May 16-18: Overindulged and Unfulfilled
The weekend begins with a hint of promise thanks to the Moon being in “glass half full” Sagittarius on Friday. By early Saturday morning however, things take a decided turn. The Moon enters Capricorn where she’ll remain for the rest of the weekend. Here, lunar needs become stifled and difficult to fulfill. It’s time to carry on with a stiff upper lip and not cry like a baby if your lover isn’t meeting your needs. At least that’s what the Moon in Capricorn makes us believe we should feel.
Making this weekend more complicated is the fact that Venus will square off with Jupiter. Usually, this aspect points to overindulgence of some kind. Anything Venusian is fair game, whether it is socializing, romance, sweets or indulgent spending. If you try to win your lover over with an expensive gift or expansive gesture it’ll likely be met with disapproval. “How wasteful!” your sweetheart may exclaim. You may be wounded. But of course you won’t show it. Never. Not with the Moon in Capricorn.
