Daily Feng Shui News for April 4th – ‘Walk Around Things Day’

I love today’s theme of ‘Walk Around Things Day,’ especially since recent studies have revealed how harmful it can be to sit for long periods of time. Experts advise that those with desk jobs should get up every fifteen minutes and walk around. Researchers at the Cleveland Clinic add that we should also walk for ten minutes, twice a day — it’s also a great way to get in some exercise. Follow these tips and you can walk years off your life.

Daily Feng Shui News for April 1st – ‘Healing Vibes’

Today I’d like to share a powerful forgiveness technique that will send healing vibes to anyone you might have to apologize to — or to anyone who should be apologizing to you. You will need a lidded receptacle like a mason or jelly jar. You will also need a green ink pen, a piece of white paper, some honey and a small white candle. Use the pen to write the name of the person with whom you’d like to exchange forgiveness on the paper and fold it into quarters. Place the paper in the jar, cover it with honey and put the lid on tightly. Every night for nine consecutive nights at approximately the same time, light the candle and send healing light and love to the recipient of this exercise. After a few minutes blow the candle out and do this same thing the next night. On the ninth and last night let the candle burn completely down. Once the remnants of the candle have cooled, put that and the jar in a brown paper bag and dispose of it anywhere outside of your living space. Chances are now high that you will hear from this person and that the two of you will settle your differences. That’s today’s promise — no foolin’!

Daily Feng Shui News for Mar. 31st – ‘Bunsen Burner Day’

On ‘Bunsen Burner Day’ let’s take a look at ways that Feng Shui says fire can heat up certain energies in your life. Fire is the element most associated with the Feng Shui ‘Fame’ arena, so if you’re looking for some positive recognition and accompanying rewards, then you should burn nine red candles in that ‘Fame’ space. This area most associated with honor and promotion is located in the back middle or back center of the main wall of your home or office. According to this tradition, red is believed to be the color ascribed to fire and the number nine symbolizes completion. So if you’re looking to heat up your reputation, look no further than the back of your own house.

Daily Feng Shui News for March 29th – ‘Time to Unplug’

Today you may want to take a Feng Shui bath that promises to help you unplug. Place one tablespoon of rose petals, one tablespoon of wheat grains and ten chopped dried plums in a net. Suspend the net in your bathwater and add ten drops of rose essential oil. Lie in the tub and close your eyes. Focus your attention on the bottom of your collarbone while massaging your temples. This ages-old Taoist relaxation technique really does help you unplug. Forget the Calgon and let dried plums and empowering exercise take you away.

Daily Feng Shui News for March 28th – ‘Something on a Stick Day’

Today is ‘Something On A Stick Day’ and I thought I might share something positive and proactive with you. A powerful Feng Shui method called the ‘Six True Color Light Flags’ cure is believed to hold great power for healing and transformation. You will need six small sticks and six small squares of fabric in the following colors and sequence: white, red, yellow, green, blue and black. Make each flag a solid color. On the white flag write the word Om, while on the red flag write the word Ma. On the yellow flag write Ni and Pad on the green flag. On the blue flag write the word Me and Hum on the black flag. Bless your flags by repeating the words associated with each flag and then blow on it. Keep them together in that exact color sequence and place them in the ‘Wealth’ area of your home or office in order to attract health, happiness and prosperity.

Daily Feng Shui News for March 27th – ‘Spring Forward’

We are now enjoying the season of fertility and growth. Feelings of hope and rejuvenation offer each of us a chance to attract more of the same into our own lives. On this day, take a green ink pen, magic marker or pencil and draw a green star on white paper. Color the star green and then outline it in black ink. Place the star in any space where you will see it at least several times throughout the day. Using sacred geometry in this visual and symbolic way activates both a positive psychological and physiological response. Green is the color of healing, health, fertility and maturity and the star is a universal symbol of hope. They now combine to make sure that something spectacular will now spring forward for you.

Daily Feng Shui News for Mar. 26th – ‘Legal Assistant’s Day’

I’m going to take some liberties today and change ‘Legal Assistant’s Day’ to something that will bring you legal assistance. If legal issues are also causing you to incur financial losses, you will want to place an image or a small statue of Xiu Fo Buddha, as Feng Shui says that this will protect you from legal negativity, lying and backstabbing. If you want justice to prevail, put Xiu Fo Buddha on the case so that you can now win yours.

