What has traditionally been known as the World card points to the presiding intelligence, called “Sophia,” or Wisdom, which upholds life on this and all worlds. A more precise title for this card might be “the Soul of the World,” also applicable as a symbol of personal empowerment and freedom. In most Tarot decks it is a female figure that has become our standard World image. She originates in Hebrew, Gnostic and Alchemical lore, and stands between heaven and earth as the Cosmic Mother of Souls, the Wife of God and our protector from the karmic forces we have set loose upon the Earth in our immaturity and ignorance.

Where the Empress energy secures and fertilizes our terrestrial lives, the goddess of The World invites us into cosmic citizenship — once we come to realize our soul’s potential for it. Just as the Chariot stands for success in achieving a separate Self, and Temperance represents achievement of mental and moral health, the World card announces the awakening of the soul’s Immortal Being, accomplished without the necessity of dying.

This card, like the Sun, is reputed to have no negative meaning no matter where or how it appears. If the Hermetic axiom is “Know Thyself”, this image represents what becomes known when the true nature of Self is followed to creative freedom and its ultimate realization.

Items You Will Need:

Marigold seeds
A clay pot filled with Earth
One green candle
A small topaz stone
Green paint
Brush
A small square of paper
 

Paint the rune symbol for wealth (Fehu) on the clay pot and on the paper. Put the topaz stone along with the paper in the bottom of the pot, and fill it with the Earth. Place the pot and seeds, along with the candle, on a small table or altar covered with a green cloth.

Light the candle. Pick up the seeds and hold them as you meditate on what it is you need. For more than one participant, put the seeds on a small plate so that each person can take a seed and plant it, making his or her own wish. When you feel the time is right, plant the seeds as you chant:

“Seeds and earth,
To dreams gives birth.”
 

Leave the candle to burn for four hours. Extinguish the candle and place it along with the pot in a window. Each time you water the seeds, light the candle and repeat the chant. This is a great activity for the whole family, particularly if family members have a collective goal in mind.

A Ritual To Find the Lost Malaysia Airline Jet

 

There are many reason this plane could be missing. I know at this time there are many theories what could have happened to it. Needless to say, none of them good. I keep holding out hope that out of all these possible outcomes that it will turn out the plane was hi-jacked. I know that isn’t a good outcome at all but at least, the passengers might be alive.

 

What I am getting ready to suggest, I have never tried. Especially something on this magnitude and a search that involves something like this. But I have a strong belief in all of us, especially we unite in one cause. We have done it before and I believe we can do this, all we have to do is unite again. These relatives of the passengers need closure one way or the other.

 

I watch the families and especially the parents of children that were on this plane. It absolutely breaks my heart. I know the majority of us have children. I have two and think to myself what if this happened to me. What if my son or daughter just disappeared without a trace? My Goddess, I don’t believe I could bear it. These people are going through hell, I know I would be. I would be willing to try anything just to know what or where my children were. I believe you would too.

 

We honestly need to try to help these people. We have been successful twice before if you remember. I honestly believe we can do it again. Everything else has been tried and has failed. I know personally, I feel guilty every time I see their families on TV. I know deep down in my heart that we can possibly help them. I want you to believe this also. I am asking you as a parent and a friend, to help us give these people some type of closure. Let them know what or where their loved ones are. You and I both know, we would try anything and everything to find our own. Let’s try to do this for these families. We have the power to do this, I know we can. It might take a couple of times repeating this spell. But think what we will be giving these poor families. If it was me, I would have to know and I would want to know what happened to my loved one. Either way the outcome at least I would know and finally have peace. We all know these people are in emotional turmoil, a living hell.

 

We are given our abilities from our Divine Mother for a reason. One of the main reasons is to help mankind anyway and anytime that we can. I am asking, no I am pleading with you because my heart is breaking with these people. Please join us in this ritual. Let us unity again as one. You  have seen for yourself what we can do when we stand together. We are an unstoppable force. Again, I am so sorry and feel very ashamed I have not brought this up sooner. But I honestly figured the plane would have been found by now. I ask the Goddess to forgive me and all the families of this missing plane to forgive me for not bringing this up. I know we can do this. Let’s find that plane and those missing passengers.

 

The Spell

 

The items you will need are something you probably have on hand:

A pure white candle
Some rose petals or lavender beads, fresh or dried

 

When you are alone and quiet, light the candle and allow a picture of the missing plane and passengers to come into your mind.

Speak into the flame words of love and any positive news that you can possibly think about involving this plane. Let the words gently flow into the candle.

When you have finished, say three times:

You have left behind loved ones that are in
turmoil and cannot continue without knowing
what has happened, what has occurred or where

On their behalf, we now petition the Greater Powers

I started to write this prayer myself but I didn’t. I found a prayer written by Dr. Jane Goodall. She is person I am sure we all know and one that I admire very much. Dr. Goodall wrote what I could have never put into words. It is a rather long prayer but it is very suited for this current situation. Please take time out of your day to pray it with us. We have a lot to cover today in the opening, so please bear with me. First, I want to thank all of you for the beautiful pentagram necklace. You shouldn’t have but I am so glad you did. I have looked at that necklace for months wanting it and now you got it for my birthday. When I opened the package, I couldn’t believe it. I was so happy and so surprised, you made me cry. And that ain’t easy to make an old witch do, lol! Hmm, I am not really that old and please don’t ask either. Mystie and the Lord don’t even know that. I know the Lord has a pretty good idea but he isn’t for sure. And you know the old saying never ask a lady her age, lol! But seriously, I love you all for the beautiful gift. I love it so much and I will always treasure it since it came from you.

