This celebration is of rebirth and the return of the sun. Renewing of the old. It’s the beginning of longer, brighter days. A time to celebrate knowing that spring and warmer days lie ahead. A return of light, hope, and promise.

Litha- Southern Hemisphere-Summer Solstice

Longest day of the year where life & light are abundant. The time in which the son God is the strongest. Time of celebration by burning the sun wheel with promises of fertility and prosperity for the coming year. Also, a celebration of the Goddess because she is with child reflecting nature’s growth and abundance.