Daily Feng Shui News for March 24th – ‘Diamonds’

A few days ago we entered into the astrological sign of Aries. The birthstone most associated with Aries is the diamond, a gem long associated with romance, love and marriage. Diamonds are believed to hold such strong mystical qualities that the ancients were afraid to cut them for fear they would lose their magic. Some say that the custom of giving a diamond engagement ring began in part because of ages-old legends that said that anyone who carried a diamond on their left arm into battle would be immune to injury and ensured of victory. Draw a diamond in red ink on white paper and then think of how much money you’d like to have. Write that figure inside the diamond and place this piece in the ‘Wealth’ area of your main floor or bedroom. Remove this sparkling intention after 27 days and act on the new money-making opportunities that come your way that will allow you to sparkle.

Daily Feng Shui News for March 21st – ‘Fragrance Day’

Today’s ‘Fragrance Day’ energies let me share some of the many benefits of wearing grapefruit essential oil as your signature scent. This pure essential oil has a dynamite reputation for cleaning toxins from the body while also detoxing the lymphatic system and eliminating excess fluids. Inhaling this oil is also believed to help burn fat and even protect against cancer. A recent study showed that women who wore grapefruit essential oil as their fragrance were also perceived to be between seven and 12 years younger than they actually are. That’s a good enough reason to smell like citrus to me!

Daily Feng Shui News for March 20 – ‘Proposal Day’

On ‘Proposal Day’ I’d like to propose a Feng Shui way to get that perfect partner fully committed. If your mate can’t seem to make up their mind about marriage, then this tradition says to do the following: Get eight small boulders (or large rocks) and paint them gold. Position the rocks in a small pile in the ‘Relationship and Romance’ area of your yard or living space (far back right hand side of your living area). Before placing the last rock on top, tie nine, 18 or 27 inches of red ribbon, string or thread around it. Leave these rocks in place for 49 days. This cure promises that sometime within that time frame these rocks will place a stone of another kind on your left hand.

Daily Feng Shui Tip for March 19th – ‘Saint Joseph’s Day’

Today is ‘Saint Joseph’s Day’ and I’m reminded of the many anecdotes regarding people having real estate success by calling on him. The legend goes that burying a statue of Saint Joseph upside down in the front yard will unearth a new buyer, resulting in a satisfying sales contract. If you’re currently trying to sell real estate and think you can use a cosmic assist, go ahead bury a small statue of St. Joseph head down in the ‘Helpful People’ area (front right-hand corner of your yard) and then keep the faith. Can I get an Amen?

Daily Feng Shui News for March 18th: Goddess Of Fertility Day

Today is known as the ‘Goddess of Fertility Day’ but you won’t need to call on her services if you simply follow a little fertility Feng Shui. This tradition tells that sleeping on green sheets increases the chances of experiencing new growth and new life. Using images or symbols that are strongly believed to enhance fertility will also help you to conceive. A pair of elephants placed on either side of the bedroom door is thought to be particularly potent, as the elephant has long been associated with pregnancy in many traditions and cultures. Feng Shui says that elephants placed in the bedroom help to produce male offspring. Lastly, place something that represents a healthy and happy baby in the ‘Children’ area of your bedroom. That arena is located in the center or middle of the right hand wall. Oh baby, I can personally attest that these cures work!

Daily Feng Shui News for Mar. 7th – ‘World Day of Prayer’

Today’s ‘World Day of Prayer’ is one that’s after my own heart and soul, so I thought it apropos to follow suit and share a prayer for the entire planet. This prayer comes from angel archeologist and author Joann Cornug and it appeals to a band of angels called the ‘planetary intelligences.’ They are considered to be the guardians of our environment and when invoked will allow us all to live in harmony. The prayer is as follows: ‘I Am All This. I Am All This. I Am All This. The beginning is always now.’ You already know that you are alright. This prayer proves it.

Daily Feng Shui News for March 6th – ‘Dentist Day’

On this ‘Dentist Day’ I want to share a holistic remedy for relieving discomfort that may come after any sort of dental treatment. Rubbing a bit of peppermint essential oil on your gums will help to ease pain associated with post-dental work. Doing this every few hours will help to completely and alternatively alleviate pain altogether.