Now on to the world stage. I have two things right now that are bothering me. I also know others that I have talked to, these events are bothering them. I would imagine if all of us were truthfully with ourselves one of these events terrify all of us. That is the current state of affairs between the U.S. and Russia. I don’t like to get involved in politics but sometimes the situation deems otherwise. I talked to the astrologers that do our daily horoscopes at the first of the year (and you probably know how accurate they are, very!). They predicted this year was a year of castrophe for this planet and mankind. Now the situation between Russia and the U.S had cropped up, I am worried. I feel we all should be worried. If either country make the wrong gesture, we all know what could happen. Cooler heads have to prevail for all of our sakes. Whether you are Russian, American, Chinese, Italian, it doesn’t matter, the outcome of these affairs effect the entire world. We both know what these two countries are capable of, no matter what Tradition, Path or Religion you are, we have to pray for peace. For each of our Divinities to step in and take control over the matter. Because seriously, I am afraid that all of our futures are currently at stake.

Now on that happy note, let move on to the next event. This one I am totally ashamed of myself for not mentioning sooner. It is about the plane that disappeared almost two weeks ago. I never imagined that it would be missing this long, never. In fact, to me, with our technology it is unbelievable. I see these poor families on TV and it literally breaks my heart. I want to do something for them so bad. I put myself in their place, I have children as many of you do. Stop to think if this was one of our kids or family members, what would you be going through right now. I  think we need to do something for these families. We have come together twice before in the  past. We united in two events and we had huge success. So I am asking that we come together as a community and help these people. It won’t hurt to try. Nothing else has worked and you know as I do we have the power and the ability to make things happen. Let’s do it one more time for these poor people.

Well, I am asking a lot from you today. But you know yourself, I don’t generally ask much at all. In fact, I seldom ask anything unless it is not important. Both of these situations are important, I will give you they are important for different reasons. But both are equally as important. They involve the comfort and protection of our fellow man. We are given our powers for times like  these. I know in my heart we can make a difference again. It is our duty and obligation to at least try. Like I said I know I am asking a lot, but please let us unity once again. We are needed, let’s meet these challenges head on.

For all these things that you have done for me and all the things that I have asked of you today, thank you from the very bottom of my heart. I love you all more than you will ever know.

‘THINK on THESE THINGS’

How weak-willed are we at times when we’ve made a decision and know we must stand on it. It is so much easier to give in to the easy way of doing things.

We are almost a “house divided against itself,” and the strain of staying with a decision seems almost our enemy. But we never gain much stature by giving in to ourselves against our better judgment. And we never get anywhere by scattering our efforts.

Making a decision is difficult enough without losing one’s determination in following through. Laying down the responsibility is somewhat like warning children to behave themselves and then permitting them to continue to misbehave.

How long has it been since you’ve proven to yourself that you mean business in carrying out a plan?

A man of wisdom has written that we have firmness of character when we have the ability to say “no” to the wrong as well as to those things which are good but stand in the way of our progress.

Always remember that to want something that is good and right is the blessing. God gave us the ability to desire or we would never have thought of using it. But God also gave us the ability to cry, to feel pain, and the freedom to choose whether we go on or quit.

In our lives we face many decisions. Some are hard to make because we know we must turn our backs upon something that seems harmless at the moment simply because we know it would not be good in the long run.

But there are also decisions that are more challenge than decision. They are the good things that are placed before us, and our will to follow through is tested. When defeat seems sure, then is the time to begin to fight. When others are quitting, then is the time to throw more strength into the battle. Anything worth having is worth working for, and is of lasting value.

Very often these sieges must be made silently and without seeming effort. And yet we know we cannot get something for nothing. We have s service to perform. We can make it a drudge, or we can make it a delightful experience, according to our faith. Be persistent. Unless you do not particularly want your dreams to come true, you can’t afford to know the meaning of apathy. You must continually be on the scene with the muscles of your mind toned.

It isn’t difficult to have a dream. But it often ceases at that point. The willingness to follow through, the determination to look impossibilities in the eye and trudge on must be practiced before that dream can amount to anything. All along life’s road there are those who would discourage you, very often in ignorance, not realizing the effect of their words upon you. It is then that you must muster the strength to believe that theirs is only an opinion while your plans are based on the principle that all good things come to those who hustle while they wait.

It is too bad that they cannot see your invisible companions, persistence, faith, and a worthwhile plan. Smile and walk on.

There is a Divine Being with whom we can place all our obstacles, all our doubts and dears – and then our work begins. We give lovingly of friendship, of any kind of help that we are capable of giving, of positive words and thoughts and understanding.

Give without thought of return. For while we are giving with loving selflessness, life shapes for us our heart’s desires.

Why are the Elders always telling us to know The culture and listen to the teachings? When We go off track, why do the Elders say, return to the teachings? The teachings tell us how to live in harmony with the Laws and principles of the Great Spirit. Living means Life – a good life, a happy life. Many of us have grown up without the teachings and the culture, that is why we don’t know how to live. To improve on relationships, to treat our children with honor and to respect our Elders, we need to live by the old teachings again.

Great Spirit, today, show me how to live.

March 20 – Daily Feast

Someone said the test of courage is not to give up but to rise up and take dominion over melancholy moods. To give in to mood swings from sadness to anger makes finding stable ground even more difficult. In fact, it probably cause more, nu ne lv na, which in Cherokee means mischief or harm, than any other thing. When talking to someone trustworthy does not ease the stress, then writing it can make a world of difference. Writing it to ourselves can bring out many causes for sadness or anger that we didn’t know we were harboring. A daily journal has been the source of help in learning what we store away unconsciously, only to come out and whip us at the most unlikely times. It is a way of cleaning house and making corrections in the privacy of our own minds without having to tell the world.
