The Karmic Tools Weekly Forecast covers the current planetary transits which affect people in different ways and to various degrees of intensity. Take notice when it is a Personal planet (Sun / Moon / Mercury / Venus / Mars) interacting with a Social (Jupiter/Saturn) or Collective planet (Uranus / Neptune/Pluto). And pay extremely close attention when it is a Social planet interacting with a Collective planet because that means something *big* is brewing that will move large groups of people along their evolutionary paths. Weekly Forecast: April 7 – 13, 2019
4/7 ~ Mercury (communication) ~sextile~ Saturn (responsibility):

This energy is really good for being able to objectively see what needs to be changed, fixed or stabilized in your life or environment. One expression of this energy is a tendency toward depression or apathy, but a better expression would be facing what needs to be done and following through on what you have begun. You may feel the need to organize things at home or work, or perhaps take a class or workshop of some sort that will help you attain your current goals. Either way, be focused but not too serious – balance in all things. It’s when you focus on the lack and limitation that you can tend to feel overwhelmed and sometimes helpless. That’s not the point of this energy. It’s just time to do some serious thinking, tend to the details, take stock and make changes accordingly.
4/10 ~ Venus (values) ~conjunct~ Neptune (dreams):
This energy is the power of your vision combined with your deepest values. It is the initiation of a new dream or the birth of some creative project that is ready to come through you. It’s a good time to reflect on the big picture of your life and make sure that your connection to the whole, your contribution and your purpose are all truly in alignment with your values & priorities of now. It is time to be more intuitive than linear – time to inspire rather than convince. Finances and relationships are hard to sort out definitively with this energy, it is better to express yourself creatively or artistically. This energy reminds you how interrelated everything is, so aligning your values within/without goes a long way for manifesting the vision. Follow your intuition, maintain integrity, stay grounded & be aware of your boundaries anytime Neptune is involved.
4/10 ~ Sun (essential Self) ~square~ Saturn (responsibility):
With this energy, it is best to understand that you may have two distinct pulls within – obligation to others versus responsibility to your Self. It’s not nearly as bad as it feels, however, it does bring up something we all work really hard to balance to some degree or another – SELF & OTHERS. How much do you owe your Self and how much are you obligated to others? Balance and reciprocity come to mind as guides. One of the challenges of this influence is making negative assumptions that there is no support for you when in truth, you haven’t asked for any and *help must be invited*. Saturn brings up our relationship to Time, and some people may feel restricted, as if life/other/outer is all too demanding and there’s never any time just for the individual. This activation is a push to grow. It’s time to hold your own structure in some way and reclaim your Inner Authority (also Saturn’s domain) in order to direct your life more effectively. Others may find their lives falling apart because they have avoided responsibility for so long and now there’s no more “wiggle room”. Rather than have a meltdown, take a nap and resolve to wake up with a plan, a strategy for taking the next step, even if that means simply asking for help or guidance from someone older and wiser. It’s time to deepen your dedication and commit to your Self in a whole new way. Recognize any current limitations and work with the resources at hand for now. The Sun usually illuminates the core essential nature or Self, so see where you may be stuck and need to break out of a rut of some sort and trust that taking charge and making a decision and choosing a direction is *inviting help* from the Universe to support your new direction.

This energy provokes the need to delve deeper into the ideas or information being presented at this time, whether personal or professional. You will want to dig deeper, ask the hard questions and gather insights that are more profound than usual. In your professional/public life, you may find yourself doing better due-diligence and in your personal/private life, you may find yourself digging a little deeper into your own mental patterns & personal history (that which has led to ‘now’). As you make these connections and begin to grasp these new insights, they will gain traction and you will become more grounded in your own Truth. We all get excited about those kind of ah-ha moments, and you may find yourself wanting to share them with others who may or may not be ready to hear such deep Truths or have the conscious awareness to even process them, so use some discernment around who and when you share these new-found insights.
4/10 ~ Jupiter Retro in SAG:
Jupiter is at home in Sag for the only time, once in 12-years, so I encourage you to take advantage of this year. No matter what your Sun Sign or where your Jupiter is, this is the best time for really checking in with your beliefs & philosophies. That said, it is affecting Sag/Gemini/Virgo/Pisces the most directly.
As I’ve said before, any retrograde planet indicates a time to slow down and recognize the shift in the energy. Try not to qualify it as ‘good or bad’ but simply look for any kind of *turn around*. Often, we don’t stop to reflect until we are blocked by some (seemingly) outside force. Many have been experiencing a testing of their faith and ability to continue to believe in a positive outcome for all involved. It’s hard to keep a positive attitude when we know there is so much work to be done to restore balance, in ourselves and the planet. But that is the thing about faith, if you keep it in the “idea/concept” realm and never test it to see how it works for you personally, then it is a lot easier to lose along the way.
