August 24th S. H. Current Moon Phase and Planetary Positions

SATURDAY, AUGUST 24, 2019

On this day the Moon will be in a Waning Crescent phase. In this phase the Moon’s illumination is growing smaller each day until the New Moon. During this phase the Moon is getting closer to the Sun as viewed from Earth and the night side of the Moon is facing the Earth with only a small edge of the Moon being illuminated. This phase is best viewed an hour or 2 before the sunrise and can be quite beautiful if you’re willing to get up early. It can also be a great time to see the features of the Moon’s surface. Along the edge where the illuminated portion meets the dark side, the craters and mountains cast long shadows making them easier to observe with a telescope or binoculars.

You can use this link to go forward or backward in time for Moon phase information. If you are curious you can even find out what phase the Moon was in when you or anyone else you know was on the date the person was born.
I was hoping to find another website that contained all this planetary information but have been unable to. As you will read from the website’s itself the timing is still off unfortunately they do not say whether the clock that is 15-20 off is fast or slow. I have written to them to find out which it is but have not received an answer yet. Please tell me if you still want me to post this information that is probably wrong or not post it until they get the timing right. Thank you!

Please note: We are aware that the time listed below may be off by 15-20 minutes. This is due to a problem with the clock on our hosting company’s web server. We have contacted them several times, but they have yet to fix this issue. We are in the process of moving to a new hosting company, and we appreciate your patience during this time. We apologize sincerely for any inconvenience.

Announcement About Posts for Planetary Positions

This is from the website WOTC has been getting a Central Time in Greenwich Mean Time for quite a while. But I am looking for a different at the moment more reliable source for this information. To many witches not only the Moon phase and day of the week is used to give a nonemergency spell its most power and best outcome they also use a specific placement of where a specific planet is and need to know the exact time it will be where they want it. With CurrentPlanetary.Positions.com not being sure how far off the GMT time is off nor do they tells if the clock they go by is running fast or slow or maybe both on any go enjoy day I don’t want your spell to go haywire because of a different websites time. So as soon as I find a new site today I’ll start looking for a different web site you.

The reason for this follows as copied and pasted from the website.

“Welcome to CurrentPlanetaryPositions.com!
