Quick weather report: It is suppose to warm up Friday. The temperatures are going to be out of the 20’s and 30’s. If you are lucky, Lady A should be back by Saturday. Then you will get rid of me. I know I am slow at getting the information out. I am new at this and have no computer experience. The computer is Lady A’s second husband. She can type like the wind and knows everything there is to know about computers. I am just a no-nothing computer slow poke.
I told you yesterday Lady A didn’t mind spending time with the animals. Yesterday afternoon, I was doing some filing. Mike (man that helps out) came running in the door. He was screaming, “Come here, quick, come here.” I thought some horrible had happened. We went to the building and he stopped me at the door. He told me to look in. Lady A was sitting in the floor. She had the baby skunks out of their beds. They were in the floor with her. The little babies were climbing all over her. We opened the door very quietly as not to scare the babies. We just stood inside the door. Lady A waved and told me to come over and have a seat. I went over and had a seat. She gently picked up one of the babies and put him in my arms. He was so soft and cute. I can’t describe it. The ones on Lady were loving all over her. They were all cooing and cawing. The one I was holding finally got use to me and let me pet him. It was a very loving and humbling experience. I have always loved animals but yesterday gave me a new appreciation for wildlife. See I told you Lady didn’t mind spending the night with those babies. The baby kittens and skunks are starting to play together also. They are all so little they don’t know if they are a skunk or a kitten. Lady A wanted to know if I got the blog done. She also told me to tell you, she missed you. And she would be back as soon as the weather broke.