Faith is an active principle. We are being challenged to dream up a new and better Story for ourselves & the planet. What do you believe? Part of my work as the Mystic Mentor is reminding you that your Soul Work is an ongoing, lifelong process. We get to work on this monthly, annually and in a bigger way, like now, every 12-years. Where Neptune represents our spirituality and connection to God/Source, Jupiter is our faith and personal code that we live by, our individual Truth.
Jupiter is also one of the *benefactors* in the Heavens and the lessons include how to better your life: education, consciousness, justice, integrity and truth to start with. Jupiter makes things bigger, so when in Sag, it’s expanding your conscious awareness around the Truth you believe and the Story you tell with your choices. It’s time to add meaning to your life. It is time to expand in some way, and that is customized for each individual (depending on your Sag House). Another one of Jupiter’s gifts is inflation so when it retrogrades, deflation can occur in that Area of Life for you so it’s good to be alert.
One of the blessings of this year’s Jupiter lesson is that we are supported to stop reaching outside of our Selves for guidance & clarity and turn to our own inner guidance to direct us. What do you believe to be true or possible for you? for humanity? for the planet?
Every year, Jupiter retrogrades giving us a chance to edit our stories, individually and collectively. With Neptune continuing its journey through Pisces, we are so supported to activate the Imagination to assist this year in a bigger way than usual. If you pull back to re-evaluate and tune-in to a greater vision for yourself, rather than try to force your will, you will feel stronger and more centered, which enables you to be more effective in the world. Work smarter, not harder. Make the necessary adjustments being demanded of you at this time. Edit or rewrite your personal Story and it will ultimately empower you.
Retrogrades demand that we contemplate the (true) source or hidden cause of our motives. There may be an imbalance. What you’ve been subconsciously thinking about or even acting out in some way, may come to the forefront and demand attention. You may have an urge to make a sudden decision regarding self-preservation. Any new plans impulsively implemented at this time will most likely need a revision (re-vision/new vision) somewhere down the line. Closer to Jupiter going Direct (8/11) things may begin to take shape in unexpected and wonderful ways that even you couldn’t dream up! So use the next 4-months to reflect on how you’d like to improve your life and the world.
4/11 ~ Mercury (expression) ~square~ Jupiter (truth):
(3 of 3: 2/22 ~ 3/15 ~ 4/11)
This energy challenges you to integrate your smaller vision with the larger vision for your life. On one hand, you can see the big picture in new ways, but on the other hand, you may not be very interested in the details that bring it about. This is another good one for expanding your consciousness and thinking outside the box, but as the insights come into your awareness, be mindful of the steps it will take to make your ideas a reality. This activation is also great for course-corrections where your ideas are concerned. It can also be a time when you open up to learning something new or a crucial piece of information is revealed, just keep in mind that you will have to stabilize anything you start and probably have to review some of the details down the road because of something you may have overlooked in your enthusiasm for the new Truth being revealed from within.
4/12 ~ Venus (relationships) ~sextile~ Saturn (responsibility):
This energy has to do with your obligations, within the context of relationships. They are not difficult obligations (in this case) but more emphasis is being placed on really loving to serve those you care about. It is also what I would call the “keep it real” energy, regarding relationships or finances. This activation prompts you to clarify what you are building, stabilizing & fortifying, in your relationships & finances especially. I am a total advocate of renegotiating terms as you go along because you evolve, the situation & support around you evolves, and your needs change, so often we have to remind those closest to us. It’s really hard to grow to the next level when each person is not clear on their ever-evolving roles & responsibilities. Of course, this starts with you knowing what you do or don’t want and what you are or are not willing to compromise about and what you want to create and make real with these connections.
4/13 ~ Sun (illumination) ~square~ Pluto (transformation):
This is a challenge to grow out of your comfort zone and into new territory. That said, with Pluto in Capricorn (2008-2024), twice a year for these 16-years, when the Sun is in Aries (Spring) and Libra (Fall), we get an opportunity to grow & change in the fundamental departments of life: self vs other and home vs work. In this case, and during these years, we are literally changing how we do ALL of this. Each year builds on the previous and we are now 11-years into the 16-year process of transformation. It is here that you have the most information to consciously work with as you prepare for the remaining 5-years, and ultimately, what you would like to get out of your conscious efforts and dedication. Sun helps us clarify and when working with Pluto, it is usually what is NOT working, what has run its course and is ready to be composted into new Life, new growth and a new direction (for Self). Pluto is the Purifyer, distilling things back to their true and original essence, fight that and it can be painful, work with it consciously and it can be transformative and will heal at the deepest root of any challenge. You can use this activation to honor that which has become obvious, or is highlighted in the here & now and purge or purify this energy. You are deeply supported for releasing old patterns and setting new conscious practices into action. Tie up any loose ends, close multiple chapters, mourn (if you must) & move on. As you do that, you will feel lighter & brighter and more grounded in your true Self, your evolved Self, the Emergent Self that is being birthed this Spring.
