I made a special trip to a Nepal/Tibet import store the other day, because it is the only place I know of that has incense/matches. You strike the match, light the candle, blow out the match and then the incense burns. I like your site. 🙂
Good Morning Katsmama,
It is wonderful to have you visit my blog. These posts about the Witch’s Tools were post I was moving from my old group yesterday. I was trying to clear the topic out over there and get the info here.
Unfortunately for me, I have no store that sells anything even similiar to incense matches. I use the boxed kitchen matches. I don’t know if you are familiar with them are not. But they are a big match and work quite well lighting incense, candles, etc. I was brought up you never blow out a match. I was taught blowing out the match takes away from your magickal intent in the work you are doing. So I take the my wrist and flick my wrist back and forth till the match goes out. As far as the lighter goes, I only use one of those as a last resort. Then I ask forgiveness for using it.
I am so glad you commented on the post. I love to hear other’s opinions and ideas. I hope you continue to visit the blog. I would love to get to know you better. Have a great day!
Blessings to you & yours,
Lady A
That is funny 🙂 but I suppose………..true. Preparation for a ritual is the most important part.
