Artemisia Potion: Mugwort Tea

This is a potent psychic enhancer but although many yearn for its effects, few will wish to drink it, because mugwort tea doesn’t taste good. Add one teaspoon of the fresh herb or one-half teaspoon of the dried herb to a cup. Cover it with boiling water. Let it steep for five minutes, strain and drink.

This is a very concentrated banishing powder, and it’s known as Exodus powder because it stimulates your spell’s target to recreate the exodus–a sudden departure.

Grind all ingredients together to form a powder. Sprinkle this on and around your target’s front doorstep to make them move. Actually sprinkling the powder onto your target’s shoes should also achieve the same effect.

Both formulas are similar in intensity and may be used in the same manner.

  • Sprinkle the Banishing Powder on clothes, especially shoes, belonging to anyone you’d like to see gone.
  • Sprinkle the powder on the ground, so that the target of your spell is forced to step on or over it.
  • Banishing Powder will enhance the power of any other vanishing spell. Sprinkle as an accompaniment, particularly around and over candles.

Banishing Powders

The art of the enchanted powder reaches its finest point with banishing spells. Various banishing powders exist of varying intensity. Some are created from common kitchen ingredients, while others are mixed from more exotic components. Experiment and see which formula works most powerfully for you.

Remember that powders are intended as a subtle form of magick. There’s no need to leave a large suspicious pile; a discreet sprinkling is typically sufficient.

Any of the following Banishing Powders may be used to create a Banishing Oil.

Moon Water

Full moon water is a preferred ingredient in many potions because it is charged with the natural powers of the moon. You can make full moon water by placing tap or spring water outside (in a sealed, clear container) with the full moon shining down upon it. You can reserve this specially charged water for washing your tools, herbs, or other ingredients, or you can use it in the potions themselves. For example, I use full moon water in my tea to give it extra power. Full moon water is best used in potions designed to aid in perfecting ideas, working on positive aspects, increasing psychic and physical energy, and enhancing creativity.

New moon water is ideal for potions relating to healing and resting. It is made in the same way as full moon water, but instead of a full moon, you let the light of a new moon shine on it.

If you have the collecting and storing capacity, you can save rainwater for your cleansing and potion needs. Before using collected rainwater, thou, you might want to have it tested to make sure is hasn’t picked up any kind of contaminants.

LOVE POTION TEA

LOVE POTION TEA
1 pinch of rosemary 2 teaspoons of black ordinary breakfast tea tea
3 pinches thyme 3 pinches nutmeg 3 fresh mint leaves
6 fresh rose petals 6 lemon leaves 3 cups pure spring water
Sugar to taste Honey
To make another person fall in love with you, brew this tea on a Friday during a waxing moon.
Waxing = moving from dark or no moon to full
Place all ingredients in an earthenware or copper tea kettle.
Boil three cups of pure spring water and add to the kettle.
Sweetenwith sugar and honey, if desired.
Before drinking, recite this magical rhyme:
BY LIGHT OF MOON WAXING BREW THIS TEA TO MAKE [lover’s name] DESIRE ME.
Drink some of the tea and say:
GODDESS OF LOVE HEAR NOW MY PLEA
LET [lover’s name] DESIRE ME!
SO MOTE IT BE
On the following Friday, brew another pot of the love potion tea and give some to
the person you want to love you. He or she will soon begin to fall in love with you.

LUST POTION

6 drops of Patchouli oil 6 drops of Sandalwood oil 6 drops of Rose oil
6 drops of Clove oil 6 drops of Nutmeg oil 6 drops of Olive oil
Wear as a perfume whenever you’ll be in the presence of the person you’re trying to attract.
Be careful, this stuff is really potent. And don’t be surprised if you find others eyeing you as well.
I find it’s pretty effective for getting a man’s attention. I would probably suggest substituting amber
oil for the rose oil in order to attract a woman.

EMPLOYMENT POTION

One part sandalwood oil One part patchouli oil One part clove bud oil
One part frankincense oil One part nutmeg oil
You will also need a green candle, parchment, a pen and dragon’s blood ink.
You may also use a green or gold ink pen.
On the waxing or full moon, fold all the herbs into the cloth and tie a ribbon around it and place it on your altar.
Combine the oils together and place the bottle on your altar.
On the parchment draw the symbol for Jupiter, a money symbol (like a dollar sign or the
symbol for the pound or a rune for prosperity). Also make a general list of all the things
you’d like to gain from your new job. Take the green candle and with a pen, tack or crystal,
carve the word “Prosperity” into the wax. Anoint the candle with some of the oil and allow it
to burn out. Wear the remainder of the oil as a perfume, add it to a bath or put a drop or two
on your application or resume. Sleep with the sachet under your pillow for at least a week.
You should see results in 1-3 months.

Is your office or building stressful? Try this To make your workplace a place of harmony
and peace sprinkle this magical powder around when no one is looking.
Create this powder on a Thursday Evening for the strongest possible mixture!
3 drops of rose oil 5 drops of sandalwood oil 7 drops of lavender oil
a handful of talcum powder a teaspoon dried powdered chamomile flowers (if available)
Mix everything but the talc together in a ceramic bowl with a fork until well blended.
Add the talcum powder and mix well. Visualize a warm blue light building and radiating
from the powder as you mix. Do this until you are satisfied and gently pour the powder
into a little paper envelope or sachet. Take it work the next morning.

FLYING OINTMENT

1/2 Cup shortening, 3 drops dragon’s blood, 3 Tbsp. mugwort- Melt shortening over low heat.
This is your base. Add mugwort and dragon’s blood to base.
Visualize your intent while stirring. Steep for 9 minutes. Strain into glass jar.

Sprinkle in room prior to meditation or religious rituals to turn your awareness to higher things. Also, sprinkle in circles around blue candles for this purpose

1 part Sandalwood
1 part Tonka

In a lonely place, hold the powder in your right hand (if right-handed). Feel its energies and visualize your wish with perfect clarity. Rouse the power with you and send it into the powder. When it is jumping with energy, fling it as far from you as you can. As the powder touches the Earth, it releases its energy and goes to work to bring your wish into manifestation.
