Current Moon Phase

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2020

Today the Moon will be in a Waning Crescent phase. In this phase the Moon’s illumination is growing smaller each day until the New Moon. During this phase the Moon is getting closer to the Sun as viewed from Earth and the night side of the Moon is facing the Earth with only a small edge of the Moon being illuminated. This phase is best viewed an hour or 2 before the sunrise and can be quite beautiful if you’re willing to get up early. It can also be a great time to see the features of the Moon’s surface. Along the edge where the illuminated portion meets the dark side, the craters and mountains cast long shadows making them easier to observe with a telescope or binoculars.

Priestess Hypatia

We spend numerous hours cleansing our spiritual space to create a flow of energy that will allow us effective results in our magickal life. We prune, water and tend to our gardens. We dust reorganize and designs our homes. We decorate our altar space, feeding this energetically in honor of the Gods or whatever is part of your belief system. One of the most important spiritual domains that we forget is our body. Yes your body too is a temple, a sacred altar, one that should be honored and respected just as equally. It is through this sacred vessel that ALL energy runs through and impacts our Magikcal world.

Cultures throughout time have practiced time honoring rituals in maintaining the body as a sacred space, we are the vessel that the Magick is radiating through. We create the space within ourselves for all Magick to…

Isis, Lady of the Holy Cobra

The serpent throughout history has endowed us humans with much power usually reserved for Gods, Goddesses, Kings and Queens.

In ancient Egypt it’s symbolism adorned the crowns of the most powerful Kings and Queens, especially that of the Cobra. Cleopatra from the Ptolemaic blood line in Alexandrea is often depicted with such a powerful serpent on her crown, as so were other Kings and Queens in her blood line thought to be descendant from the Gods themselves.

The Cobra is a symbol of not only mysticism, magick and majesty, but also one of great and infinite or eternal power, something the Egyptian Kings and Queens found very alluring.

It is the connection between life and death and one that represents the afterlife that links the Cobra to mysticism and the occult.

Cobra Familiar is certainly NOT for everyone…

Pythia at Delphi

Whenever I make a trip to my parent’s homeland I always endeavor to visit as many sacred Temple sites as I can.

One of the Temple sites that I will be revisiting sometime this year is located at Delphi, in upper central Greece on Mt Parnassus.

This is the site of the Oracle and the sanctuary of the Great God Apollo. It truly must have been a sight to behold in its days of glory.

Ancient peoples from all across the land came to consult this High Priestess called the Pythia. Thousands of people congregated on the foot of the temple waiting their turn.

The Pythia dates back to 600 BC, that is nearly 2,620 years ago.

Specific Oracular Timing

You see, the Pythia was active for only 9 months of the year as the winter made it impossible to travel to this…

Divination – Ogham Reading

 Ogham Reading

Nuin-Ash

The “World Tree” in Norse mythology was an ash tree; many cultures have looked to the ash tree as a source of power and order. Ash is a hardwood known for its use for weapons, sports, and musical instruments. This hardiness of ash denotes its symbolism for order, harmony, balance, and the status quo. Drawing the Nuin symbol can take on a variety of meanings, however it is most often associated with a life of peace and symmetry.

Fortune -When you find this Ogham, a great fate is at work. Take action now and let destiny carry you to the finish line!
