Song of the Witch

Will you be of Wicca, tonight?
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
Then come with me to the Circle of Light.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Take up these herbs and brew up a tea.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
And drink it all down; the gods you shall see.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Take up the glass, and look at your face.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
Go into yourself and find a new place.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Go to the Woods, and find an Oak tree.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
And cling to it tight, and strong you shall be.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Go to the Mountains and call to the Wind.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
And fly through the Air with the Thoughts that you send.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Fly to the Sun, and touch its bright Flame.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
Open your Mind; now choose a new Name.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Go to the Sea, and call to the Moon.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
Raise up your arms, then sing out Her tune.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

Now join your hands with Those who surround.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
Now share the Power that we send around.
Bend the Will; the Wish you shall find.

We shall part, but meet again soon.
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Tyme.
To dance, and sing, and Call Down the Moon.
Bend the Will, the Wish you shall find.

May They Now Rest In Peace

Gothic Comments

“Almighty Goddess Hel, daughter of Loki
Guardians of the spirits of the dead
The Police Officers of Dallas now come to you
As these men kneels before you, Hel
Know how much they were loved in this life
And how many they loved in return
Before they crossed over know these men were honorable souls
Soaring spirits, brave warriors, defenders of our world
Watch over each of them, Hel as they cross the bridge
From this life to the next
And welcome each with honor and glory
So that they may live on forever
In our hearts and memories.”

So Mote It Be

Invocation to Hecate

Sweet Days of Summer
Invocation to Hecate

Cauldrons, three keys and black dogs that bay at the moon
Grant me wisdom and strength, pray hear this Witch’s tune
Goddess of the crossroads, Hecate, I call on you
Come lend your magick to mine; my need is strong and true.

Note: Remember to thank Hecate for her time and attention when you are finished with your witchery.

Summer Invocation

Summer Invocation

by Trish Telesco

Fireflies and summer sun
in circles round
we become as one.

Singing songs at magick’s hour
we bring the winds
and timeless powers.

Turning inward, hand in hand
we dance the hearth
to heal the land.

Standing silent, beneath the sky
we catch the fire
from out God’s eye.

Swaying breathless, beside the sea
we call the Goddess
so mote it be!

(This can be used as a chant, part of a spiral dance, or to invoke quarters.)

Guess What? It Is Finally Friday!!! May The Goddess Bless You & Yours On This Beautiful Day!

We pray to the Goddesses of the Sun:

Samsa, Gün Ana, Shapash, Shapshu,
Xihe, Amaterasu, Bast, Bastet,
Olwen, Saule, Uelanuhi, Hekoolas,
Sunna, Hathor, Sekhmet, Pattini,
Hashi, Brigid, Aine, Adit,
and all the names we do not know:
bring us your holy light.
Light of healing and protection,
Light of strength and warmth,
Light of creative and fertile growth,
Light of purifying passion and energy.
Let your fire ever be fueled
and like a phoenix let us be reborn.
As you will it, so let it be.
