Blue Lace Agate is one of the rarest of all the agate gemstones. It was discovered by a man named George Swanson on his farm in the south western part of Africa. To this day, the original seam found on his farm still produces the best blue lace agates in the world.

For healing, cut an apple into three pieces, rub on the afflicted part of the body, and bury outside. Do this during the waning moon to banish illness. Apples can be used for poppets or the apple wood carved into a poppet. Powder dried seeds and bark to burn as incense. (Caution: more than a few apple seeds can be poisonous). Apples are associated with the dead and Samhain, which is often called the Feast of Apples.

Get a small bottle with a lid, you can cleanse it and consecrate it if you wish.
Either write the name of you and your lover or your symbols on a piece of paper, then put
the paper inside the bottle so the side with the writing on is facing outwards.
Grind up some herbs that are used in love or lust charms.

Love- rose petals, jasmine flowers, lavender, orisis root.

Lust – ginger, cloves, cinnamon, caraway.

Whilst you are grinding them up visualize you and your partner (or future partner)
being deeply in lust or happy and in love, you could also say something while doing this like:
“herbs of the earth herbs of lust bring me passion in you I trust”

Then put them into the bottle – Then add drops of essential oils used for love or lust.

Love-rose, rosemary, ylang ylang.

Lust- patchouli, cinnamon, ylang ylang, orange.

Fill the bottle with oil almost to the top.

Get a candle (preferably pink or red) and drip wax into the bottle until it is about to overflow
and then put the lid on the bottle while the wax is still molten. This seals the spell.
Sit and mediate for a while and do whatever you normally do to ‘charge up’ your charms.
Imagine the bottle glowing with a pink or red light.

You can carry or wear the bottle or you could bury or hang it somewhere special to you and
in the future if you no longer require lust or love between you and your partner, then smash
the bottle and bury it somewhere far away

Let’s Talk Witch – Engaging All Five Senses in Spellwork

Magick is the practice of bringing the possible into reality whether the spells are for better health, a new job, or tastier garden tomatoes. All of these goals, and most others, work on the principle that the worker uses their own will to shape reality, and because of this, the worker must be able to form a clear picture of the intended outcome. You can’t create what you can’t imagine, so the more clearly the goal is identified, the more likely the desired outcome. Engaging all of our senses in spellwork can help us define that goal and give it aspects that appeal to our need to interact with something to prove to ourselves it is real. Additionally, sometimes we need to define goals that aren’t concrete, but rather involve abstractions such as emotions and memories. Such goals can be hard to represent, but by using our other senses, we can find representation for them, and manifest even the most abstract goals into reality. While visualization is a much praised and important part of spellwork, each of our four other senses has the potential to connect us to our spellwork in deeper and more intense ways. Human beings are primarily visual creatures, but that does not mean that the visual sense is the strongest for everyone. Nor does it mean that our other senses have less to offer. Many of us already use cues for our other senses in ritual; a drumbeat or music in the background, incense in the air, cakes and ale. However, we don’t always bring these elements into the spellwork itself. We can use smells, tastes, sounds, and textures in spellcraft to create a deeper link with the magic as well as a more complete representation of the desired result. For instance, smells provide a powerful trigger for memory and emotion. As an example, you can improve a spell to relieve insomnia by using the smell of fresh linen, applying the scent to a small sachet tucked into your pillow. The scent becomes another part of the spell whether it’s the use of baby powder in a sachet meant to aid in fertility or using a vial of oil as the focus for a calm flying spell.

We can also use scents to bring a spell to mind again after the casting, strengthening the magic or its effect on you. Additionally, spells that you can taste can have a huge impact on the body, and make a great vehicle for workings such as health spells or other purposes involving the body. The sense of touch plays a large role in our interaction with others, but is also the medium through which we interact with and manipulate the world. When we think of something as material, we think of being able to touch it; therefore, giving a texture and feel to the goals of our spellwork lends a quality of realism that brings them closer to manifestation.

Traditionally on this day the ancient Greeks would carry the statue of Kore around her temple seven times as they prayed for protection and good fortune. Following the temple activities a nocturnal rite was held in honor of Kore (daughter of Zeus and Demeter, whose name means “maiden:), an aspect of Persephone before her marriage to Hades.

On this day in Old Europe the ashes from the Yule log were removed and either stored for magickal purposes or scattered on the field to insure fertility. Later on in the day the Lord of Misrule, known as the King of the Bean, were selected. Cakes were made, and a bean was baked into one. Whomever found the bean in his cake was then elected King for the day. The King, along with the Queen of the Pea (selected by finding the pea baked into another batch of cakes) ruled over the final Yuletide festivities.

Witches Of The Wild Woods

Well, my sweets, I hate to cut it short today but………


Ah, it’s beautiful when it is in a picture, isn’t it? In real life, it is definitely a different story. We have a wintery mess coming at us. That is the reason I am cutting today’s posts short. I have a few things to pick up before we get snowed in. We are suppose to start out with a little freezing rain then snow. The freezing rain scares me to death. I remember back a few year ago when we were out of power for 11 days. That was a nightmare. I don’t want to have to go through that again. After the freezing rain moves in, we are suppose to have a foot of snow (did I mention I am really not crazy about winter, lol!). So I figure before all this mess hits, I might as well get up and run out in the 5 degree weather and go to the store. But tomorrow when I am snowed in and nobody can get to me, I will give you information overload, deal? Deal!

I will be back on tonight to up-date the site. Get rid of all the old stuff and bring in the new, or should I say “ring in the new.” Anyway, we are going to start something that will run for a month, it is our membership drive. This is the first time we have ever done anything like this. No telling how it will turn out but we are going to give it a shot anyway. We want to make 2014 a year that is on fire for the Goddess. We want to spread the true beauty of our Religion by leaps and bounds. I have become extremely ambitious, I would like to see our Religion back in the mainstream before I pass. What a glorious accomplishment! With the Goddess’ help we can do it. It is going to take as many people as we can muster to accomplish this. Thus the reason for the membership drive. The more we grow and grow, eventually we will be so large they can no longer ignore us. They will have to listen to us and finally understand us. Then qw will have to be recognized as a true Religion and given our place back in  mainstream Religion.

We don’t want you going out and dragging people to our site. If you have a Pagan friend, you can casually mention to them, “hey, why don’t you check out this group online?” If the join or if you join during our membership drive, we have some great incentives for you. For the 10, 25, 50 and 100th persons to join we have some excellent spell kits to offer. Like this one shown below…..

I have said it over and over again, now is our time. This year let’s make it finally happen. Let’s finally cement our teachings, beliefs, and practices in concrete.
