Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Keep your shirt on today (which is difficult when you want to get something off your chest) because the Moon is in your sign lined up with wacky Uranus and at odds with fiery Mars. This makes you impatient and impulsive! Stay chill.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

In many ways, this is a restless day, which makes it easy for you to lose your temper either at yourself or someone else. Naturally, this won’t make anyone feel better, including you. Instead, use another influence that is at play. (You have a choice.) Venus is in your sign and Venus makes you charming and diplomatic! (Sweet.)

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You might be tempted to argue with a female friend or a member of a group but where will this get you? That fleeting release of anger will lead to negative feelings for everyone. You don’t need this. Therefore, guard against knee-jerk reactions, especially in discussions about shared property.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

When talking to parents, bosses and people in authority today, you will be touchy! For starters, you are a natural boss, and when you see someone being a poor boss, this really bugs you! But hey, why create enemies? Stay frosty.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Avoid controversial subjects like politics, religion and racial issues today because they will erupt into arguments and disputes that will destroy your peace of mind. (You need this like a fish needs a bicycle.) Relax. Go back to your crossword.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Issues regarding inheritances, taxes, debt and shared property might come to a head today, which in turn, will trigger an argument with a partner or close friend? Think of your long-range view. Basically, you want to stay on good terms with this person, right? Keep this in mind.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Squabbles with family members, partners and close friends might arise today, in part, because you are caught off guard. “I was ambushed!” Whatever the case, keep in mind that you are a serious adversary. You are strong willed and scary at times. “Moi?” Yes, you. Easy does it.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Be careful because this is an accident-prone day for you; therefore, to avoid accidents and distractions, pay attention to everything you say and do. Slow down and take it easy. Be mindful. As an old uncle used to say, “We don’t want to get our names in the paper!”

April 23 Moon Goddess’ Current Phase

Today the Moon will be in a New Moon phase. During this phase the Moon is to close to the sun in the sky to be visible. The moon rises and sets with the sun and is not present in the night sky. Because of this the night sky is darker and an excellent time to view other celestial objects. Like the Full Moon, a New Moon happens at a very specific time when the sun and moon have the same ecliptic longitude and it can be measured down to the second it occurs.
