon is waning.
