All Signs
These are difficult times. Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter are in Capricorn – the sign representing structures, the government and the law courts. Next year, two of these planets will leave Capricorn and move into rebellious and innovative Aquarius. Not until 2023, will Pluto make a brief two-month appearance in Aquarius; then finally enter Aquarius for good in 2024 to stay until 2044. (Twenty years! That’s a stretch.) Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, which was discovered in 1781when they were toppling the heads of the European ruling class, before the French revolution in 1789. Scary stuff. (Of course, that was before anyone could buy a decent neck brace.) Bottom line? Rebellious change awaits us all. Oh yeah, that bell? “It tolls for thee.”
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a productive week. Admittedly, because your ruler Mars is in your sign and it is retrograde, you might feel that you are wading through sand at times. But motivation is everything and you are motivated! You want to be efficient and productive! Furthermore, you are taking pleasure now at making long-range plans that will change or revolutionize or improve your situation. When I say situation, this includes your health. The big thing to keep in mind right now is to guard against self-doubt. Don’t take the bait. If that little voice on your shoulder is questioning your self-worth – flick that character off immediately. “Be gone! And never darken my towels again!” (Thanks Groucho.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
So here’s the thing. Fiery Mars is actually hiding in your chart right now. By hiding, I mean it might subtly affect your subconscious. Meanwhile, Mars is actually retrograde, which further complicates things. The bottom line is your self-confidence is being tested. It’s easy for you to doubt yourself and doubt your abilities and doubt how lovable you are. (“I’m navel lint.”) Resist these little, fleeting thoughts that self-sabotage you! Instead, focus on making fun vacation plans for now or in the future. Focus on teaching kids or doing something that will solidify their future in a secure way. Enjoy redecorating where you live because this will please you. (Sorry — those psychedelic pillows have to go.)
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Your focus continues to be on home, family and your private life. However, now you are making some serious plans. You want to solidify your home base and solidify your family dynamic so that it is reliable and supportive. You want the real deal. You don’t want to be cast off in some lifeboat. Therefore, line your ducks up in a row so that you can count on where you live. Fortunately, Venus will guarantee that you can smooth talk anyone this week. Stay clear of any kind of competition with a friend or a group because this will only backfire. Meanwhile, take time to relax with some mental, pleasure-loving games. Read a mystery. Try a few challenging puzzles.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Your fast-paced continues; however, this week you will do some serious thinking and planning for the future. You might do this with a partner or a close friend or you might do it alone. Your ambitious schemes are temporarily halted. Please note the word temporary because by mid-Nov., things will start to pick up and by Jan. they’ll be all systems go! That might not be as soon as you would hope – but at least, you know that the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train! Fortunately, you can attract money to you this week; and many of you will spend it on pretty things for yourself and loved ones. Yay!
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You are still focused on money, cash flow and your assets; and you are concerned also with your personal sense of worth. Don’t worry you’ve got what it takes and you always will because despite your flash and dazzle, you are one of the strongest, most stoic signs in the zodiac. That’s why people rely on you. This is an excellent week to buy wardrobe treasures. (Get something because it will give you a boost.) It’s also a good week to teach, read, speak and influence others because you’re more chatty than usual and keen to learn. If you feel nervous to travel or you want to stay closer to home –that’s just fine. Stock the fridge.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You are blessed because the Sun is in your sign! (This happens only once a year for four weeks, giving you a chance to rejuvenate yourself!) Plus, the Sun in your sign inexplicably draws people and favourable situations to you. Admittedly, something to do with shared property, banking and the wealth of others might be stalled in the water. Nevertheless, you are full of moneymaking ideas! You might even have a little something going on the side? (Hmmm, this could also mean you are indulging in a secret love. Naughty pleasures!) Whatever happens, Jupiter will bless you now. Your health is good and you have a strong sense of well-being. Jupiter also will protect your finances. Relax.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Things are unsettled this week. The Sun is “hiding” in your chart, which is tricky. You have that feeling you’re waiting for something but you’re not sure what. “I’m all dressed up with nowhere to go!” Furthermore, retrograde Mars is opposite your sign, which could create confusion in partnerships and close friendships. Fortunately, this confusion is not aggressive. It’s closer to “How did I get here?” “Am I in this movie?” Don’t worry. Jupiter has you covered because things at home are solid and in fact, you are fortunate! You have a good home base. Accept that will be a bit “touch and go” until Jan. And you are not alone. Many people feel this way. Get comfortable.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This is still a popular time, which is a good thing because you need the support of your friends right now. This support might come through a group or a member of a group. Either way, your interactions with others will benefit you now, which is why it’s wise to be friendly and open with others. Certainly, people in power see you in a positive way. They admire you! Someone might offer you increased responsibilities or a promotion because they think so highly of you. Admittedly, you feel like you’re caught in slow mo at work. “I can’t make things happen!” Don’t get hung up on this. Go with what works, and focus on what is stalled in the water. Do what you can. Slowly, slowly.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
“We love you!” Oh yes, you are in a flattering spotlight that makes everyone admire you (even if you don’t do anything special). This is excellent! Smile and receive all these compliments. If someone asks you to do something – do it. You’ll look great. If you can travel for pleasure (unlikely but possible) by all means, do it because you’re keen to expand your world right now either literally or at least, through ideas. Younger people are a source of pleasure right now. (Especially if they kiss the hem of your cape.) If you have the ability to inspire someone, take this seriously. It’s a special opportunity, and certainly, an opportunity not to be missed. Don’t get hung up on difficulties with kids because this will get sorted out by Jan. Count on it.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
By nature, you are cautious. You like a sure thing. Who doesn’t like a predictable outcome? It’s the smart way to be. This is a good week to make long-range travel plans for the future, especially about publishing, the media, medicine, the law, and perhaps plans about further education or going back to school. It’s all good. Meanwhile, gifts and goodies from others will come your way. (Keep your pockets open.) Even your sex life is sweet and affectionate, and dare we say memorable? (We did.) The nebulous uncertainty of things at home or within the family will not be fully crystallized until Jan. Just accept this. Next year is a whole new deal! And a happier one!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Interactions with others are delightful. Relations with close friends and partners are warm and supportive. Younger people want to learn from you. (You might travel somewhere with someone younger?) Your modern ideas excite people, and this pleases you. Take advantage of this time to secure loose ends regarding shared property, debt, taxes, inheritances and estates. Ultimately, this will give you security in the future and perhaps even increased wealth. However, on a day-to-day basis, you might start to question everything? It’s as if you have lost your centre? But you have not. It just feels that way. You’re fine.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
You will need more sleep this week because the Sun is opposite your sign. Symbolically, this means the Sun (which is your source of energy) is as far away from you as it gets all year. If you are tired, situations will feel overwhelming! Fortunately, job-related matters look good. Coworkers and bosses admire you. You might even work to improve your work space or make it more attractive. (This is important.) Discussions about shared property, taxes, debt and inheritances will be productive. But your energy and enthusiasm to earn money are wobbly. This is just a temporary speedbump. Don’t worry. By Jan., you’ll be leader of the pack!
