The Aspects of the Moon in Leo
In Astrology, The Moon is the symbol for your inner self, the feelings-and-emotions part of your character, and the personality you share with very close friends and family members … people who are intimately familiar to you, those who know you best.
The Moon travels through all twelve signs of Zodiac every month, changing about every two and a half days. The sign the Moon occupies as it travels through the sky will set the “emotional tone” for the day.
The aspects it forms … the angles it makes to other planets in the sky as it moves … show periods of cooperation and conflict between your different needs and personal agendas. These, of course, will be reflected in the shifting moods and attitudes, the emotional concerns of real life.
Leo is a Fire sign. Fire signs are positive, assertive, active, outgoing, and motivating. They do things, stir things up and take action. They go after what they want and make things happen. When there is Fire Sign energy in the sky, or when a person has Fire Sign energy in his Natal Chart, these characteristics are up-front and on display.
Leo is also a Fixed Sign. Fixed Sign personalities are stubborn, set in their ways, firm in their opinions and resistant to change. They are stable, persistent, resourceful and resolute. When there is Fixed Sign energy in the sky, these attitudes and qualities will also show up in the day’s events and experiences.
When the Moon is in Leo, feelings are dramatic, generous … even ostentatious. People are self-assured, charismatic and confident. They express themselves with flamboyance and pride, dignity and determination.
When the Moon is in Leo, play up your leadership skills. Polish your popularity. Be creative and self-promoting. It’s time for romance, so be playful. Kick back and let the good times roll. Show off your talents. Find places, people and situations where you are admired and appreciated. Be warm, kind and generous to everyone — yourself included.
When stressed, people are arrogant, egotistical, vain, self-absorbed and self-centered.
