Pisces, the Fishes

The zodiacal month of Pisces begins around now. Although sign of the Fishes was once governed by Jupiter, the discovery of the planet Neptune, named for the Roman god of the sea, prompted its reassignment to this eminently appropriate new planetary ruler. The piscine pair’s element of water is equally apt, while its polarity is feminine, or negative, and its quadruplicity is mutable. All of these astrological influences is said to make Piscean people idealistic, dreamy, sensitive, compassionate, introverted, receptive, versatile, and restless.
